The return process is extremely unsatisfactory. I do not recommend this company to prospective buyers. The organization appears to be rationalizing the delays by attributing the lack of responsiveness to FedEx. Additionally, the staff members demonstrate unprofessional behavior and exhibit a significant deficiency in communication skills.

Terrible and very disappointing when the cost of customs is more than the cost of the item that was sold. Your customer service, dismissed this issue stating that your company is not responsible for custom duties. 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Still no resolution.
After months of zero transparency, false information, and an incorrect bill, nothing has changed.
A single order was split into 29 payments and shipped in over 20 separate parcels across a full month — and yet, no clear communication, no accountability, no support.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
I can only advise: avoid supporting a company that treats its customers this way.

Fits great, looks great, feels great. Very happy with the Gutteridge quality and I'm happy with my Purchase.

The worst customer service imaginable.

I bought 3 pairs of trousers. They delivered 2 of them. The third was recorded as being included but was missing. The package was undamaged. Also included in the package was someone else’s shipping note - the warehouse clearly messed up.

Three weeks of back and forth via their wattsapp chat (and having to repeat my issue every day because they can’t scroll up to see previous conversation (arggghhh)) and they have concluded ‘after checking with their warehouse team’ that my order was packaged correctly and therefore I am lying. Aside from the fact that implying the customer is lying is a unique approach to customer service, they have offered no evidence to support why they are taking the warehouse’s word over mine, and ignoring the photo I have sent of someone else’s packing list which quite clearly shows the warehouse didn’t ’prepare the package correctly’.

Thankfully I used Klarna so have raised a dispute and paused payments.

If on reading this and other similar reviews you are foolish enough to order from Gutteridge, I suggest you pay with credit card or some other payment method that gives you some protection. Because if you have a problem Gutteridge will be worse than useless.

A truly terrible company.

I recently purchased a jacket from GUTTERIDGE 1878, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The quality of the jacket is outstanding — well-crafted with attention to detail. The price was very reasonable for the level of quality, and the delivery was prompt and efficient. Everything from the product to the service exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

I order 2 pants size 58 and I reserved 1 size 58 and the other size 60.
After that I payed extra money to repair.

If we cannot go to Italy we buy Gutteridge online, easy ordering payment and delivery. And almost forgot nice clothings.

UK BUYERS BEWARE! They make no obvious reference to it but this is an italian based company and you will be slapped with huge import duties. I bought a £200 coat in the sale and was told I owe £150+, making the coat effectively £350?!
Customer service is ridiculously slow and they dont really understand english.

I placed an order with Gutteridge, but they shipped it in multiple small packages, losing one in the process. Despite nearly five months of emails, they have ignored my refund request. Even after pointing out that it's unlawful to deduct return fees from a refund when the package was never delivered, they refuse to pay back any money.

The designs are nice, the quality is disappointing—after just a few washes, the clothes feel no better than H&M. Definitely not worth the risk.

They send items in torn paper bags that have been shipped and returned a thousand times, with no protective packaging, no tags, used, and, in my case, even missing buttons.

An absolute disaster in quality control and customer service. Do they really think that charging €15 for a return is going to intimidate customers?

I filed a claim through VISA, got my money back, and kept the item. Maybe this will teach them not to be such shameless scammers.

Literally the hardest returns process I've ever gone through. Avoid at all costs.

I like the price-value and the clothes and placed a big order above 1.000 Euro.

I wanted to return w/in the 30 day return policy. I had technical issues - there simple was no return bottom. Contacted customer service, that told me I was doing something wrong - but didn't help me fixing it. Some days passed (w/out further response upon my emails asking for support) and then I was told the 30 days are now over, you cannot return anymore ("and it was your fault") ... I can't believe that. I've never experienced something like that. :-(

Great value in this store for mens clothing. Having bought a few items on a previous visit to Florence, I decided to fly from London to Milan for the day to update my wardrobe. I had a fabulous experience in the shop with great customer service.
I might make it an annual trip.

Overpriced clothing. Bad customer service. See how Gutteridge responded to all the positive reviews on here - while completely ignoring all the negative reviews? That shows you they clearly don’t care if your ordering is experience is bad.

EDIT. I did contact you. Like everybody else here I found out that your customer care service doesn’t care about customers. Insisted I pay €30 to send back an item that was received damaged.

The delivery service was very fast and the item arrived as expected in good condition and of expected quality. The item is very good and very nice to wear. I recommend the site for on-line shopping. I buy at Gutteridge and their items are of good quality at appropriate price and of value for user.

I definitely recommend you to stay away. I shopped during the free delivery campaign. The UPS company they work with sent an e-mail stating that they left the product at the pickup point, but it turned out that the product was returned to the sender without being left at the pickup point. Although the company stated that they would make a full refund, they deducted the shipping fee from me due to the cargo company's mistake, even though it is illegal according to the tax law (Because there was no shipping cost item on my invoice). If you go to the store and shop, you can do it, but I recommend that you stay away from online. The online part is very bad, you never know what you're going to encounter.
