I recently had my second hair transplant with HTG—this time 3,500 grafts focused on the mid-scalp and crown area—and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience.

From start to finish, the day ran smoothly. The team was professional, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable and well-informed at every stage. I was warmly welcomed and had a relaxed chat with both Dr. Erdinç and Dr. Batu before the procedure. They’re both genuinely friendly and down-to-earth, which made a big difference. They checked in on me throughout the day, and their communication was spot-on.

One thing that really stood out was the level of care: I had a dedicated team of six technicians with me the entire time, and I was the only patient that day. That meant all the focus was solely on me, which gave me real peace of mind.

What I appreciated most was how clearly everything was explained—no rushed answers or vague details. They walked me through the whole process, addressed all my questions, and really made an effort to tailor the day to my needs.

Even after the procedure, the support has been excellent. I’m in a group chat with the doctors and techs, so I can send photos, ask questions, and always get quick responses.

For context, I had my first transplant (about 2,000 grafts to the hairline) two years ago in London with a different clinic. That experience went well too, but HTG took it up a level in terms of communication, aftercare, and overall professionalism.

Right now, I’m in the waiting game phase—it’ll take 12 to 18 months to see the full results. I also still have my PRP sessions booked in, which I’m looking forward to as part of the overall recovery and growth plan.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I know how overwhelming it can be trying to choose a clinic you can trust. I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about HTG—they made the whole experience easy, and I’m really glad I went with them.

I’ve been researching hair transplants for over two years now and had several video consultations with clinics in the USA.

About 10 days ago, while on a holiday in London with my family, I had a face-to-face consultation with HTG Clinic.

I found out about them through a friend I recently met in the US, who highly recommended them.

The clinic is spotless, and the staff are incredibly attentive.

But what truly stood out was the knowledge, professionalism, and personalized approach of Dr. Ali Havutcu and Dr. Batu Aysal.

They offered clear, well-thought-out alternatives, and their expertise was truly exceptional. Compared to the consultations I had in the US, this one was by far the best.

Every question I asked was answered in detail. Even though I’m 60, they showed me before-and-after results of patients aged 71 — and the outcomes were absolutely jaw-dropping.

One case that really encouraged me was a 62-year-old patient who had undergone four hair transplants over the past 20 years — and after this one, he looked at least 10 years younger!

What I appreciated most is that they didn’t pressure me at all. In fact, they told me surgery is usually considered the last resort — which made me trust them even more.

So in the end, after our Christmas holiday in London, I decided to book my spot.

I attended yesterday for my hair transplant, immediately greeted by Dr Erdinc and felt comfortable immediately. When designing my hair line both Dr’s were very attentive and made the adjustments I requested. I am extremely happy with the service I received, end results are obviously months away but the HTG team are amazing.

I was very happy with my experience and procedure. Before i agreed to have my procedure at HTG I DID my research and found HTG asked important questions about my health before even discussing my surgery, and the after care is amazing. And most importantly the results are amazing.

Amazing clinic, did a hair transplant a month ago.
Impressed with the professionalism of the doctors and staff.
They consulted me through he entire process and made sure my new hairline is natural and is future proof.
During the surgery, I was the only person being seen that day in the clinic.
I had 2 doctors and 4 nurses who carried out the operation.
And I also was introduced to the admin staff, who has been in regular contact with me, giving me advice, answering questions and asking for updates.

I had my transplant done on 9th of April so obviously there is a long way to wait for the final results but with confidence I can comment why I’ve selected HTG group instead of going to Turkey and describe the day of the procedure.

My initial idea was to go to Istanbul and get it done there but as I did more research on the topic I found more and more bad stories and red flags along the way. On top of that every initial conversation with a clinic from Istanbul put me off even more. For example, I wasn't able to speak with the actual doctors but only with technicians or representatives. I was offered some ridiculous contracts etc. I can go on and on but you can find everything online if you do a bit of digging.

Now, to contrast that I couldn't find anything negative about the HTG group. I was able to find the name of the doctors of that clinic from their website and check their work and education history on linkedIn before even contacting the clinic. The initial video conversation I had was straight away with Dr. Havutcu and Dr. Batu who were great from the start. The communication from there was smooth sailing and continues until now. I knew exactly what was going to happen, who will be looking after me on the day of the procedure and what post procedure care will be. They only do one procedure per day which means that as soon as you arrive at the clinic you are looked after by all staff that works there throughout the whole day which I think is amazing.

The procedure itself is long and uncomfortable but manageable. Everyone is different but for me local anesthesia wasn't painful at all. I had blood pressure checked regularly and during each part of the procedure I was explained what was happening. I got stressed twice during the surgery for a moment but doctors calmed me down immediately. Now it's 6th day post operation and I feel fine and recovery is going well. Super fast communication with the clinic continues until now.

To conclude I am super happy so far and highly recommend this place. I thought the whole hair transplant journey would be much more difficult but all the staff that works there made it less stressful and easier to go through in general.

My experience at this clinic was genuinely great. The doctor and his team were friendly, approachable, and made me feel comfortable. They were honest and didn't rush any part of the consultation making sure I was fully informed of the options and procedure before making any decisions. I had an excellent experience at the hair transplant clinic. The entire staff was amazing, making me feel truly cared for throughout the process. The procedure itself was virtually painless, and the overall experience was incredibly smooth and pleasant. I even had a quick lunch break, which made the day more comfortable.

The aftercare was well-explained by the doctors, and I received a bag with all the necessary products to ensure proper healing. Choosing this clinic was so convenient—definitely a much better option than traveling abroad for the procedure. I’m excited to see my new hair start growing!

From the free consultation to the day of surgery HTG have been really wonderful. I felt really reassured by the professionalism and knowledge from Dr Havutcu and all the team all through the entire process. The information, support and guidance before committing to the procedure were invaluable. After lots of research I’m glad I found HTG! The day of surgery was a smooth, easy and pleasant day. There was minor discomfort when local anaesthetic was administered, but it was mere seconds, and the use of a vibrating implement distracted me enough to only notice pin picks. The rest of the procedure was pain-free, I even dozed off a few times. The after care package you leave with is well thought through and includes everything you’ll need to look after your new hair grafts post-op. I won’t need the loose fitting sun hat as it’s winter but it is appreciated! The support afterwards has also been excellent. I know if I have any questions or concerns about my recovery journey the team are on hand as needed. I can’t recommend HTG enough.

Amazing clinic! I’ve been experiencing hair loss for the past 2 years and have tried every so called reviving product and procedure. I finally decided to get a hair transplant and read great reviews about this clinic. First off, the staff was very welcoming and patient with my endless questions. Secondly, they were incredibly ethical in their practice. They offered a PRP treatment instead of a hair transplant (which costs more!) as they explained they only do hair transplants as a last resort. I was sceptical at first as it wasnt a procedure I was familiar with but the results speak for itself. I’ve had 3 rounds of treatment 30days apart and I couldn’t be happier! Just had my second transplant carried out by HTG. Again great care and attention by all staff. Excellent care on the day and all information given for the next few weeks. Would highly recommend HTG.

An amazing clinic, the staff were amazing and the doctor and surgeon were very honest, they gave me options pros and cons and explained everything in amazing detail. The assistants were also very caring and provided music on the day a lunch which they provided options for and kept checking as to whether my blood pressure was ok, if I was cold or needed a drink etc. amazing clinic and amazing people

I’ve had previous transplants and this one was by far the best experience I’ve had so far.
They have everything covered it’s faultless.

I had been wanting to fill in the thinning sides and my receding hairline for some time and had been researching where I felt would be the right place for me. After reading many reviews I decided on the HDT clinic as I felt they had been reviewed by many people with afro hair and I thought I would feel safe with them. They were an excellent choice for me. I was a little anxious on arrival but once I met the lovely receptionist felt at ease. I then was introduced to the brilliant Dr Havutcu and the team and all anxiety dissolved. I was kept informed what was happenning every step of the way and shown the differences in follicles on afro hair. I was also given a little scientific information in a way I could understand it making the process more anxiety free for me. I was completely cared for and looked after. We had a break where i was given a delicious light lunch. My procedure was yesterday, I have a little swelling today but no pain. I was given an aftercare consultation and a pack with shampoo, moisturiser, special pillow and other things for my comfort when I got home. Further I was told I could contact the team at any time day or night if I had any problems once I was at home.

If someone is anxious and on the fence about having this procedure I hope this review helps you to make up your mind to go for it. I am very glad I did and will post again in 1 year to show my results.
