Scam

I've been a continuous contributor to Groupees, and we sold several bundles, including merch and digital items. However, the latest bundle was not paid out (even though there were sales), and it was eventually deleted along with our profile. Our company did not receive any payment. This is a scam.

Are Groupees still operating?

Groupees support emails are bouncing back at present. I can get no reply regarding contributor payments. All does not look well for the company. I will edit this if I can get any response.

Spamming my email account, seems they decided to grab my data to spam me. Don't know who they are.

Not sure where they got my data from but suddenly I get newsletters and it seems an account for newsletters was created for me using one of my old e-mail addresses. There is no way to delete the "account". Interestingly, they clearly only grabbed my email from somewhere as my "account" has no other private data - i.e. my name or anything.

That "account" only has the option (re- or) unsubscribe to newsletters (which I didn't subscribe to in first place). Those guys might want to review GDPR rules of the countries they are targeting. I thought maybe they got my account details from a game or something, but I can't find any information on whether they are linked to a game or a service I use(d), particularly not with my old email address. Also, I regularly change my e-mails and they clearly grabbed that address somewhere which is already rather dodgy.

Either way, they shouldn't be contacting me. Definitely going to report them!

I recently tried Groupees

I recently tried Groupees and was actually quite impressed with their approach to bundling similar products together. I also like that they offer pay-what-you-want for their bundles. Their customer service is also helpful. I think one of the most exciting aspects of Groupees is the sense of community on the site where you get to chat with other digital asset enthusiasts who share tips and recommendations on the site's forums. I found this to be extremely helpful and informative.

Don’t even try using this app !!

Don’t even try using this app !!!
They would take money first and load them into their own little card and you won’t be able to transfer the money back into your own bank if you decide to change plan afterwards.

Groupees is GOOD

In total, I purchased over 300 bundles.
-
First of all, Game key (Steam key) troubles are basically the fault of the developer/publisher. (Because Only dev/pub could controls the publication/invalid,revoked of the game key on Steam). Trading troubles are the responsibility of both you and your trading partner. If you don't understand this, the game bundle site is not for you. (This is not only to Groupees)
-
They don't sell game bundles these days, probably due to the fact that they've lost their reputation for awful games (Nevertheless, the Star Trek Online & Neverwinter Bundle has sold over $100,000, And donated it all), but they do focus on music bundles, and they have the appeal of being able to buy a variety of music at a discounted price, including bundles featuring synth wave-type music, which is a genre of music with a strong 80s flavor, bundles featuring chiptune, and bundles featuring vocaloid. And they donate a portion of the proceeds.
-
Some of the best known are The Flashbulb, Really Slow Motion and Antti Martikainen, BARRY LEITCH (SNES Top gear's composer), Adrian von Ziegler, Miracle Of Sound, Peter Crowley, among others, which are included in the bundle.
-
I especially recommend it to anyone who loves music, regardless of genre.

Duplicate/Revoked Keycodes

Countless duplicates and revoked keycodes from bundles such as "8Floor/Joybits Bundle" for example!

Multiple confirmed on trading communities beside my own experience. I can't recommend anyone to buy games there!

Their support page states as of…

Their support page states as of 11/9/2019 that

"Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

* The bundle was not purchased during the presale period.
* None of the items have been revealed.
* The request is made while the bundle is still available for purchase."

I bought a bundle and less than 24 hours later decided I wanted a refund, which was denied because they said they didn't honor "buyers remorse". What kind of company doesn't refund an unopened item returned within 30 days let alone 24 hours? Especially when the return met all of their criteria? Very poor showing Groupees, very poor indeed.

Non-Working Keys, Rude Support

I bought a bundle from Groupees some time ago, only to find that the keys didn't work.

Contacting support via email was brilliant - they got back to me within a couple of hours, asking for more information. I had exactly the information they requested, so I provided the information immediately, and waited for my refund/replacement.

Two weeks later, I sent an email to check that they'd received the information. Still no response.

Two weeks after that, I went through their contact form to check that they were receiving emails. I received an email containing all the information I had provided previously, proving that they had received the information - but no update.

They were simply ignoring me.

They've taken my money and simply don't care.

I love it

It's a unique bundle site, i buy game bundles only.
The bundles are cheap, because most of the game are in greenlight. If it gets into steam, you will receive a steam key.
It`s a great way to get future steam games.
