Thanks for flagging this, I'm sorry to hear the first role we matched you with wasn't accepting applications anymore - I've taken a look and that role did close very quickly.
I can see you have a Live match now with the same company for that same role though, it seems they removed it temporarily and re-added it, it is still open/accepting applications, if you log in today you'll be able to review and respond.

Data Mining????
Like someone here I question the legitimacy of this site. There is no discernible way to contact anyone at the company and the AI chat is less than helpful. With live adverts on job boards like LinkedIn, that match my profile, I am unable to apply once through to the hack a job website. This does make me question whether this is simply a data mining operation.

Thanks for the feedback here, I'm sorry you found it hard to get in touch, the AI assisted chat should have provided an email, I've raised a ticket to investigate this, the majority of candidates however get in touch by responding to any of the emails we've sent out whether they relate to matches, interviews or your initial go Live email - but this is a clear issue we need to resolve and we'll prioritise making it more obvious how to get the support you need.
With regards to the roles you've seen externally not showing as matches, your profile is being assessed against roles all of the time, if we didn't show the role it means there's something about your profile that doesn't align to the role, whether that be based on the location/radius, salary, skills, eligibility, there are a lot of criteria we're assessing, we only show roles where you match all of the criteria as we don't want to be just another service creating noise for candidates and companies alike.

Have been using hackajob for about 4 months. Despite having 12 years of experience in data science and analytics, and a master’s degree, won an award, as well as being in employment at a big well known company, it hasn’t helped get an interview at all and I’m still facing bizarre levels of rejection. I’m suspicious that these jobs don’t actually exist!
Edit: Despite hackajob saying they’d reach out, I’ve had no such thing happen.

Thanks for getting in touch with this feedback, I'm sorry to hear we haven't delivered against expectations so far.
I appreciate it's frustrating when we inform you about a match which you're then rejected for, while we can never guarantee all matches will lead to success, on average, we're able to generate interviews from our matches at 3x the standard market rate - due to that, pre-filtering the match system does around salary, location, skills etc.
Although when your own experience doesn't reflect this stat, I do understand the disappointment, I can however assure you all roles advertised on the system are 100% legitimate and I want to focus on some practical solutions.
I've asked one of the team members to reach out with any profile setup advice they can offer & have flagged your profile to our CS team to see what they can do to help highlight it.

I'm sorry to hear this, this does happen from time to time where the role pauses between the notification being sent and you logging in to take action, I can see in this instance it was under 12 hours, which I appreciate is frustrating.
We are working on solutons here, on the one hand simply showing that paper trail so you don't feel misled, and on the other hand working with companies to try and ensure roles stay open for as long as possible.
