The extra package that I paid for on grindr is a complete RIPOFF..
It thinks my local search area is 6kms away, its a joke, it does not search local area or local profiles, infact it sends me profiles that is claims to be local to unlock them, and they are over 120kms away... WTAF??? Thats England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 FFS.. NOT MY COUNTRY..

This simple issue proves the failing of GPS and triangulation technology is at a serious fault and is faulty as 100+kms is not close at all.. its a different damn country .. I am in south wales.. and I have SPANISH men speaking Spanish at me to meet From SPAIN...IM IN THE UK...

Im positive this is a complete failing of the app and services they claim to provide..

And WHY THE HELL AM I STILL SEEING ADVERTS?????? ...
WHEN I HAVE PAID......
I SWEAR ONE MORE ISSUE AND IM PRESSING CHARGES....and the False advertising will be more than a big issue to add to a case.

dont use this app....
i have the rights to subscribe /unsubscribe but if that facility is not available then what is the use of this app...
i dont recommended to use they deduct money automatically.....

This app is unusable if you dont pay for the subscription,which is way to expensive for just a hookup app.And it is also filled with too many scammers and bots.

I have been suspended for no apparent reason. There is no mention of any reason and I can’t complain. I can only email and I think it’s a joke.

Awful app . Flooded with adverts and fake profiles . Unless you pay for it and even that is rubbish . How anyone pays for this is beyond me .

Malware ads, lack of care for users

I was talking to a guy last night who was mutual in the things I was discussing about and he has reported me for explicit content how do you have explicit content on grinder in a private chat so I have no been suspended for 24 hours I found this highly unfair and after the other people who are on there are hiv positive not declaring who they are or what they are we were talking about sexy underwear and sexual things of gay nature absolutely ridiculous

They don’t care about privacy. I removed profile picture and the picture was still showing for few days!!!

Too many scammers online. Grindr should verify anyone who joins. It’s just common sense.
And a total rip off for a service that is no good

I have used the app on and off and besides the fact there are clearly alot of bitter men on here thinking you owe them something. The app itself needs investigating by authorities. if you do not meet other men for s@x, the app will literally block you for not following their guidelines and Terms. The app is coercive and forces you to meet other men even if you dont want too, or you get banned. What kind of a joke is this? Disgusting

The app is so unreliable and they know it. I pay £30 a month for rubbish - I have to restart my phone every 15 minutes and even then that doesn't necessarily mean it will work. It's a piece of s**t.

Grindr is full of ads and fake profiles.
There are some profiles that show they are 60 KMs away and right next door there is someone 2kms away. It's a load of shit.

Constant bots spamming you when you sign in mixed with relentless apps. I wouldn’t mind the adverts if there weren’t many robots spamming you and trying to scam you.

Also when the UK Online Safety Act was brought into power, you had to verify yourself, but now it appears there’s no control (again to mention the bots and scams).

Grindr has even automated processes to block websites in profiles (and certain words), so the question stands as to why they won’t do this for private messages.

The UK Online Safety Act was designed to stop this and I’ve told Grindr so but nothing has been done. They know my MP is aware but doubt they care. Will be reporting them to Ofcom as well as raising a law suit!

horrible so called dating app its filled with spam-bots and prostitutes advertising they claim they want to stop this and to report such profiles but guess what when you do they ban you for misusing the report system so that means they actually prefer it like that ever since the app was sold to straight couple they its gone downhill they seem to have an issue with gay men and have let the app become infested with female prostitutes

Guys, I am sure that we all understand that the provider of the app has shown how desperate they are. No need to complain - they have the right to be desperate. BUT! Shall we (people, in general) support such a rubish by paying for that kind of service? People, plese, wake up! The provider has shown zero interest in the users, so let's do the same. DO NOT PAY FOR ANY "UPGRADE" OR USELESS FEATURE. It will not make more sexy or attractive. We better improve our lives by buying frutiful things/services with that money. I am not even talking about the price - annual payment of economic software of my company is cheaper than their fee... Be smart!

Extensive bad services from them nor they are replying back to emails nor they are. Doing anything and also. Not clearfication about as why they ahve suspend my account without any reason and for something i have not done. Ban this or take serious action and possible avoid this.

Grindr used to be a great little app doing great things for the community.
Now it is a useless relentless money making service run by bots or overwhelmed (or utterly incompetent) staff. Their reviews over the last 12 months say it all. They have numerous lawsuits against them, numerous they’ve lost and more to come. Such a shame but I definitely wouldn’t give them any money, they really don’t deserve it
