Terrible company

I purchased a multi-hip from this gym pros and they sent me a different unit then the one I ordered. Then they wouldn’t return the equipment and refused to refund the money after months of giving me the run around. This company is terrible please be aware.

Average experience

The treadmill I received is working fine, but the delivery process was confusing and I had to follow up several times to get tracking info. Prices are fair, but customer service response could be faster.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered an arc trainer and it arrived with broken pieces with non-working elctronics. I called and was told by Brie in customer service to send pictures of the broken parts and that the warehouse would send them to me. While some of the exterior parts "may" have been broken in transit that doesn't account for the snapped wire causing the electronics failure. After MONTHS (close to a year) of chasing them down, both Brie and the warehouse manager, I threatened legal action for not honoring the warranty. It was at this time that the warehouse manager informed me that since the item arrived broken that I was supposed to have filed a claim with the shipping company. Complete 180 of the guidance given by both him and Brie. Of course by this time the shipping company would do nothing for me because on their end it had been too long to make a claim. I explained this to customer service, Brie, warehouse manager and even escalated to the owner and expressed that had they told me to file with shipping company to begin with instead of promising me new parts and ghosting me that I would have done what was supposed to be done. The owner told me that even though I was not advised to make a claim with the shipping company and their own customer service promised to send parts that they were standing by their word of it being the problem of the shipping company.
TLDR, misdirected by customer service so long that shipping company was no longer an option for a claim leaving them off the hook (in their mind) for sending me broken equipment and not giving proper direction for recourse.
Years later I'm still paying for a machine that's in pieces. After taking care to buy the best warranty available. Deceptive is an understatement for their business practice and customer service. From what I can tell, this same issue has happened with dozens of other customers, meaning this isn't one fringe case, this is their standard operating procedure.

Shipper Harassing me For unpaid shipping expenses

I bought a Cybex Trainer from them last January. I have been harassed by the shipper, The Custom Companies, who told me that they have not been paid by them for shipping that trainer to me. I paid $495.00 to have it shipped to me. This is unethical and fraudulent. I would not do business with this company again.

STAY AWAY FROM GYM PROS!

If I could, I would give zero stars. Purchased a Cybex Arc Trainer which arrived damaged. i was promised by Roy Crocker that the issue would be resolved in 2-3 weeks and it was not. Emailed one month later to be told it would be solved in a week and it was not. Emailed again in a month with no response. Called customer service twice with no resolution. Filed a BBB complaint with pictures and emails. DO NOT BUY FROM GYM PROS. SCAMMERS.

June 2023 DO NOT BUY !!

June 2023 I purchased eight treadmill’s that were supposed to be less than three years old. I was informed by the company that I would receive the treadmills within two weeks after constant harassing of them. I finally got somebody on the phone to discuss this because they did not answer my emails or phone calls. They never return my phone calls they never return. My email is not a single one. when they finally got back to me, they told me that the treadmill’s would be delivered within a week. They still did not arrive until August 4 and they came in to separate shipments and they were broken and one treadmill was even missing.. they have not repaired any of the broken parts on the treadmill’s that arrived broken and they have not upgraded the tuner boards of the machines that we’re supposedly less than three years old. They were nine years old and outdated. they have done nothing to help me out with this and it has been several months and the treadmills are still not usable. don’t make the mistake I made do not use this company at all. They lie, and they are shady. I now have to get a lawyer to fight with them so that I can get my treadmill’s to actually work. it is now October 3 and my treadmills are still not functioning.

Seem unconcerned with Customer Satisfaction.

While I paid for and recieved a Life Fitness t95i treadmill refurbished, the splotchy silverish paint job i could have done without. It came without the cupholders too, which I immediately replied to them about and heard nothing. Then the aftersales department reached out to me and I asked for my cupholders again and never heard from them. Not reputable in my opinion.

Think twice before buying from GymPros.

My experience with GymPros was disapointing and I would recommend that anyone considering buying from GymPros consider it carefully, I finally got the product (a treadmill) but it was a long and arduous process. When it finally arrived, it worked ok, but wasn't quit right - fastners were missing and a panel was not attached. I also ordered a Mat with it that has never been delivered. My biggest disappointment with GymPros is the non-responsivness of their Customer Service Department. There is no service - they don't response to email and voice responses are not acurate. It has been months and I am still waiting for a refund on the mat that was ordered and not deliveres.

Seems shady, would not trust them. Seem to lie.

Was told in chat on their website I'd receive a big discount on equipment, spent a week back and forth with multiple sales folks to receive a full price quote. Seems shady and I would not trust this business. Feel like they lied to me to get my contact info and tried to trick me into a purchase.

If you can afford throw away over $3,000......

I would give negative stars if I could. Paid $3,690 for a HCI Phisiostep physical therapy machine - delivered in an undamaged box. This machine can withstand a 500 pound person using it but my machine was damaged clearly before boxing. I contacted GymPros and they refused to help me AND they refused to accept a return even though it was not usable. Filed with FTC, States Attorney and now my only option is filing a case in small claims court.

HCI Fitness has been jerking me around since it was delivered. Purchase: Nov 15, 2022. Arrived in about 3 weeks. Have really bad low back pain on the right since the seat and rail were replaced. It is so bad that I have to take muscle relaxers for days after using it. Sent pictures and video.

I have used the same machine in physical therapy and it was not clunking and banging and sounding like something cracking when I used it. Mine does all of that. In PT, the seat was not rocking like mine does.

I have been asking for my money back since December.

As a consumer, we are supposed to be protected from this negligent behavior. I find it unethical to package up a machine like this with OBVIOUS serious damage and ship it to someone. Even more so when they refuse to replace it or refund the customer/victim.

HCI and GymPros are liable. I believe they are highly unethical and untrustworthy.

Thieves and liars

I bought a Gympros Universal gym. My sales person said they would deliver and install. After my purchase I received an email saying they would not deliver in my house or install and they would drop it on the curb. I emailed and called and left messages that I needed to cancel my order. They did not respond and shipped it anyway. I disputed the charge with my bank. Gympros lied and said I received the merchandise which is false so my bank will not give me a refund. Gympros' has my $3895.00 and the gym equipment. They are unprofessional and thieves.

Do NOT buy from Gym Pros “…

Roy Crocker sold me a “refurbished “ “lightly used” Stairmaster Gauntlet 3/20. I bought over the phone at the beginning of Covid which I realize know was a stupid idea. I obviously was sold a lie. I have had nothing but service issues with my Stairmaster and Gym Pros dodges their end of the deal. Don’t do business with this company! I definitely feel like I was had by the used car salesman of the fitness industry.

Real Review vs. the false 5 Star reviews written by who are most likely staff..

If I could do ZERO stars, I would. What follows is just like all the other Negative reviews, nothing new, Old Roy Crocker has been doing the bait and switch, lies, since his days at Xcelleration Fitness, What a Joke, yet folks like us unfortunately keep falling for it…. Talk about a company that has no ethics, morals, and is just a company that wants to lie and screw it's customers, then that's Roy Crocker's "Gym Pros" If they would spend more time Delivering the RIGHT Model Product, Which Worked, Was Remanufactured like purchased, Delivered On time, and followed up with Quality Customer Service, vs. Spending having the same folks, probably Brie, Jessie, and Doug, but who knows what other folks they could have do it, write false reviews, or post reviews from Law Services put on their site, they may be OK. But then it wouldn't be "Gym Pros". You cannot make this stuff up! But then, again, that wouldn't be "Gym Pros". 8-30-22 when screen captured of "new" reviews. Do what you can, DON'T USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!! An Unfortunate Vet, who didn't do his homework well.. Checkout the 'F' Rating on BBB for this Company.. Oh wait, "Gym Pros" claim on their site something else... #DontMessWithAVet

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! If I could choose -10 stars for this review I would. I’m still dealing with GymPros as of today. I ordered my equipment in November 2021, and I still don’t have everything as of June 2022. This is by far the worst experience ever. I highly recommend not using this company at all cost. I have made multiple phone calls to the company and the customer service is extremely horrible. I’ve called another company, placed my order, and had everything that I needed within two weeks. I truly feel bad for the workers that have to answer the phones because they don’t have answers and they keep on making up stuff to make us, the consumer, highly frustrated. I highly recommend doing your homework prior to giving his company any money whatsoever. They really don’t care about their clients, they should go back into the commercial space and stay far away from the retail space because there are awful at it. They sent me used weights for a new machine because the weights were on back order. They originally shipped a $7k smith machine out to me with no weights. I called multiple times for them to tell me it’s on back order. My question was why would you send a machine out without the most important part? They had no answer for me, and told me they would ship the weights out. I received the weights about four weeks after and they look like they’ve been sitting in a junkyard for years. There was also a lot of missing parts that were not included in the initial shipment. They did ship those out after many phone calls. I am still awaiting a treadmill that I asked for a refund on. You would think that would be a simple request but they said they would have to charge me 30% stocking fee and delivery fees. Again this is the most frustrating experience I’ve had bar none. Put it this way it was a Christmas present for my 3 kids, it may be ready by this Christmas!! It would be more satisfying to burn over $9000 rather than give them a penny. Never again!!!
