American Legion let down

I am the Commander of an American Legion Post and normally work with a banner company locally. The owner of that business is retiring and referred me to Half Price Banners. I reached out both online and telephonically to order two banners for a Family Day event on April 25th. I spoke to a guy named Anthony more than a week out and explained my situation and even approved the proof while we talked on the phone. I called back today and spoke with him again. He promised me a call back in ten minutes that never happened, now the phone lines are too busy to take my call. When I visited the website to inquire about a refund, the number list for that department is out of service. Now I understand why their name is Half Price Banners!

You get what you pay for!

You get what you pay for! Yes, they are much cheaper than other options but there is a reason for that, as I learned from a recent experience ordering with them. I saw reviews on Yelp, one star rating, but chose to take a chance. I wish I had listened! I paid for expedited production/shipping and it took them 2 full business days just to send me proofs, which I had to approve before production. No biggie, I approved right away. Then I didn't hear from them for a week, so I tried reaching them and none of their communication channels are reliable. Chat didn't work, phone went to some kind of voice mail, and my email went unanswered for a couple of days. I ended up getting someone on the phone eventually, and a couple of email replies, but when 2 weeks went by without a shipping notification, I just filed a dispute with my credit card. After that, they said it was shipped and when I mentioned the tracking info never updated, they said oh there is a dispute open if you cancel it we will ship. I asked for proof that the printing had been completed and I never heard back from them. Complete sham of a business I guess maybe you could get lucky especially if you aren't in any kind of hurry but I wouldn't count on it. And definitely don't pay extra for anything expedited because you'll be wasting your money.

Miserable, unprofessional service

I placed a custom order through this company for work and experienced truly miserable customer service and time-wasting. The rep shipped our time-sensitive bulk order entirely to the wrong place and consistently required multiple follow-ups to attempt any semblance of fixing the issue. This very simple, straightforward order has stretched across two months for absolutely no reason. We weren't even given a workable invoice for the order. The entire exchange was unprofessional and very, very miserable.

On the bright side, orders placed through their website are fulfilled as requested. Simply put: do it yourself. Do not rely on the service team to do ANYTHING for you.
