The same as others Scam

The same as others. The bottle does not resemble the one advertised, no branding and no escape valve on bottom for Chlorine to escape. Bottle produces Chlorine water which is hazardous to health. Sent many emails which were responded too at the beginning with advice and help. However, after the second time of asking for a refund, I was emailed by David? Stating he had actioned the 100% refund immediately. So 7 days later, still no refund, will be going to bank (fraud dep.), consumer protection, other agencies and last but not least, posting all over social media this scam company if I do not receive my refund by the 22 April!

Do not order from this company

Oh dear. Wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered. Info says despatched on 7th April but Royal Mail hasn’t received it and H2 not replying to my email. I ordered 2 units as well so it’s a costly scam.

if you want hydrogenated water available at the push of a button, here it is.

When the package arrived, one unit was broken. There is clearly some disconnect between the production facility and the entrepreneur, but once that was overcome, I received a full refund for the broken unit. I am now happily using the working unit. There may be some glitches in the company comms (if the instruction book is anything to go by, I'd say there is something of a language barrier!) but if you want hydrogenated water available at the push of a button, here it is. Haven't used it long enough to know if the hype has any basis, but watching the process take place is soothing in itself ;)

DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM PRODUCT!

DO NOT BUY THIS SCAM PRODUCT!! The hydrogen process lasted 2 mins not 5. I used mineral water as I hate the taste of tap water and honestly it’s as if this device turned it back into tap water as I could taste chlorine??
Another issue not stated at point of purchase is you have to drink the water within 15-30 mins to achieve its claimed health benefits if there are actually any at all? Having researched more fully it appears the products claims are rather wild 🙈 Note to self check ‘Trusted Reviews’ first 😉

If I could it would be zero stars.

Update - eventually I received communucation from 'David' but I had already submitted dispute to my bank. H2Guardian refunded my transaction and the dispute was cancelled with the bank.
If I could it would be zero stars.
I ordered one of their water bottles on Weds after reading the very good article. Within an hour I knew I had made a mistake. I e mailed immediately to cancel the order quoting British Trading 14 day cooling off period. No response. Wrote again on Thursday again no response. The money was taken from my account on Thurs. Wrote again on Friday. No response.
Over the weekend they sent an e mail updating my delivery completely, ignoring my communication. I have now reported this to the bank.
The worst thing is these people prey on people who are trying to find ways to improve their health.

Looked great when it arrived, but . . .

Looked great when it arrived. Well packed. Liked the glass bottle. However, manual is written in miniscule font. Needs a magnifying glass to read.

Primed and charged it as instructed. Supposed to run for 5 mins with no air, oxygen or ozone etc getting into the water. Well. Stops after just less than 3 minutes (tried it four times) and big air bubbles produced and rising through the water. The 'hydrogen' bubbles are also miniscule, hazy, weak and just float aorund. My other hydrogen bottle - they're good strong bubbles and rise strongly to the top of the water - in a straight line, for a full 5 minutes. The H2Guardian is bascially rubbish and much less effective than my other bottle. Dismayed (but grateful) to read here the problems with returning. Another scam learning . . :(

Further comment: On trying to get their contact details, turns out the company shipping it (Max Forot Ltd, incorporated July 2025) is owned by an Italian, Massimiliano Rinaldi, who is resident in Italy! No mention of "David Thornton" the supposed designer of the H2 bottle. And, as someone said, the mobile number is never picked up. And there are two email addresses: (not allowed to print them here, but one is info and the other is for Massimiliano at MaxForotltd (~on the H2Gurdian website). So many red flags for a scam.

A scam

A scam. Was sucked into placing an order after reading the info on fb. Turns out that's probably fabricated and the magazine quoted doesn't exist. I realised immediately that I'd made a mistake. I emailed straight away to cancel my order, and several times the next day, and tried contacting via the mobile number given. The company address looks like it's a virtual one. Have heard nothing. Meanwhile I'm sent emails which suggest the unwanted product is on its way. Terribly frustrating.
If you're thinking of buying from this "company", think again.

I read all about this bottle of how it…

I read all about this bottle of how it would benefit me by drinking healthier water and believing it was a good investment, ordered it. Firstly, it didn't arrive within the 48hrs tracked postage as stated.
I was offered a discount.
When it did arrive, I followed the instructions carefully and watched and waited.....nothing happened.
I emailed, a reply came offering a discount, with instructions of how to rectify the problem ( putting warm water in leaving 4-6 hours) still nothing happened
Again, I emailed requesting a full refund.
I wanted to return the item.
The reply was another discount, this time 70% but did not want me to return
it.
Eventually I have accepted this, as I didn't believe I would ever get a full refund. I am left with a totally useless product.
Don't be taken in!

Two defective bottles received

Two defective bottles received. Different issues. One leaks the other stops working within 30 days. There are no plugs only cables but the description depicts a plug. I've emailed and unsuccessfully called. No response.

Eventually received 2 damaged bottles in poor packaging-aperture doesn't work with supplied cable. Returned same day as received(at cost of over£5.00) asking for refund..Nothing received. No refund as it's "a clinical product".. Am in contact with my bank. Definitely a scam, buyer beware

The refund policy is a scam.....as is the whole thing in my opinion. I feel scammed

Ditto previous reviews....I bought into the spiel and as I ordered it I got cold feet and swear blind I hit the back button to halt payment but the product arrived, cheaply packed. Should have looked up Trustpilot first...my big mistake. It arrived in cheap packaging and the instructions so technical that I had no idea where to start to use it so rather than try I emailed for the refund returns label on the basis that I erroneously ordered it and I have been told that it cannot be refunded due to being of a clinical nature so have been offered 20% refund of my £69 spend!! Such a con and I cannot believe I stupidly fell for it. I will try and get my money back through my bank as fraud. Avoid at all costs especially as Amazon sell them for the same as my refund amount!

Total scam

Total scam, charged over £111 for 2 bottles which are currently £18.99 each on Amazon, same bottle in exactly the same box, same imported rubbish you can’t trust. Took two and a half weeks to get here, from China I expect. Taken in by convincing scam advert and David Thornton is entirely fictional in my opinion, emails get answered by bots. Have asked to return for refund but don’t hold out any hope and will have to go to credit card company.

H2GUARDIAN HAVE PROVEN THEMSELVES TRUSTWORTHY! **UPDATED  3 days after posting original review & again 4 days after.

Star rating upped (again!) to 4⭐ See updates below.
Original review..
👇
Yep, totally avoid H2Guardian, their H2 Water maker & their made up characters of Massimiliano (who conversed with me as massimilianoDOTrinaldiATmaxforotltdDOTcom) and the supposed engineer & creator David Thornton.
I did receive my two H2 water makers but both were damaged due to pathetic packaging (tho one appeared to be a manufacturing fault).
Their comms is AI imo as the responses are overflowing and not what you'd expect.
I'm at the stage of several days past the point of where a refund & replacement should have occured with no response to my last email asking what is occuring!
Lesson learnt in not to rush into things and if a product or company doesn't already have reviews or any real history then avoid.
I've contacted my credit card company to instigate a claim to recoup the £111 odd this has cost me!
Do these ppl not realise that karma is real & has no time limits, lol.
**UPDATE** N⁰1
Lo & behold my replacements arrived today by "Tracked 48" along with an email dated late last night - it had been 10days since I last heard from H2Guardian & 3days since posting the review & I've come back to all of this after being away with work the past couple days.
The email from David (inventor/main man of H2Guatdian..AI?) wrote a very charming & good humoured email (no change there) addressing the delay & assuring me of my imminent replacements which of course I had already arrived home to find waiting for me
It was all as promised..well packaged this time with no issues whatsoever in terms of quality & build.
The email also told me that my 30% discount/refund is being actioned & to expect that in the coming days, which, given the performance so far has me feeling confident - time will tell & no doubt a further update will be duly added here.
I have amended the stsr rating from my initial 1 to a 3⭐ (tho this turn of events really warrants a 5). It rests at 3 because I shouldn't have had to spent all this time on what was essentially a quick purchase to pursue a curiosity about hydrogen water.
H2Guardian thus far have (yet again) proven themselves - there"s indeed hope for this World..I hope! Thank you David & Massimiliano.
**UPDATE** N⁰2
Today I received a confirmation email to say my 30% refund had been actioned & it is indeed already showing as a pending credit on my card.
All in all H2Guardian (David & Massimiliano whoever or whatever they may be) have come good - they have replaced my two damaged H2 Water Generators with crisp new ones (with no returns required) & duly refunded 30% as promised.
I hope the above helps anyone who may be experiencing tbe feeling that they've "been done", from my experience here I'd say there's nothing to worry about.

The next step will be to send the water these H2 Water Generators produce off to a lab for testing before I prrsonally consume any myself...it's best to be informed from your own independent research before putting things into your body or even bloodstream for that matter - be aware!

Scam!!!

As with all the previous reviews I have also tried to send the items back and get the full spiel about this not being possible despite their refund policy clearly stating that it has a ‘90 day satisfaction guarantee’.
Have now gone to my credit card company for a refund.
Avoid at all costs!

Total scam website

Total scam website. Product is not as advertised. They don’t stand by their 90 day money back guarantee.
They’ve copied the genuine Hydroh bottle companies company website using their photos . Going to try and get my money back from my bank. Avoid at all costs

Total con!

After looking into this company and still yet to receive my product as apparently it is still being made according to David which I don't believe is his name, I've requested a total refund and he has gone into a ridiculous speel of how the product has been calibrated for me. This is definitely a con!! When I looked into details of the company it looks like it was only set up last year. Hoping to get my money back through my bank as don't expect to get it back from him.

Just arrived from Singapore

Just arrived from Singapore! Leaflet is next to useless and written in broken English. At the moment I can’t get it to work so it doesn’t help that the instructions don’t make sense. DO Not waste your money on this it’s a complete CON

Total con. guarantee just words

Ordered on the 8th February once tracking info appeared it said delivery from Yun Express from China 😩 sent email for refund as felt the advertising was totally fake but was told by David (apparently) that the product is from UK based company. Very well worded. Received the product 10 days later and it is indeed from China. Just sent email for refund under distance selling laws and have been told it's a clinical product and no refunds so the 90 day guarantee refund is rubbish. Been offered 30% refund and keep product.
Please don't get conned by this person as I have. Buy from Amazon as it's half the price and exactly the same product.

Save your money - not quality or as advertised

The website and marketing was great but packaging cheap. No branding on packaging, product or leaflet and not in line with marketing and website. All indications are this is a cheap product from china and not UK. Emails on order and request for refund not from company and supposed ‘£19 ebook’ I was given when requested refund (which I need to request again and hold little hope of getting) is what I would have expected as instructions with logo & Dr name and referring to product that doesn’t match description of what I’ve got. I am in conversation for refund but this all seems fake and a rip off.
If wanted a cheap product I could have got much cheaper on Amazon. Concerned I have a product that may be opposite of healthy.
