Our organization booked a Seafair cruise for July 31with a carrier that experienced mechanical failure the day before the cruise. We were able to re-book on the Olympic Star for a Seafair Cruise. The trip was confirmed. Guide Point was also booked on the cruise and they agreed that our group could join them on the cruise since there was more than enough room. Many of our group traveled to Seattle for the event, some from the east coast. While we were all standing on the dock waiting to board, the Captain informed our group that Guide Point had changed their mind and did not want us to board the boat. The Captain had the authority to do the right thing and honor the agreement that was made but lacked the intestinal fortitude to do the honorable thing. Guide Point Leadership did the unconscionable thing by leaving 40 people stranded on the dock even though the boat could hold many more people than both groups. I guess Guide Point's motto of "Better Together" is nothing more than blowing smoke up the back sides of others. If Michael Volk or Scott Rachford made this decision, they should be ashamed of themselves. If they did not, they should fire those who did. I would never do business with this company nor recommend them to anybody because it seems they are not interested in honoring their commitments.

Guidepoint attracts interesting projects and clients due to their global presence. Their platform has automation on projects, payments, scheduling. They have an expert portal to help manage the projects.
