They replaced my broken probe after 6 months of ownership. I certainly dont believe I broke it, but I couldnt prove that I hadnt, and they were kind enough to give me the benefit of the doubt. Pleasure to deal with! Probe records temperature well.

App is absolute junk

They extort you over returns. They literally say they will let you return it but only if you provide positive feedback and they link to this page in their email. So heres the feedback they ask for "they are a terrible dishonest company."

And the app is absolute junk. Unintuitive, poorly designed interface, difficult to use. Avoid like the plague. Buy another probe not this rubbish.

Avoid - Dishonest return practices

Ordered their wireless thermometer and used it about a week after its arrival. Temperature was low by 20F.
Contacted the merchant to request a refund (well within their return period) and didn't receive a response. I followed up with another email about 10 days later to say that if they wouldn't provide a return authorization and refund, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. This the responded to.
However, they sent a first email offering me a 40% refund and I could keep the product and asked if I was agreeable to that. Literally a minute later they processed the 40% refund. I replied to them saying that this was not acceptable and I wasn't interested in keeping a defective product but didn't receive a reply. I decided to dispute the charge and because Grillpar issued the partial refund I can no longer file a dispute.
My advice, go to your local grilling retailer and purchase one there. At least you know you won't get scammed!
