My Eskdale experience
The shoes are perfect, I bought them because my old pair have done well considering almost constant use.
They were delivered the day after I ordered them.
My old pair will become my gardening shoes.

walking shoe and rucksack
Ordered motion walking shoes after a good review in Which. The packable daybag rucksack looked useful so that was ordered. Items promptly delivered by DPD. Shoes were very good quality and a couple of short walks to the shops showed that they were good for comfort and fit. Rucksack will be trialled later.

I own a pair of lady harrier taupe boot…
I own a pair of lady harrier taupe boot which are advertised as waterproof . This boot is very comfortable and great for dry conditions and the odd showers . However having spent a week in Scotland walking through wet and boggy terrain unfortunately these boots were not waterproof .

These boots feature a waterproof and breathable membrane and are designed for wet walking conditions. However, water ingress can occur for several reasons, including water entering over the top of the boot, wear or damage to the membrane, and issues relating to fit, care or maintenance. We provide guidance on these possibilities on our website.
Your concern was reported during an exceptionally long period of dry weather in the UK, which made the reported fault difficult to assess under comparable conditions. We also cannot identify the age of the boots from this review. Grisport offers a comprehensive 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects—one of the strongest warranties available for walking boots within this price bracket in the UK.
If the boots were within the warranty period when the issue was reported, we would be happy to review the circumstances and advise further.
