lifetime membership isn't lifetime

I paid for a lifetime membership, and it work great for a while, now when I go online it tells me it has expired. I have emailed them a dozen times and there is no response, when I called, I get India, and they want to give $100.00 for the inconvenience, but won't fix the problem. I just need to give them my banking info. Sounds like they may have gotten hacked or something. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!.

Courses Not Available Depite Payment, No Customer Service

I bought a course. It was good. I bought another course. It was good. So I paid for the "Guitar Coaching Club & Lifetime Subscription." As new courses were released, I got access to them at no additional charge. And then I didn't. There are at least a dozen courses I cannot access. I've tried repeatedly to get this resolved via the contact form on the GuitarJamz website and via email (customer_support AT guitarjamz.com), but they ignore me completely (other than sending me spam email offering to sell me a lifetime subscription).

Spam campaign for a scam offer

The spam campaign in itself should give a hint.
I received a first sequence of emails: "This is for you: Unlimited Guitar Lessons", "YES, it's TRUE: You get EVERYTHING. Unlimited Guitar Lessons for LIFE", "LAST CHANCE: Grab Unlimited Guitar Lessons for LIFE" and "FINAL HOURS: We're saying goodbye ...".
This just applies the usual tricks to make you click: make you think you (as the chosen one) can benefit of this incredible offer because of my "continued support", and then makes you believe that you have to hurry because the offer is limited.
But since the beginning of July 2024 I already received 5 series of those mails. So, first of all I never supported them, and when an offer is so incredible and limited, you don't try to sell it 5 times in a row.
So my advice, don't let yourself be fooled by those scammers!

Lots of Spam

I keep getting Spam from GuitarJamz. I have clicked the unsubscribe link many times. Sometimes it doesn't work, other times it opens up a page saying that I have unsubscribed but the spam keeps coming. Funnily enough, the links to buy their stuff work fine.

Money Back Scam

Do not purchase any course through Guitar Jamz. Their Money back guarantee is a hoax. Many people have complained about the same problem. They purchase a course based on the 365 Money Back Guarantee and when they request a refund for whatever reason they are ghosted. No response. After several attempts myself I have experienced the same thing. Guitar Jamz money back offer is a scam. Don't fall for it. There are many credible courses out there but this isn't one of them. Buyer beware!

Buyer Beware

I bought a few of their courses and then opted for the lifetime membership. I have access to a large number of lessons but not "every lesson" as was promised. Hendrix Masterclass as an example. I emailed several times and left a couple voice messages as well. Not a peep! Very disappointing! Especially since I've grown to like Brett Papa and assumed he was a reputable dude. In fact I get general emails from him asking me to sign up... WTH, I am already signed up.
Sadly I no longer have any confidence in this brand. I am also wary of any of the other "Lifetime" memberships sites. No Guarantee that they will be around long term and they've already got your money.
Really a shame!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

There are lessons that were supposed to be able to download and will not. I have tried several time to answer my emails with NO LUCK. The dates would be for the last few MONTHS. I would agree with the reviews that said they are NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY.

Broken Promises

In December of 2014, Guitar Jamz offered me their entire catalog of courses for $400 for what was called the Coaching Club. They promised access to all present and future courses. The site was dead for a while. Then they got Brett Papa (Patastache) involved. Now their new courses are locked out for me. It is easy to see why Marty Schwartz parted ways with them. It is disappointing to see that such a site could be so shady in their dealings. Avoid dealing with them.

Good, comprehensive, fun

I've been a life member for several months, working my way through the blues and acoustic modules. Well structured, has taken my playing to another level. If I want to learn a articular song, Marty has plenty of separate, free lessons on YouTube (mastered Nothing Else Matters recently).
4* as most lessons are online versions of old DVDs so not very interactive, no tabs etc.
Had one contact with Support, issue quickly resolved.

How the mighty have fallen

I have purchased a number of dvd courses and liked them. Purchased some online as well and was happy. Now they have gone down hill. Purchased an online and never got it. No response from customer service. Got an email for. Special deal but the site has a much higher price when you go to purchase. Quality has fallen dramatically- shame they were one of the best
