DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE!

We contacted Hadi Law at the beginning of February 2026 to request assistance with a ‘totting up’ driving incident.

We paid the fees in full and sent all requested information, including a letter of mitigation and exceptional hardship to Bilal Vorajee on 11 February 2026. To 20 April 2026 we have heard absolutely nothing from our representative, not even so much as an acknowledgment of the details provided.

Since Wednesday 15 April I have tried to contact Bilal on four separate occasions to obtain an update on where we are at and confirmation of court representation, each time with the promise of a call back. However, to date we have heard NOTHING! This level of service is abysmal and as such we are now writing to them with a formal complaint.

This morning after calling twice I was notified that Bilal is now off sick and we can’t be told when he is likely to return to work. I have also today perused online reviews and can see that we are not the first individual to have issues with Bilal – most recently someone in the same situation as us and a solicitor DID NOT TURN UP AT COURT.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY, FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO ACTUALLY CARES!

Extremely Poor Representation – Avoid

I paid £1,500 for legal representation in a speeding matter and was extremely disappointed with the service from Hadi Law Solicitors.

The advocate sent to court was poorly prepared, key documents were missing, and my case was not properly presented. My written statement and supporting evidence were not read out, and the questioning in court actively undermined my position rather than supporting it.

There was little to no proactive communication throughout, and I had no contact with the advocate prior to the hearing. As a result, my case was not properly argued and I am now facing a six-month driving disqualification.

I would not recommend this firm.

Did a great job.

Got 12 points but needed to keep my licence as my primary role is a carer for my elderly mother. They helped me through the process, explained clearly every step of the way and charged me half what some companies quoted me. Barrister they appointed for court was excellent.

Money grabbers not solicitors

The solicitor had asked for £4000 as his fee and had confirmed that they are experts in these matters he was very convincing and even told me that his fees would be recovered from the other side upon my win.
Bullshit never heard from them unless it was about their payments and yes I lost and they had nothing to say
Please don’t waist your money these guys ban win

Charged me £3,000 to appeal a driving offence but gave poor advice from the start. Only told me at court that it was “probably best not to win” — information I should have had before paying. They also failed to explain that appealing extends the ban period. I’m now out of pocket and stuck with a longer ban. Misleading, not transparent, and I would not recommend.

Overcharged and Misled: Trainee-Led Legal Advice with Minimal Barrister Input

They charge you for an initial case discussion, then assign a trainee who essentially does nothing except liaise with the barrister who will represent you in court. The barrister then spends a couple of minutes outlining the case—which I could have done myself—and then proceeds as expected.

If, as a company, you’re going to represent someone, you should tell them up front that a trainee will be advising them and charge a trainee fee accordingly.

If as a company you are going to represent someone then, from the outset tell them it is a trainne who will be adivising and maybe charge trainee fee too.

My Reply to Hadilaw's response:

I called to discuss my case for five minutes, but was only given limited information because I hadn’t yet paid the agreed fee (I’m not sure whether that was on Sunday or Monday). Once I paid, I was contacted on Monday by a trainee solicitor—yet at no point was I informed that my case would be handled by a trainee. Your website advertises “Specialist Driving Defence Solicitors at Your Service,” which is misleading unless you clearly indicate when a trainee will be advising and adjust your fees accordingly.

When I asked for help drafting the response letter you requested, your trainee replied—quite obnoxiously—that it wasn’t her role. While I’m sure this wasn’t intentional, and I’m sure you didn’t mean to call me a liar, that is exactly how it felt. A course in soft skills and greater transparency with clients would go a long way toward preventing reviews like mine.

Thank you and regards.

Please note that it is absolutely false and a blatant lie that we charge for a initial discussion. Our initial advice is free and always has been. Whilst your case may well have been undertaken by a trainee, it is of note that this trainee is well versed in motoring law and there was absolutely no prejudice to you. In respect of instructing a Barrister, please note it is usual practice that a Solicitor prepares the case and the advocacy is undertaken by a Barrister. We do offer Advocacy to our local clients but considering your location it would not have been cost effective for you. We find your 1 star review very surprising as you never once complained or expressed your dis-satisfaction throughout your case and more importantly you received your desired outcome.

Scam

Promised they could help me avoid a driving ban. When I got to court, the barrister they subcontracted, said that it was absoloute lies and that I was not the first client they had sent her who had been made a promise that had no chance of being kept. Then after the first hearing, I stated that I did not need there help for the sentencing. They turned up anyway and charged me £1500 for a barrister to just sit there. I argued after court that I told them this and did not have £1500 as I'd now lost my income due to the ban, and they took me to court and got me a ccj. I would avoid these chances at all costs.

Great firm. Excellent result. Well recommended

Raihana had dealt with my case from the start which involved a driving offence looking at a minimum 12 month ban. Communication was great and kept me informed through the process which lasted more than 12 months. Susan defended me in court and was excellent in putting forward my case. Great outcome after being found not guilty. Well recommend.

Driving Ban £3K Fine

Initially, I was offered the option to change my court location to Northampton, which I agreed to. However, I ended up being banned from driving for two weeks due to what was later explained as an administrative error.

When the actual hearing came around, I was asked to prepare multiple letters and documents. On the day, my legal representative showed up late, seemed unfamiliar with the details of my case, and gave only a basic summary in court. As a result, I was hit with an additional 40-day driving ban and a hefty fine.

In total, I lost more money going through Hadi Law than I would have by simply pleading guilty to the police in the first place. Here's the breakdown:

Court fine and related losses: £1,724

Hadi Law fees: £1,500
Total: £3,224
Had I just dealt with the police directly, it would’ve cost me around £600.

I understand my case wasn't the easiest, but I was assured it would be a strong win based on my circumstances. Unfortunately, the representation didn’t live up to expectations.

Hadi Law Firm has demonstrated a…

Hadi Law Firm has demonstrated a profoundly unprofessional approach to handling my case, characterized by a lack of basic communication and attentiveness. From the beginning, the firm showed little regard for keeping me informed about the progress of my case. Calls went unreturned for days, emails were often ignored, and when responses were provided, they were vague and dismissive. This lack of communication left me feeling completely in the dark about crucial developments in my case and created a deep sense of frustration and mistrust. It is abundantly clear that communication is not a priority for Hadi Law Firm, despite the importance of transparency and client engagement in legal proceedings.

In addition to poor communication, the experience of interacting with the person who answers calls at Hadi Law Firm has been consistently rude and unwelcoming. I found that every attempt to reach out for clarification or guidance was met with a dismissive tone and, at times, outright hostility. Instead of receiving any form of reassurance or professionalism, I was left feeling belittled and disregarded by this individual, who seemed uninterested in providing the basic respect expected in client relations. This kind of conduct is unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of courtesy and respect for clients who are already facing stressful legal issues.

Worse yet, on the day of court, my barrister arrived expecting me to have brought relevant documents to help represent my case effectively. Hadi law had not instructed me to bring any documents to court and only received a call from Hadi Law 15 minutes before entering court. It became glaringly obvious that Hadi Law Firm had failed to communicate key aspects of my case to the barrister, despite the fact that these details had been repeatedly discussed in prior meetings. This reflects poorly on the firm’s organizational competence and commitment to providing quality representation. A law firm has a responsibility to ensure that its barristers are well-prepared and well-informed; Hadi Law Firm failed to meet this basic professional standard.

Above all, it is clear that Hadi Law Firm is primarily interested in extracting fees rather than providing dedicated and ethical service to its clients. Throughout my interactions with them, I felt like just another source of revenue rather than a client in need of professional assistance. This focus on profit over people has resulted in subpar service, a lack of accountability, and a disappointing experience overall. Clients seeking legal representation expect and deserve a firm that values their case, communicates openly, and acts with professionalism—qualities that Hadi Law Firm has regrettably failed to demonstrate.

I paid 1500 to draft my letters, increase my blood pressure, and be spoken to like with no manners.

I can only thank God that my Barrister was experienced enough to enable an able successful outcome.

Stay away from using Hadi law - totally unprofessional, incompetent, dishonest and completely Money Minded

Stay away from using Hadi law - totally unprofessional, incompetent, dishonest and completely Money Minded.
I'm not sure that any of these "Review" sites are useful, so putting this out in the hope that it will deter people from using the services of Hadi law.
This law firm has an extremely shoddy low level service, failed to study the details of the case prior to facing the judge in court, then when you make a complaint they will side with their staff against you ; unprofessionalism is their motto; I think most folks would be better off representing themselves than trusting this law firm to not care, be disrespectful, and cause potentially more damage than help.
They exploit people vulnerability and take advantage of them. If there is an award for Worst Law firm is to be given I’ll suggest Hadi Law, and the TrustScore calculation should start with a negative valuer never mind with a 1, as this company does not deserve Ratings.

Application Betrayal and data breach; Use of a third party documents without my Concerns

This is very big warning to anyone out there thinking of engaging services of Hadi law solicitors, they probably provide a shoddy low level service; they are crooks; not to be trusted - they are only after your money quickly, please be warned-our application were made without any case laws or references - basics to any home office application process ; they equally compromise your application and share your documents with a third party and your rivalry and get paid to sell you and your details to others ( this is a complete data breach) ; they make things up on your application that you didn’t tell them or discuss with them ; actually lie on your application ; they use a third party documents- bank statements for example that you didn’t provide to them, in short they did betray me upon paying them huge sum of money to do the application: finally, they will refuse to provide you with the copy of the home office applications so you will not discover their betrayal. When you make a complaint they will side with their staff against you ; unprofessionalism is their motto; a breach of customer confidentiality and lack of professional independence- these are professional ethics violations in modern Britain; law firms are corrupt ; betraying their clients for financial gain. This is personal experiences;, you know

They exploit my vulnerability and take advantage of me, I had to pay another solicitor similar amount to help and make some corrections to the Home Application with case laws
