Greens Norton House Reviews 

Greens Norton House is amazing – We were a family group of 28 aging from 76 years to 6 weeks. We had everything we wanted for a most enjoyable long weekend. The house is so spacious , clean and immaculately presented. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the larger rooms were stunning and felt very luxurious. The kitchen was extremely well equipped we wanted for nothing.
It was a fantastic place for children – they could run around in the huge garden areas and there was a range of toys for both indoor and outdoor use.
The hot tub provided some lovely evening adult relaxation. The table tennis – outside but undercover - was in constant use and was well lit for evening play.
The dining room with its splendid table seated all of us comfortably although as we were lucky enough to have glorious weather we ate many of our meals at the outside table area.
The garden had a beautiful open peaceful aspect- looking out onto farmland.
We didn’t leave the site the whole weekend!

Really beautiful house. Well kitted out and a very well maintained garden. We loved our stay. Claire was really helpful and the whole process was very easy.

Claire and the Greens Norton House team were super welcoming and helpful in the booking process and stay during a recent stay for a Stag party. The house has everything from a hot tub, garden games and games room to ample kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. A fantastic base for doing stag activities as well as Towcester Racecourse. Couldn't recommend enough and will be coming back with the family.

Greens Norton suited our party perfectly, with games for young children, hot tub for everyone and lots of comfy chairs for us oldies...there was so much space inside and outside and it was a fantastic venue for our family get together

Just the perfect place for a big family party. Every detail thought of - ample fridge space, lots of indoor and outdoor space to chill out, a fab hot tub and even a wooden train set for our 11 month old grandson!

Couldn’t have asked for more in GNH! It exceeded my expectations - we were a big family group from 0-70yrs. Beautifully decorated clearly lots of attention has been put to guest comfort. Spotlessly clean and Hot tub was such a treat! We loved it and I can’t wait to come back!

We were a family group of 18 and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Greens Norton House. It was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and warm. The check in process worked very efficiently and we would recommend the house to others. Note that pets are not allowed.

We’ve (24 of us) just enjoyed a wonderful celebration weekend, and loved the barn style vibe of the house & gorgeous farm & countryside setting.

The house is in excellent order throughout.
A smallish but very well equipped kitchen, fabulous dining & living rooms, nicely appointed bedrooms with high quality bedding & enough bathrooms to keep everyone happy. There’s also wheel chair access to a ground floor bedroom & bathroom.

We also made use of the hot tub for no extra charge which was a nice bonus as many rental properties charge for this.

The boys in our group (late teens/early twenties) would have liked a bigger games room but they did make very good use of the table tennis at the far end of the barn.

We also recommend Sunday lunch at The Butucher’s Arms which is a 10 minute stroll into the village which includes 10% off if you’re staying at the house.

Our hosts were also very responsive so all in all, highly recommended.

House was perfect. So well stocked and immaculate. Bedrooms were brilliant and there was so much space for everyone!

We enjoyed a very successful family weekend for 21. The house is immaculate, with a variety of outstanding features which were very popular with our multi generational party. The beautiful dining room easily accommodated us all and apart from dining there was perfect for a fun beetle drive! Our younger members made full use of the table tennis, pool table, air hockey and other games and despite the chilly weather one of our group braved the hot tub! Elisse has been extremely helpful from handling the booking through to meeting special requests such as high chairs and cots. Sylvia made us very welcome on our arrival. We couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough.

From start to finsh, dealing with Ellise has been a pleasure at GNH. Booking, confirmations, speed of answering questions and the general appointment, quality of the house were all first class. We were 10 middle aged professionals celebrating my Stag weekend (2nd time round for marriage and still optimistic about love!). Quality throughout and just the most gorgeous setting, highly recommended.

Stayed here for my Stag do and loved it, place is well appointed and presented, situated in a lovely area, booking process was great and received damage deposit back in quick order, would stay here again!

Had a fantastic reunion of friends and families at Greens Norton - great facilities, generous sized rooms, lots of games and toys for children, games room with small pool table, plenty of green space outside (great for a water fight)!

Easy, efficient and quick communication and responses from the hosts.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our joint 50th Birthday with friends at Greens Norton House. It’s a great space set in a huge garden, so rare to find somewhere this well equipped with this many bathrooms! The comms leading up to our stay was fantastic, no question was too much trouble! Thank you Kate and Ellise for our memorable stay.

What a fantastic house. Lovely house and brilliant garden and grounds including a small paddock at the back which doubled as our garden cricket arena!

The house is beautiful inside and out with plenty of space and bathrooms. It comfortably slept our large party. We booked it for a Stag Do and it really worked perfectly; the groom was chuffed.
Cracking pub down the road as well - Butchers Arms.

The service from the office as well was first class; clear, concise and friendly. Will certainly keep this place in mind for any future large family gatherings / occasions. Could not recommend it more.

We were delighted that we chose Greens Norton to celebrate our 40th anniversary with friends and family.

The house is really well furnished, much better quality than most properties we have rented. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything works.

It was a pleasure to deal directly with the owners who were very responsive and provided great recommendation on activities and an excellent private chef (Danny Tomkins).

The gardens are lovely with a very comfortable hot tub and lots of garden toys if you have children. The setting is very English with a distant view of the village church over fields.

We have just spent a weekend at Greens Norton House celebrating my 70th Birthday with family and friends. What an incredible place. It exceeded all expectations. The house is so large and well appointed we never felt on top of each other. The children aged 5-15 loved the games room and the snug where they built train tracks and played board games. The adults loved the hot tub. Chef Simon from Milton Keynes provided a fantastic meal on the Saturday night. Superb and his staff so lovely and attentive. I can’t recommend Greens
Norton house or chef Simon highly enough. Thank you for making my birthday weekend so special

The house is brilliant and so spacious, great for groups and kids. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!
