Lensfilter is great, website and communication has room for improvement
The lensfilters from Griffon Lens are great and does what it promises. Got mine in a few days.
The only two things I would like to see improve are the website (which is fully in French, even though they ship worldwide) and the communication about the delivery times.
The website, like mentioned before, is fully in French. Google translates it pretty well, but this could still be intimidating. It makes the website feel amateurish and - quite honestly - a bit sketchy. Also, the website being a Jimdofree website doesn't help with the allround feel of it.
Nonetheless, I saw a few videos of the filters Griffon Lens sells, so I bought the Cheese Filter 1/4.
Payment was easy enough, if you have PayPal. This is (aside from manual money transfer) the only way to pay.
After the payment, I received two emails. One, stating that my payment went through and my order was being confirmed (also in French btw), and another one shortly after confirming that the item has been shipped.
After this, there was complete radio silence. No track-and-trace code or anything. The website states (when you actively search for it) that delivery takes anywhere between 2 or 11 days, depending on where it needs to be shipped to. Being in The Netherlands, this should be more towards the 2 day range.
However, since I didn't receive any updates whatsoever regarding the shipment, I didn't notice that the filter had already arrived in my mailbox until 4 days after the email.
Anyways, like I said in the beginning, the filter had arrived and certainly delivers.
Tl;dr: I'm happy productwise. Customer experience-wise, let's just say that my father couldn't have figured out how to buy something from this website.
