Title: Avoid Guidepoint — They Cancel, Waste Your Time, and Hide Behind Fake Policies they themselves dont follow consistently

Guidepoint cancelled my consultation and then refused to compensate me, claiming they “only pay if cancellation is within one hour.” Convenient. They cancel on short notice (almost 2 hr hehehehe) , then deny payment because it wasn’t short enough.

This is a company that wants free labor, free prep, and free availability — and when they break the appointment, they pretend their hands are tied. It’s dishonest, unprofessional, and absolutely unacceptable in 2026.

If you value your time, avoid Guidepoint.

Our policy is typically that we can provide compensation if the consultation is cancelled within one hour of the start time. Given there was almost 2 hours notice, I am not able to send out an invoice on my end.
