Group-fun as it's called ain't that much fun, to many young guys on there who say they live in the UK, when in fact they live outside the UK, also you have certain things your looking for, and they don't even match that, also search options should be better, and when your searching there aren't that many guys who are local to where I live,I know that's not there fault, if I lived in London it would be fine, and there's no verified profiles, so there probably is alot of fake profiles, overall this website ain't worth the hassle, give this website a miss if I were you, you won' regrete it.

Hey there. When a person is in a smaller town or city, our system backfills from other cities nearby. We chose to do this, rather than delivering fewer results. Our thinking is that people from smaller towns may be inclined to drive somewhere nearby, in order to meet the right person or people. No fake profiles or 'tom-titted-ness", just a bigger pool of options for our community. Every site and app on the internet, that uses location or address, does this.
Site not working. Logged out of the site and now invalid user
Since the last few updates, the site has got worse. But i stuck with it in the hope it would improve. Now out of the blue, my profile basically froze and i was forced to log out in the hope that logging back in would sort this problem. Instead i now find my account is invalid and even when i set up a new account, same issue. Emailed groupfun and get no response. Waste of time

Was told my username was invalid and kicked off the site with no appeals process. Was told my session expired and was not able to access the site even though I was mid conversation?
Update: was told to contact contact costumer services no one responds to that email. Would give the company a 0 if I could.

Just like any other free dating app, website, or social media community, if someone tries to take you away from the product, before getting to know you, it should be a red flag. Please report them so we can take action and remove them as soon as possible.
We have a giant community of guys looking for guys, in the UK. We just did a bunch of street team marketing around UK clubs and such, so guys near you should be plentiful.

Free text's and All the so called profile's pictures are like a glossy glamour mag, exotic lookin vegetation (could all be holiday photos lol) no chance of seeing one aged over 50 ffs I got a message from a 34 year old girl (I'm 54 so wasn't interested) I was almost fooled because her pic had Gorse bushes in the background, must say, she was a good speller, then she just disappeared.. I'll just stick to my old Flirtfinder, if you're a couple on there, you may only get 4 messages per year lol but at least the Peep's are real.

Hey Mitch, there is nothing fake about Groupfun, and of course we have members of all ages, interests, orientations, etc.. It's a gigantic, massive, popular dating site. When I search for members in my area, ages 47-99, I literally see MANY thousands of profiles. That is just in my specific area, ONLY searching for members "with photos".
Regarding you getting ghosted... It sucks. We've all been there. I recommend updating your photos, and your profile info. You can also expand and update your searches to give you more results.

We are a Gay Couple in an open relationship apparently A Modern Dating Experience for Everyone does NOT include us. There is no facility to register a profile if you are a Gay Couple. A couple IS ONLY a man and a woman apparently!

I suggest you read the other reviews and note how they constantly stick up for their site The people who contact you get you to respond after a few messages the only people trying to get money out of you are Groupfun.com You need to buy coinage to spend on messages to send to people is it any wonder that all these bogus people are trying to get you to message them back to use up your messages to then buy more coins to enable you to send more messages, Its NOT a FREE site in fact it Could be very Costly....

Anyone that tries to take you away from our site or app, is obviously not associated with us, and is probably trying to sell you something.
It is a 24/7 battle to keep our community free of "bad actors". EVERY social media platform and free dating site/app has these same issues. Our constantly-evolving security measures catch the majority of them, before they can affect our community. We ask all members to please continue to report anything that seems sketchy.

Without knowing the screen names, I can't speak to this exact situation, but here's my hypothesis:
Someone created multiple accounts, looking for different member types (and they stretched some truths about their age).
Pls report them and we will get it sorted.

Due to the nature of our site, many active members use trading photos as a kind of, "legit-check." It makes sense, that if someone is not willing to trade photos, it can be a red flag that they are not serious.
Not everyone is like that, each person is unique and wants different things from online dating. I invite you to not get discouraged by users asking for photos, and do things your way. We have so many members, you'll find others who share your views.

For some context, a big legit site such as Groupfun, would never employ or endorse those kind of tactics, as it is counterproductive to the goals of maintaining and growing a healthy dating community. Many talented people have spent several years creating and working on Groupfun, making it a massive, extremely-active community. We would never jeopardize all of our hard work for something as trivial as gift cards.
What we have is a constant security battle, trying to allow everyone into our site for free, then weeding out anyone who doesn't follow the rules. We have updates planned, which will involve giving the community more tools to combat these types of things, as well as internal security updates.
Pls give us another shot, and report anything shady, so it can be immediately removed.
