If you are not drinking pure distilled water made from a quality water distillation system like those available from H2o Labs, your water doesn't come close to being so pure. Everyone realizes that tap water is loaded with many types of suspended pollutants, chemicals, toxins and other contaminants. Many people have the false impression that bottled water and water produced by home filtration systems is "pure". But it isn’t. Bottled water is usually just plain tap water that has been minimally filtered to get rid of the bad odor and taste. And home filtered water, (even reverse osmosis), is not pure either. Only pure distilled water made by water distillation systems like those available at our H2oLabs online store produce water so clean and pure, as pure as water can be.

Good product, horrible service. Buy Durastill products elsewhere.
I purchased a 12 gallon per day with a 25 gallon reserve tank in the first week of August, I called them about 2 weeks later and they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to ship it. I called again around the 8 week mark and they said it would take a few more weeks. This happened 2 more times and finally 15 weeks (yeah almost 4 full months) after I paid them thousands of dollars did they actually ship the item. I can understand that some things are not in within your control, maybe they experienced severe supply shortages? But what upsets me is that they either do not care enough to set realistic expectations or they are to incompetent to be reliable. The product has been up and running for a few days and seems great, but you should buy your durastill products from another company that will set proper expectations.
Price of carbon pods is steep
The price of carbon pods for certain models is steep compared to other companies. It's about $30 year plus at least $10 shipping. If you order more than one, up to 4, you can get free shipping for the extras. But who knows how long the distiller will hold up? If not, you're stuck with a bunch of not cheap filters. Wish they would reconsider a more reasonable price. Make them more competitive with the other companies also.

Model 300SS not worth the money
I purchased the model 300SS manual craft and after a year it stopped working. I had replaced the fuse and thermol switch, it worked for about 10 minutes then stopped. It was suggested that the whole burner section be replaced, another large cost, which I figured you might as well buy another whole unit. Will be looking else where for something better, this in my opinion was a waste of money, and I will not buy from this company again.

Wanted to wait a few months (before I posted a review) to use my distiller to see how it's holding up. I bought one from another company and it lasted 7-8 years. i think it might have lasted longer had I been given instructions to lightly scrub it after each use. ( I did try using vinegar as they suggested, to no avail.) I am doing that (scrubbing) with my H2O labs distiller and so far, so good. Would like to see if it lasts longer than my first one. It does take about 6 hours to make one gallon of water, but it is dependable so far, and the water tastes good. The metallic, chlorine taste from tap water is gone. This distiller looks almost identical to the other brand I bought before this one. Time will tell if I am a repeat customer.,...

Save your money and for an extra $220 you can get a Waterwise 3200. It does not cause your counter to flood every time because the carbon filter "clogged" up.

Shockingly poor customer service
I bought my first countertop distiller from H20 Labs about 2yrs ago. I felt it was a great product. The cost of the carbon filters went up significantly in that time but to their credit, they state the new ones last longer. The distiller itself has started rusting and corroding and the chamber that holds the carbon filter has now broken (and it's about the only thing you can't get a. spare for). SO I decided to buy the same thing again. The price of the distiller has gone up loads (by about 33%) and there was an eye-watering £20 delivery fee on top.Nevertheless, I bought it a week ago. No confirmation email (despite money coming out of my account) and no distiller delivered. So I called in to ask it's whereabouts and spoke to a gentleman who couldn't have sounded more disinterested in helping me. He told me the product should have been listed as out-of-stock and they didn't have anything to send to me. He did not apologise once. He didn't offer any alternatives. I asked for an alternative and he said the cheaper one that has a polypropylene carafe instead of the glass one I ordered is available. I asked if I could be sent that instead and a glass carafe delivered to me at a later date. He said no. I asked why no one got in touch with me to say they've received my order but it's no longer in stock and offer an alternative and he said they don't have a process for that. Still no apology. The outcome is he is going to reluctantly talk to a manager and get back to me. I asked, "today"? He said no sometime next week. Terrible, terrible customer service. I am quite shocked that I was made to feel like me asking after my £230+ purchase made over a week ago was an inconvenience.

Always delivered on time.
filters are great. Only wish they would last more than 60 cycles.
Outrageous delivery cost for carbon filters I will not buy!!
I tried to order carbon filters today advertised at £29.95 and was shocked to find that they charge £10 delivery for a very light item in very small package plus delivery is within the UK. I think this is false advertising as the postage is very small and they are really charging near to £40 per box. It holds us to ransom as we need the carbon filters. I have found a lovely company online that sell the same filters in same box for £7.99 and £1.95 for delivery so ive got the filters including postage for the cost of postage from H2o labs. What a rip off !!

Absolutely wonderful
Absolutely wonderful. I wish I had order one sooner in my life. I have the 300SS.
Unit works great and the fan is quiet
Unit works great and the fan is quiet! Very happy with the amount of water that is produced in a day. It will definitely pay for itself in a couple of months. We were buying (4) 5 gallon bottles of water every other week for the water dispenser plus 3-4 gallons of distilled water weekly for my husband's dietary needs. No more having to load up big plastic water jugs, drive 30 miles into town and hoping there are filled water bottles available for exchange!!!

Love this machine. ! Simple user friendly
Pure distilled water ,,,wish I had gotten it sooner
Highly recommended. Have to clean it after each cycle but only takes a minute Dont be lazy it’s worth it. We pour our water into glass bottles to keep it from plastic contamination. So good
People will tell you that distilled water leeches the minerals in your body. Which is true. All the bad ones ,,, things your body can’t absorb ,,,the good minerals stay. And you’ll be amazed how much better you feel ,,,
I just recived it.
I just recived it. It was easy to put together and I have already made 2 gallons of very clean crisp tasting water. So far I love it. Also love that I don't have to have all those plastics jugs around!
