AVOID AT ALL COSTS - GSM Performance/ Sport Seats 4U - Jokers!

Avoid GSM Performance/ Sport Seats 4U

The main issue for me was the complete uncertainty surrounding an order.

The Ai that has been implemented to help Big Gareth & Little Cameron is hilarious! They make out they are busy when really all they are doing is buying fake Chinese remakes and selling as ‘genuine’ at a high markup, stay well away from these scam artists.

Honestly the worst company I have ever purchased with. They haven’t got a clue, the fact they will just expect you to sit out of pocket and stay silent is a joke!

Avoid avoid avoid! Use ClubSport Garage or other companies. Don’t use these guys because you think they have a good reputation. THEY DONT! It’s all Ai robot crap. And fake reviews across socials.

Bought some Takata harnesses from them…

Bought some Takata harnesses from them and the customer service was great from them. I have seen there have been some negative reviews about their communication but I didn't see this myself. I have also ordered an rx8 planted in bucket seat base which I hope goes all fine and proceeds as planned. So far I am a returning customer for sure!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON

Do not buy a seat from this person , orderd two seats one turned up no reply to messages in till getting ebay involved , then he makes you cancel the return and says il send a refund if you cancel the return knowing full well the buyer loses there chance of money back , absolute no no buying from him , ebay now involved and looking into him

Bad customer service on ebay products purchased

Sold me cobra nogaro seat mounts on ebay but they were badly packaged and arrived scratched and chipped. I was promised a refund but not given and now not replying to me on ebay messages. Also wrong colour decals sent not the ones in the description told no problem getting the correct one's when they arrived they were wrong Also had to pay the postage before i could get them delivered. Gave them the option to sort out before i gave this review but no reply poor service and won't use again

I don’t like giving poor reviews and I hope the owners take it as positive criticism. From the moment I entered my email address digital vomit came my way. These guys have gone for AI in a big way to the point where you just want to cancel your order. However, if you’re a robot you’ve found your store 👍

I had ordered size 9

I had ordered size 9. The gloves I received are size 8.  Seller have not respond to return and refund request. Bad company, bad customer service. Have issued charged back.

Incredibly poor customer service when needing to return products.

We wanted to buy our son seats for his MX5 Mk1 and went to the trouble of booking a fitting appointment for my son and his car. My son drove over 3hrs in his MX5 (each way) to ensure the seats he chose would fit his car.
After choosing one of their approved MX5 seats we were assured they had considerable experience ensuring these seats would fit in the car, despite my sons 6’4” height, finding a suitable driving position would not be an issue.
Seats were ordered and received and despite using every permutation of fitting using side brackets we were unable to move seats far enough back in the car or low enough to accommodate my son.
Alternative side mounts were sent which GSM again assured would allow us to get a better position, but ended up being worse!
Finally, once we exhausted every fitting option we were forced to give up.
Despite notifying GSM within 24hrs and repeatedly calling and emailing, they have so far refused to respond about returning and offering a refund.
We are incredibly disappointed by their level of after sales service and feel let down and miss sold the product we bought in good faith.

I WILL SEE THEM IN COURT!

They think they can win a case in court!

Shockingly bad service. Booked a track day at Nürburgring. Cost a fortune. Ignored emails then sent fake ones claiming the seats had been dispatched and then delivered. Long story short i ended up driving to a competitor 60 miles away in Manchester to pick up the only ONE they had left the day before i was due to leave for Germany. Countless excuses made.

I cancelled the order and the credit card company agreed with me and recovered my money.

I should be suing them!

I WILL UPDATE YOU WHEN THE CASE COMES TO COURT.

THEY LOST, I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible

Terrible , they claim In stock but really your waiting weeks , I ended up putting a claim in with PayPal to get my money back as they just ignore emails and the phone is just a recorded message, dunno if I would of eventually got the items or not , judging at other reviews probably not

Bought subframes for my car

Bought subframes for my car, that didnt fit. Had to sort myself in the end as GSM stopped communicating with me after asking for more money after I had ordered. Buyers beware !

Please go elsewhere…

I was just writing a lengthy review and deleted as I realised I may run out of room. In short, I would strongly advise anyone looking to purchase from GSM that they spend 5% more and purchase from a reputable dealer(tweeks/GPR etc). The service that Gareth and Cameron can(or cannot) offer is unfortunately very poor! Having spent a lot of money with them, I waited an incredibly long time to receive the goods with many excuses being given to me throughout…
They seem to portray an image of being a large stockist/dealer, yet unfortunately, cannot back this up with the service, product availability, knowledge or care.
Negative Facebook comments seem to be deleted immediately, google reviews seem to be flawed, so I thought it would be beneficial to warn anyone looking to part with their cash by sharing my experience. Do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere. I cannot understand how GSM is still running….

Absolutely Disgusting Company

Please avoid at all costs, before ordering seats i asked what I needed to fit so ordered it all. Then got emailed stating order was on hold due to colour of seats, then they took payment for fittings for 2 seats but only sent one seat out. Took 2 months to get refund thank you EBay

BEWARE SCAM COMPANY

BEWARE SCAM COMPANY: dodge yourself a bullet and give this company a wide berth. Its been 2 months of evasion and not responding to email queries about my order and i have now given up.

GSM failed to fulfill my order which included Recaro seat rails. After placing my order in person at their premises on the 12th August, its taken nearly 2 months of not responding to emails and evasion about the whereabouts of my goods before they finally come out with a fabricated statement and accuse me of leaving with the item from their premises.

They owe me £186 pounds in unfulfilled goods which i now realise they never intended to honour. Despite multiple emails, a witness statement from a friend who was with me on the day of my appointment and no way to substantiate their claims this the end result.

Even before they eventually scammed me the customer service form this company was and has been the worst ive ever had to suffer through with weeks between communication from them, no tracking details given for your order and made to feel that you are at fault throughout the process.

It seems they only work part time and they don't answer their phone, its just a selection of different options for an answer machine.

GSM Performance are an absolute disgrace. Would have give 0 stars if it was possible and truly hope no one has to suffer through the same experience I've had with this business.

Dodge yourself a bullet and buy from a reputable business, they're not worth the headache or, in my case, being £100's out of pocket.

Absolutely abysmal customer service

Absolutely abysmal customer service. I am still waiting for a seat-based. This is after one month. No response from Garreth - emails ignored and phone call just on answerphone. I'm about to request a chargeback on this item. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Having ordered seat bases from these guys, I received an acknowledgment of my order and a message to say the order status would be updated as soon they sorted my order. One week later and no update. Sent them an email to find out what was happening and received a reply stating the kids were on Holliday so they were spending time with them and they would replay when they have time. Another week and no reply so sent another email and same reply. I’ve now asked for a refund as unfortunately I can’t wait for the school holidays to end. To date I’ve had no acknowledgment of my request for a refund. Didn’t realise this business was run only when the schools are open. Customer service is none existent. Stay away from this company.

Customer service is abysmal

Customer service is abysmal. Only thing saving a 1 star is the quick refund.

Once you place an order with GSM, expect a lot of emails telling you about how they deal with loads of distributors and hand check all orders for quality before sending, which sounds good, but the more you read the more it sounds like they hold no stock at all and are making excuses for the time it will take to source and ship your product. Which is exactly the case!
If like me you receive these emails but phone them just to ask for a very rough ETA for your order (because you never receive one), then expect a response like, "could be 24 hours, or it could be 3 months". That ridiculously unhelpful response coupled with the bluntness and down right rudeness of whoever it was I was talking to (Gareth or Cameron) made me feel like it was my fault for asking a very simple question. They even said I called too soon, when in fact they'd had my order for hours!

Ultimately, my experience has resulted in this review! I don't usually leave negative reviews for SME's, but my advice to those who come across GSM would be to think twice before ordering from them, unless you call to check lead times first.

On a side note - their competitor, Demon Tweeks, managed to ship the same products (I ordered from GSM) on the same day, and deliver them within 24 hours! I got order tracking details and an ETA during the process too. Now that's service gents!

Fantastic experience ordering with GSM Performance. Garreth was super friendly & helpful running through all my questions and to offer me advice on the best options. My order was shipped out next day, was well packaged and arrived quickly, each step along the way I got regular updates. 5* seller, highly recommended
