MIXED.....

It's a shame that it seems this company still haven't sorted its admin issues. Like many of the reviews here, my experience of obtaining the retainers was pretty awful. Receiving only one mold, then not receiving the guards, to then receiving only one etc etc. Had to threaten with trading standards. Finally got it all resolved with the help of Will, who yes does have a very pleasant, positive manner BUT the process was atrocious. BUT BIG BUT....the actual product has been used by my son practically daily. So credit where credit is due....the product itself is EXCELLENT and great value for money. They just need to get their act together and they would receive first class reviews.

Late delivery and poor customer service

I had my night guard impression posted on the 13th August. By the 31st Aug I still hadn’t received my night guard (passed their 10-working day turnover promise). Emailed them on the 31st Aug to ask where it is, Will replied on 1st Sep saying “I will check this morning and get back to you”. I waited a whole week with no reply. I asked Will again on the 9th Sep, he replied: “ We don’t appear to have received it.
I can only assume it has been lost in the post.
I will wait for Monday post, if nothing appears I will send another kit out to you.”
Miraculously on said Monday my night guard arrived. Which left me confused as Will said they hadn’t received my impression. In all seriousness they probably forgot to post my night guard until I enquired.
In summary, sent my impression on 13th Aug, got my night guard on 12th Sep.
I like to support small businesses too but you have to at least get the basics right…

Atrocious - avoid!

I ordered an upper and lower set and received my impression kit extremely quickly, but with no instructions. I did my best to take impressions using a video Guardian Pro uploaded to YouTube. I was convinced I had done one incorrectly and enclosed a note when I posted the impressions back asking for further advice and clarification. I received no response to this, nor to several emails over the space of two weeks. Now they have sent me one (badly fitting) lower retainer, and no upper retainer at all, again with no information. Do not use this company - don't be lured in by the low price as I was!

Go elsewhere!!

I received my package in the post for my moulds. It took 3 days for them to arrive. The process of completing the moulds was easy and I sent it off using the prepaid envelope. However, it has been 7 days since I posted my moulds and I am yet to receive any confirmation that they have been received. I have called the office numerous times and get cut off. I have also sent numerous emails and have yet to get a response. I thought this process would be easy and quicker than getting an appointment with my dentist. I would advise to think about going through this company. Now the likelihood of me getting a refund is highly unlikely as they do not answer/respond to you.

such great value for money

such great value for money! i got the top and bottom retainer with the 10 day turnaround - the mould is super easy to use and they came perfectly on time. the retainers feel like great quality, potentially better than ones you’d get through an orthodontics. 10/10 ⭐️

Excellent retainers and good service!

I was a bit weary of buying these retainers after seeing the recent Trustpilot reviews, however decided to choose GuardianPro as they are a family run business and were the cheapest on the market. The moulds took about a week to come, however this was the Christmas period. The instructions were easy to follow and I received the moulds within 2 weeks of sending them back. Overall, the process took a little longer than I’d originally hoped but this was over the Christmas and New Year period with lots of bank holidays, so completely understandable! I was slightly concerned that I had messed up the moulds, but the retainers fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend Guardian Pro and would buy again!

ok... not happy with my retainers

I ordered from this company in December. The ordering process was smooth. I got my moulds followed the instructions sent them and got my retainers in 2 weeks.

The issue was when I put my retainers on. They’re so thick that I couldn’t shut my jaw. My mouth was basically open like a crocodile. I can’t even speak with them in. Kinda feel like thick mouthguards. I have sent multiple emails and no one has gotten back to me. Will was nice and responsive during the ordering process but now that I’ve gotten these thick retainers and loose bottom trays… radio silent. Idk what to do.

Brilliant service, deserves 5 stars

I am very impressed. I received my impression kit immediately the next day, I sent it off and received my retainers after 10 days as promised. Thank you so much for your service, my orthodontist wanted to charge me £300 for two retainers but to this company I paid only £71.50 for two retainers. These retainers are the same material as my old ones. They are comfortable to wear and fit perfectly, I am really grateful to everyone at Guardian Pro. You are all really great people and I genuinely can’t thank you enough. Best of luck.

Do not order from this company.

Ordered and paid for 2 sets of upper and lower retainers and they only sent me 1 set. No response to multiple emails that I sent (despite them having over a month to reply to the first one). Out of pocket £65. Do NOT order from this company.

Fantastic and exemplary service, cannot recommend enough!

Not sure all these other bad reviews are about, but I had a fantastic experience.
I ordered dental retainers from Guardian Pro. They were lightning fast to post the impression kit. Anytime I called they were super responsive and helpful. Everything was sent by first class royal mail and I never had to pay to send them my impressions either. The final product was excellent and they fit perfectly. I can't recommend this company! They are offering the same orthodontic retainers for a much lower price than the rip off dentists. Thank you so much again!

I sent my impression kit back (after finding my original retainers an realising I no longer needed it) over 2 months ago and was told I was allowed to do this and I would receive a refund and I have been owed a refund wroth £70 since then and I have emailed countless times but keep getting ignored.

I ordered upper and lower retainers as…

I ordered upper and lower retainers as replacements for ones that had broken. The pack arrived quickly and I completed the moulds and returned. When they arrived the upper retainer was ok on one side but the other side didn’t cover my teeth. The lower retainer didn’t fit at all.
I emailed the company of 22nd September and heard nothing. As I’d had an email from Will asking to leave a review I decided to contact him to be told they were very busy.
I’ve now waited until 19th October and still not heard anything so here’s my review.
I’m so disappointed that I’ve wasted nearly 3 months on this company and will now need to pay even more money to get my teeth adjusted again.
Retainers are so important to keep teeth in the place they’ve moved to and if this company is too busy to provide the service you pay for them they need to stop or employ more people.
I would not recommend this company at all.

Avoid!!!

I returned my moulds over 3 months ago and still no retainers. I've sent 4 Facebook messages and 6 emails chasing them. Prior to my order my emails were responded to, now that I've paid and returned my moulds-nothing. Will now have to take this up with the bank. I did email prior to leaving poor feedback to allow sufficient time for Will to get back to me. Over £70 down the drain. Avoid!!!

I ordered retainers from this company on the 20th August and the impression kit took a while to come despite paying £6.50 for first class postage. I managed to send the impression kit back just before the August bank holiday but by the 11th September, I still hadn't received the retainers and had to send them a email to chase them up.

When I had finally received the retainers, it was to find that it didn't fit. I emailed the company again on the 19th September informing them of this and received an automated email back stating that they were busy until Monday 20th September. I have tried to be patient but it is now 4 October and I still have not received a reply.

Considering I bought these retainers to replace the ones I had lost from back in August, my teeth have definitely shifted and I will probably need to pay more money to have work redone to get my teeth back into position.

If this company doesn't have the capacity to fulfil orders because they are so busy, then they should at the very least inform and refund their customers so that they can go elsewhere. It's completely unprofessional to leave customers waiting around - being that they work in the dental industry, they should know that it is vital for customers wear their retainers regularly to prevent their teeth from shifting, but this company has no qualms about leaving people without retainers for months on end.

Do not purchase any dental products from this company - it may seem cheaper than other options but not only am I now £65 out of pocket, I am potentially having to pay out even more money to fix my teeth.

45 days later

Really disappointed in the service. I placed my order 45 days ago on the 14th of august and I haven’t even received the impression kits yet. I’ve been fobbed off with automated emails and excuses. On the 4th of September Will promised that the order would be out on Monday the 6th, it wasn’t. On the 9th of September will told me he would be out of office until the 20th of September so I would have to ‘bear with’. It’s now the 28th of September and I’ve heard nothing and received nothing. My teeth have moved to the point where I am probably going to need to pay for orthodontic treatment again! What an exciting and not at all bank breaking prospect!

Don’t bother. Pay your orthodontist for the service, at least you know it will actually get done.

Don't be fooled by the extremely competitive price they offer, I've never got my retainer...

The impression kit is of poor quality and instructions are unclear. I needed an urgent replacement and fell for the "10 working days" disclaimer. Sent my sample four weeks ago and haven't heard back. Turned to a competitor instead as soon as I realised how unreliable GuardianPro is, and received the retainers in less than two weeks overall turnaround (which much better impression kit).

Trying to get hold of them is a nightmare. To receive an automated bounce back email to contact just ONE person for queries/suppott in 2021 is just poor.

He dealt with our mistakes

I never want to diminish other reviewers experiences but our experience of Will has been 100% positive.
Honestly in all the time I’ve purchased goods online, I can’t recall having created so much chaos for a supplier, none was intentional but really we were a nightmare( hopefully always polite but a nightmare no less)
Will did everything to assist and was positive, polite and really helpful.
