Calling a locksmith can be daunting, especially when you have heard a lot of horror stories. My front door was stuck in a closed position and I could not open it.

I phoned Shane, who talked me through, what could be causing the problem and the prices to fix it depending if it needed new parts or not.

He turned up 20 mins after I phoned him, had a look and set to work and finally got the door open. He found the cause of the problem and was able to replace the parts. Leaving me with a fully working front door again with a new lock and set of 3 keys.

He did a good job, I was happy with the work and would recommend him to others.

Have to say really impressed with Haleslocks today. Only rang Shane late Sunday and he came first thing Monday morning. Identified the problem gave a fair price job done door lock fixed. Would definitely recommend

The locking mechanism in my back door developed a fault. After sending Shane a short video depicting the problem he was able to assess the situation and give a guideline price. Although not an emergency, he was in the area and came to fit a new mechanism within a few minutes after I confirmed I wanted the work done. He was polite, friendly and professional and fully explained my options.
I was very impressed with the reasonable pricing and he stuck to what was needed. There were no surprise add-ons.

I'd accidentally locked myself and my daughter out of our house as I'd left the key inside the multi-point lock system on the inside and closed the door when leaving the property! Big OOPS, as you're unable to unlock the lock from the outside if the key is still in the lock on the inside - lesson learnt!

My elderly Mum locked herself out. I called Haleslocks and Shane arrived within 10 minutes and was able to gain entry without causing any damage to the lock or door meaning we didn't need to change the lock. It was a lot cheaper than I expected as well so very impressed and relieved.

My husband's key broke in the lock of his van and after calling a couple of 24 hour locksmiths Shane was the only one who would come out the same day. He sorted out our key quickly and came back at a later date to fit new security locks. Great service from start to finish and really friendly and helpful man. Will definitely be using him in the future and recommending him.

I called Shane when the lock on my back door failed. He was absolutely brilliant. Fixed an entire new mechanism, which works far better than the original ever did. He also came out the very next morning, even though it was a weekend day. I can't recommend him enough. He is incredibly knowledgeable, guarantees his work and can offer plenty of advice. And all this at a very reasonable price.
