Service Exceeded Expectations

Had Grohe kitchen faucet installed with reno about 12 years ago. Ladylux faucet has worked perfectly but rubber insert to switch between straight flow and spray was worn out. I called Grohe customer service and explained the issue asking if I could get the rubber insert replace and was told they would have to replace the entire spray handset. This came in free of charge today and a 2 minute install. Faucet looks and works like new. Couldn't ask for better support and service from the company.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I will never buy grohe products. Leaking shower head and body spray on a new house that's less than 5 years old. Been over a year and they still haven't fixed it. Terrible customer service as well. Now they are telling me I'm not covered under the warranty.

A 14 year old faucet

I have an alira kitchen faucet bought in 2008. After a time the rubber thumb button wore through . Not once but twice in 14 years of use! But my point is twofold. Firstly they should fix this issue but even more important to me is that each time I contacted tgen they immediately sent me a whole new spray( they no longer carry just the button but no problem at all. The last time we needed something to stop a leak in the base. They not only sent it free to canada, but no charge and lots of info on how to replace them if we didn't want to get a plumber( I mentioned it was going to cost me $200) . The woman from the states who took the call couldn't have been nicer!she even said, if we tried on our own and needed help to phone them!this is a 14 year old faucet. The warranty was for as long as the original owner had it! Sorry to hear others have not had as good an experience but I had called grohe .ca .

Not worth the extra cost

The expensive Grohe kitchen faucet needed repairs after three years. The sprayer arm would not rotate. The problem came back in another three years. The cartridge also needed constant changing. Customers service provided the replacement parts but given the cost incurred for the repairs I would never buy a Grohe product again.

It is good to see other people's…

It is good to see other people's experience.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We installed all Grohe fixtures in all 4 bathrooms and kitchen when we renovated our house in 2012. The rubber over the spray button on the faucet head for our ladylux kitchen faucet broke and I wanted to replace the faucet head. Over the past 3 months, I have called customer service twice and held for over 2 hours with no one picking up the call and got cut off. I emailed twice in the format on Grohe.ca website, attaching photos and explanation - last email was over a month ago and still no response at all. I have always admired German products because of the quality but I am certainly not happy with the customer service from the Canadian Grohe website. I guess the success of the company and popularity if the products gives the company the security that they don't need to give good service or maybe they think that if a customer gets impatient, we will just replace the entire faucet with a new one - believe me, if I have to go that route, it will NOT be a Grohe.

Made a warranty claim defective kitchen…

Made a warranty claim defective kitchen faucet Oct 3 2020. After writing again received approval Dec 14 2020 saying replacement being shipped. January 13 2021 still nothing. No notice of shipment, nothing. Faucet now down to a dribble. Tried calling their 800 number. 20 minutes call dropped. Called again more than half an hour nothing but promos! This is grohe.ca. Extremely poor service, in fact NO service. Four months and still waiting!

After 57 minutes on hold talked to Danny in Mississauga. All he could say is that "it's on backorder"! No help at all. Four months and waiting! Danny said it might be in a warehouse in the US. I said call them. No, can't do that. Apparently all he can do is say it's on backorder. I waited 57 minutes plus a 20 minute dropped call for this.

It looks like the parent company doesn’t care.....

It looks like the parent company, Lixil, doesn’t care Grohe’s business in Canada as they appear to have stopped supporting their products. Absolutely NO customer service on my numerous requests And follow-ups for a faulty part. Luckily, Moen makes and supports their products fully and I will toss the overpriced, poorly made Grohe faucet and replace it with a Moen. Grohe, NEVER AGAIN.

I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS IF…

I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. HAVE CALLED AND EMAILED THEM A DOZEN TIMES WITH ZERO REPONSE. I HAVE A BRAND NEW FAUCET THAT NEEDS A REPLACEMENT PART (LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OLD). THEY CLAIM TO ANSWER VM MESSAGES AND EMAILS WITHIN 24 HOURS. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER 2 MONTHS AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS I AM THROWING THIS FAUCET OUT. WHAT A WASTE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE COMPANY WITH EVEN MORE GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very Poor Customer Service …

Someone in the Grohe International organization needs to do something about the terrible customer service from your Canadian branch in Mississauga Ontario. No responses to URGENT messages after ten days and a terrible phone system that just arbitrarily cuts you off after 15 minutes of holding for a representative. The one time I got through the lines, the parts representative refused to deal with my inquiry. All in all a terribly managed organization which puts the Grohe name to shame.

This is an honest review with true feedback. This should not violate your rules as it is a summary of a real experience.

Customer service department has been closed, due to budget cuts.

We purchased Grohe faucets for the kitchen 20 years ago and for a bathroom about 8 years ago. Those were the days when grohe still made decent product.
We had a problem with the bathroom shower faucet, such that we do not have a shower, and so i sent an email to Grohe.ca for assistance in identifying what part i need to replace. That was a week ago. tick tock tick tock. i guess they have closed the customer service department to save money.

I have made an email inquiry three…

I have made an email inquiry three times now over a five to six week span & have yet to hear anything back. That clearly demonstrates beyond awful customer service!! They state someone will reply to you but they only have people working within normal business hours. I get that, but after three emails & six weeks.....really!? The faucet purchased continues to drip & they continue to demonstrate terrible customer service.
