Amazing experience

Past C1 on first attempt
Grateful for the help and professionalism given to me by my instructor, Mr Mobsby-Brown. Without his patience and knowledge I would not have achieve the C1 pass on my first attempt.

Amazing team and very knowledgeable
I had both Sean and Andy for my two lessons and they were lovely, patient and thorough. Within in two lessons I was able to drive a LGV confidently and clean up my manual technique. In two lessons I passed the test on the first go.
I would highly recommend this company everyone was welcoming and very knowledgeable.

Just passed my C1 first time with only 1 minor! After an intensive course of 2 days with GS Driver Training. Andy was a really relaxed and knowledgeable instructor and put me at ease with my test. What a legend! Highly recommended.

Class 2 HGV driver training
I did my Class 2 HGV with GS driver training. The learning material they provided for the theory and hazard perception tests was excellent. The driver training provided by instructors Helen and Ben over a 4 day period was exceptional,and I felt more than prepared for the practical test. It was evident that they had wealth of knowledge and experience between them.
Having the use of the airfield on your first day, to get comfortable with the size of the vehicle without the hazard of other road users was beneficial.
The owner of the company Gary accompanied me to the test centre the morning of my test, which says a great deal about how the company was run. The staff were happy and friendly, and the equipment was in good nick. I passed first time. 5 star experience all round.

Great fun and loads of driving time
My Dad and I both did the 60-minute HGV experience and, although it was difficult to tell whether we were in the right place when we first arrived, it was brilliant. Neither of us had any experience at all, but our instructors were friendly, relaxed and extremely helpful. The best part is that virtually the entire 60 minutes is spent driving non-stop, with various manoeuvres thrown in along the way. Great fun and highly recommended.

The instructors were very friendly and definitely helped me to relax while learning so that I made fewer mistakes by overthinking! They also picked up on my bad habits quickly and helped me to correct these in a constructive way. The admin who I booked with was also really helpful and quick with getting both my lessons and test booked in. Definitely recommend.

Class 2 practical test
Today I had my practical hgv class 2 with gs driver training. Ben gave me two hours of training before my test and it helped massively. He was very knowledgeable and a massive help. I failed my first test with another company. Ben made me feel very comfortable and gave me loads of advice. 10/10 would recommend going with this company to complete your whole hgv training course

Enjoyable experience
Hi, I had a Driver Experience in a DAF Artic earlier today. Ben was the supervisor/instructor who gave me really clear and precise instructions and remained calm throughout. I really enjoyed this driving experience and I’d really recommend this to anyone, particularly for those who like to cut in front of a travelling truck and those who like to brake check a 44 tonner. Maybe this should be part of driver awareness courses. Thank you

HGV Driving Experience
Enjoyed a fantastic HGV Driving Experience today. A chance to drive - with no previous lorry driving experience - a 45 ton capacity DAF articulated lorry. Clear instruction allowed me the chance to manoeuvre the vehicle in many different driving situations. It requires a lot of concentration.
Good value activity and it really made me wish I could do the formal training with GS Driver Training. Alas, I am retired, but maybe a return visit one day!

Keep on Trucking
Son and I got bought an experience day driving a HGV with GS Driver training. We both had a great time. The weather helped but we both enjoyed trucking around the airport like Rubber Duck in Convoy. Son doubly sure he wants to get into lorry driving now. Driving instructor was great, friendly, chilled and helpful.

Great from start to finish !
My instructor Ben was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease and gave me brilliant advice and training during my time doing the course, he adapted his approach to his training which best suited me, and it worked wonders which resulted in me passing first time, I will 100% recommend this driver training company to anyone who’s looking to get their HGV licence.

From start to finish I received support from GS training. I got a very helpful package with mock questions and hazard perception tests for the theory for my C classification. I was given clear direction, flexible dates for instruction and rapid responses to any questions I had.
