Hidden Costs and Money-bleeding customer service
On the main page of their seed paper product it says that they "delivery costs" are included, and they can send everywhere in the world. However, once you have configured, ordered and paid, they wait until shipment day to let you know that this kind of product cannot be sent outside to the EU (without no prior indication of that anywhere in the website nor the product page), and that sending it to outside the EU, in this case, the US, has a +50 Eur cost. After this communication, we let them know that the product then, is no longer of interest to us as it cannot be sent to the destination we needed it to be, but they replied that it was too late and they were charging us anyway, we could only change the address of shipping. We sent it to Switzerland, and funny enough, the cost of delivery was the same as sending it to the US.
The experience itself was very unprofessional, rude and overall felt like they where trying to trick us into paying more and more. But the cherry on top is when we are contacted by the transport company asking for an additional fee, and upon asking Greengiving about this their answer is "they only cover shipping costs but not import costs"... Nowhere on the product page, nor invoice was mention that there was this distinction or that the "delivery costs" did not include that.
Overall, a terrible experience with them.
