Fruit is good, ordering process cumbersome

I have gotten oranges and Grapefruit from Hale Groves for some time. My In laws lived in Ft. Pierce and we always went to Vero and stopped at Hales. Pop liked their oranges he made fresh juice every morning. We always carried some back home with us. We only get good oranges about 3 months a year. My mother also ordered stuff for us numerous times. This year I ordered some for myself. The grapefruit was super. Very Nice! The oranges were somewhat disappointing. They were comparable to what I get in the food lion right now. I mentioned that on a review on the delivery and they sent another tray of oranges which I wasn't expecting. WOW! What a difference These were TOP NOTCH! Remarkable difference. Super-Duper!! Hale Groves is TOP NOTCH!!

Both grapefruit and oranges were delicious. Although the navels seemed small, they packed a punch! After eating a few of the grapefruit, we happened to eat a "store bought" one and immediately knew it was not a Hale Ruby Red! The Hale grapefruit were sweet and juicy.

As previously reported, the oranges were frozen or prior harvest. Not juicy or sweet/ Grapefruit barely sweet.

My daughter's family was thrilled as always with the wonderful grapefruit and oranges. They love getting the Florida fresh fruit, My husband and I really like the various gifts thru Hale Grove at this time of year and send them to many of our family members. We also like being able to order early from our repeat gift list each year . Thank you.

Price is to high. Do not like the high cost of shipping.
The fruit is so sweet and juice you can't get this quality anywhere else - even if you are not a citrus fruit lover you would enjoy biting into these lovely tender sweet juice oranges the ruby red grapefruits - fabulous flavor and so sweet no sugar needed its all in the fruit natural beautifully sweet a lovely treat
I THINK THIS IS MY FAVORITE ORDER THAT I GET FROM HALE GROVES. I SHARE WITH MY MOM AND SHE TALKS ABOUT HOW SWEET THE FRUIT IT.
The best is hard to beat and in my opinion Hale is the best.
