It is very rare for the unit that I purchased to develop a fault, but my contact at GridE ran through some possibilities to try a resolve the issue and when that failed was very quick to get a brand new replacement unit out to me. Things were a little longer than hoped but that was still amazingly good given it was handled over the Christmas and new years period.

Battery was delivered very promptly after order. To anyone planning to build an eBike or replace existing battery system, this product really is the neatest I have come across. At a glance, the 7Ahr 36V option is almost indistinguishable from a standard water bottle. Different capacity batteries can be interchanged in the same bottle type holder according to ride duration. Brilliant!

As a customer of both the bike kits and bike servicing I have always been surprised by the quality of work and end product received. When one of my wires malfunctioned they drove down to me and replaced the wire at no expense and with extremely high levels of Customer service. 10/10 customer experience

My experience with Grid Electric was nothing but positive. I was in need of a battery specific to my E-bike model. Alex was super helpful and willing to customise the battery to fit my model at all costs. The response time was also very speedy.

Took 8 days to receive the goods. 1 day to offer an alternative as nil stock and then 2 more working days to dispatch then 3 days for hermes to deliver. You need to be on the ball more or the company's like Amazon are going to clean up !

A neighbour has just built my conversion. Goes ok on initial impressions. Need to learn more about the operating options.
Downside is no manual is provided for the display screen. I'd like to change to miles if possible.
Another minor problem is that the larger front chainring means the chain is now too short to go onto the largest rear sprocket. A longer chain will sort that out. I want to have the low gear in case the battery and I run out of puff.
