Went to Folkestone garden centre and overall was great. Restaurant was very good food and reasonable prices. Stock in garden centre was very good, along with prices. I've marked centre down two points for the very basic toilets, that didn't look very clean!
Family run garden centre, nice to support a local business. Lots of plants to choose from and a lovely cafe too.
Also a nice shop inside.
A week after the garden centre at Swingfield Nr Folkestone opened during lockdown , I phoned as a self isolating over 70 local customer of many years. I was assured they would keep some of the things I needed and in about a week would have some more, and would ring me. They didn’t phone back. About 2 weeks later I contacted them. They apologised, again took my requirements and said would ring back. Never did. Then my attached neighbour received a delivery and she had only phoned a week earlier. I phoned again, and once again heard nothing. My Son then managed to go there and asked a lady for help. Her name was BERYL. She took his phone and showed me what they had got, virtually nothing at all. Next morning BERYL phoned me to say she had found a few things I might want. She put them aside and I paid by phone. Within half an hour I had these few things delivered !! A dreadful review for the centre, but a WONDERFUL one for a GREAT member of their staff , BERYL !! WELL DONE BERYL !!!
