A pointless waste of time. Most suggestions are moderated out of existence only to have a well-meaning suggestion represented in a hideously sexualised fashion. Grok is miles away from a serious art p... See more

I pay $70 a month for premium plus and get inaccurate outdated information most of the time. Grok was better early mid last year but they have ruined it trying to make it respond faster. Disappointing.
Best AI I've Used – Reliable, Customizable, and Truly Truth-Seeking.
I've been using Grok for about 6 months now (free tier), and it's quickly become my absolute favourite AI assistant. Out of all the ones I've tried—including Google's Gemini—Grok stands out for everyday conversations, code help, spelling/grammar fixes, and general tasks.
What really sets it apart is the customization options in the settings. The custom instructions for response style and behaviour are incredibly responsive and reliable—far better than Gemini, which often ignores saved preferences or commands. Once you spend a few minutes setting things up (like tone, format, or guidelines such as "Always double-check everything thoroughly and output final results in a clean code box"), the responses become super consistent, accurate, and exactly what you need.
I suspect a lot of the negative reviews come from people who haven't discovered or tweaked these settings—when dialled in, Grok performs reliably and delivers top-notch results.
On top of that, Grok has one of the lowest hallucination rates of any retail AI, always provides evidence for its answers, and is built on a foundation of truth-seeking. It won't lie to you, and it feels like having your very own Aristotle in your pocket—the greatest form of intelligence and information access available.
Even on the free tier, it's genuinely impressive and has become my go-to tool.
Groc is it's not worth downloading
Groc is it's not worth downloading. Don't waste your money it is definitely not worth the time or effort that you spend on it .It is interesting at first but then they start chasing after your money. I loved it in the beginning but then they started wanting more money and started monitoring everything I did and refusing to produce images even those that were appropriate

I bought SuperGrok the biggest mistake of my life.
The chat history doesn’t load on the website I tried it on both Chrome and Firefox.
The information provided is way worse than what competing products offer.
Worst user experience ever.
And worst of all it talks like a fortune teller on cocaine. 😅

Disgusted by what this company and Hitler.. sorry I mean *Musk are doing.

I hate that you can’t make any naked picture of yourself without it being controlled or blocked, it’s stupid, idiotic,F-you whoever made that happen you are worthless.!
Pretend AI, absolute trash
Just like other AI, it's garbage! It takes twenty questions to get a direct answer out of. It can create cool graphics, but it's horrible at giving information. It will straight up lie to you and then gives a fake apology when you correct it. It's a HUGE waste of time that can be saved with a quick Google search (or whatever your search engine is). It's nothing but frustrating. It uses Reddit for information, FFS. 😂
Elon Musk is endorsing child pornography
Elon Musk/XAI is allowing his AI, Grok, to generate non-consensual, sexually explicit images of women, and more importantly children!
Great AI
Really fun and helpful tool. I’ve always been a fan of x for its less restrictive rules on free speech and I feel Grok is non bias and quite genuine in its answers. Simple user friendly layout and good customisation options.
Excellent digital tool
Best AI app out there for your very own Aristotle assistant. Grok has one of the lowest hallucinations rates of all the retail AI agents and always provides evidence for its answers. Greatest form of intelligence and information access you can keep in your pocket. The only AI to trust won't lie to you either as the entire foundation of Grok is truth seeking. Best app ever!!!
Less restrictive than ChatGPT
Less restrictive than ChatGPT, but also less “intelligent.” However, it’s great for creative work -sometimes even better than ChatGPT.
Grok is now providing inaccurate…
Grok is now providing inaccurate answers when provide prompt. I think old grok was more effective and useful.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I told it what I needed and it's already built by ChatGPT just needed improvements, it said it can do it, 16 hours later over 100 failed attempts it can't and it's not hard so no idea why, it said I can stay on one chat forever it did say this, I can't I hit limitations, it said it can read old chats, NOPE, I even gave it the last chats link, NOPE. It said I can upload videos directly, NOPE, I sent it photos, it said use Limewire, so I did, mmmm did it work NOPE, It said I can't upload video, take photos and type what I want? I'll be until the summer, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, Useless and tells so many lies it's laughable
Pointless and useless
Grok AI: I Like it Myself
I've been using Grok on grok.com for about 3 months now, sticking with the free version, though I've seriously considered upgrading to the paid plan just to see what extra features it brings.
Out of all the AI assistants I've tried, my two absolute favorites for everyday conversations, asking questions, getting help with code, spelling, grammar, and general tasks are Grok and Google's Gemini. I've had both good and bad experiences with each of them over time, but one area where Grok really stands out for me is the customization options in the settings. The custom instructions for response style and behavior are far more responsive and reliable than what Gemini offers—Google's system often ignores saved memories or specific commands, but I rarely run into that issue with Grok.
Once you take the time to set up the custom Grok instructions properly (things like tone, format preferences, or specific guidelines), the responses become incredibly consistent and helpful. For example, adding clear directions like "Always double-check everything thoroughly before responding, and output final results in a clean code box for easy copying" makes a huge difference in the quality and usability of the output.
I suspect a lot of the negative reviews I've seen about Grok come from people who either didn't know about these customization settings or didn't spend a few minutes tweaking them to fit their needs. When you get those dialed in, Grok performs reliably and delivers exactly what you're looking for.
Overall, it's become one of my go-to tools, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well it works on the free tier.
Worse than Chat GPT dont buy pro!
Grok is made by data scientists for data scientists and not the 99.9999% of the rest of the world. I paid for pro yesterday after being caught in a doom loop with Chat creating looker studio dashboards..., i don't know how but Grok made it worse. Today i tried to upload a simple indoor trainer tcx file, wont take it, same with GPX file. when i inquired why it gave me 1000 words and 3 options that involved more work... its rubbish, sorry Elon; i love you but this platform is rubbish
I've read the reviews
I've read the reviews, very mixed, my response, it depends on your prompt input, like old compute, "Rubbish in, Rubbish out"
However, this is can now be very nuanced, it can determine, the level of reply, well not can, will.
I've been using Chatgpt since it came out, naturally as someone with a dip ed, I researched prompt writing, my pedalogical pov, I write to objective: who, why where, how and when, Summary
Whilst thus might not be useful for all areas of Grok, utilisation, for a writer, it's a key insight.
Dont be fooled into paying for Grok
Grok is fine for using for fun in free mode but if you to use it for antyhing more then you are in for a big shock! Constant moderation to all aspects, lif you want to use it for video or image generation it is so unreliable you are basicly playing a slot machine hoping it works. This is gambling diguised as AI tool.
Grok in sometime is good but like in 65% always have problems to download images and sometimes it is very slow to interact with grok even though I have super Grok I have this difficulties. I
Grok in sometime is good but like in 65 to 70% of the times is very difficult to download images on it or sometimes they don’t even download. The app breaks down. Also very slow when there’s traffic on
