I’m in Sweden and I accidentally ordered from their American website instead of their European one. I was a little worried about a long wait for the product and the quality but I was positively surprised.
The shipping was really quick, just a few days and I got amazing help from their custom service when I noticed that my phone had autocorrected my email address for the order to one that I didn’t had access to.
The product itself was better than what I expected, it was just as the pictures and fitted really well!

I had my doubts. Found them through a facebook ad and you know how that goes. I found an animatronic that I just had to give a go even though the price was at the higher end of too-good-to-be-true territory and animatronics and seasonal merch never seems to hold up for long. Product was delivered two days after i ordered. There was a servo that seemed like it was louder than it should be so i emailed them expecting a curt non-reply. Instead I got a pleasant human email back in about three hours that they would send me basically the top half of the animatronic (the expensive half) free of charge, no further questions asked. Super rare to get that kind of customer service anywhere, in my experience. Very pleased. They earned themselves a life long customer.

Very disappointed with this company. The product we received was extremely poor quality and appeared used. The material had yellow discoloration between the layers, looked like it had been previously worn or exposed to sweat, and had a very strong unpleasant odor. This was completely unacceptable, especially since it was ordered for an elementary school performance.
The condition of the product caused major problems and stress for our event because we had to urgently search for replacements at the last minute. To make matters worse, the company wanted to charge an 18% return fee despite the unacceptable condition of the item.
When we finally contacted customer service, the representative was rude and unhelpful instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally. This was one of the worst customer service experiences we have had.
I will never order from this company again and will definitely share this experience with others in our school district so they are aware before purchasing from this business.
**Yes, as mentioned in your reply, we did pass the 14-day period because my mother was hospitalized, had just returned home recently, and is now back in the hospital again. During that time, I also had to deal with reordering costume pieces to replace the used and missing parts from the costume you sent us.
What disappoints me the most is the way your customer service handled this situation. It feels as though you are accusing us of using the item and simply not wanting it anymore, which is completely untrue.
First, without the proper attachments included, no child could even wear the costume properly, especially considering the strong odor it arrived with. Second, instead of pointing fingers and making assumptions, no one ever offered to send the missing attachments or replace the defective item. What kind of company and customer service is this? It is extremely unprofessional.
The items clearly arrived looking used, which was obvious immediately upon opening the package. We do not like returning products and would not go through this process unless it was necessary. I honestly cannot believe this product was shipped out without proper quality control.

I am writing to express concern regarding a recent customer service experience with your company. I have NEVER complained about a customer service experience and spend thousands of dollars across various companies every year for halloween. I have had broken items and conversations with several customer service people over the years, but NEVER have I had such a terrible experience as I had today.
Earlier this morning, after receiving a defective Green Alien from your company, I had an online chat with Kayla Holst that went no where and was very frustrating. I do not think it was entirely her fault, I simply think she needs more training and/or education on how to deal with animatronics and how FedEx works. BUT THEN I called, to try and get a resolution via phone line customer service…the phone echoed profusely loud to where I could not hear myself talk - the entire time…I called back in total four times, getting the same representative with the same echoing issue JEANETTE. She blamed me for the eco in a very rude manor - which was entirely incorrect as I have talked to ten other people today with no issues. She continued to say it was my fault and that I should call my cell phone provider and that she “is not a cell phone technician” …I asked if I could talk to anyone else to try and eliminate the extremely frustrating eco and she said no, that she was the only one I would be talking to. She proceeded to be the rudest customer service person I have ever spoken with and blame me for the problem with the alien and suggesting unacceptable solutions that would only entirely cause me undue hardship to fulfill. I can understand policy, BUT THE WAY Jeanette handled this is the most unprofessional and rude way to ever speak to an already frustrated and LOYAL customer. I have shopped with this company for years and expect much better from the terrible experience and product I received today.
Lastly, I later went on my Facebook to check my story report…to my astonishment and in the creepiest way ever, I see that not only had I been treated poorly by Halloweencostumes.com customer service with absolutely no solution whatsoever AFTER FOUR HOURS of trying to find one…but an employee for whom I spoke with had stalked my Facebook! That is the creepiest and most uncomfortable thought, and the last thing someone expects when they call customer service for help. I took screenshots, and thankfully so, because after I addressed it with the person - they blacked me. So weird, very weird.
I ask that Jeanette be educated on customer service because there is not one suitable trait from my conversation with her fitting for the field she is in. I even had a friend call to confirm the customer service person’s name after the fact, and she too said that Jeanette was the worst customer service experience she ever had, even with just a three minute long conversation.
Please address this terrible customer service and save other loyal customers the fait I must now deal with. What a waste of my money and waste of my day. Hours gone dealing with incompetent employees. A shame - please do better. It would be great to be compensated for my time, energy and stress but according to your customer service that won’t happen.

The customer service agent was very helpful as my item came damaged . It was a seamless fix and I received the new item in record time.
I strongly advise against ordering from this site. I purchased a Chucky costume for $40 plus $20 for shipping, totaling $60. Despite following the size guide, the costume arrived much too large and the fit was poor.
When I contacted customer service for a return, I was told I had to pay for my own return shipping (another $20) and would be charged an 18% restocking fee. If you do the math, between the original shipping and the return costs, I’ve effectively lost $40 on a $40 item. The "restocking fee" combined with these costs feels more like a 25% penalty just for trying a product that didn't fit.
Save yourself the headache and buy from a local shop or a site like Amazon, where they don’t penalize you for returns. Unless I plan on gaining 50 pounds to make this fit, I'm out of luck. Avoid this company.
Buy with Amazon if you're going to order online, at least they give you all your money back and don't steal money on top of it

The website is o.k. and the range of products very good but they rip-off the customers with the shipping cost. So be very careful not to let a good product price entice you into making a purchase, only to get ripped off on the shipping costs—that’s how a good deal can suddenly turn into a very bad one.
Answer to the question of Halloweencostumes: I don´t have an order number because as I wrote, the shipping cost is a rip-off and so I didn´t order the item HD1011184395 and the chat was without a solution for this. If you want to try to make it better for example with parcelmonkey ............ o.k., try and make me an offer which I am not able to deny. The parcel has a weight of 45 lbs. and the size is 35x31x21
Answer: Exactly this is your problem! Inflexible and the customer must pay the price for this bad behavior. 179.99 is a rip-off and it doesn´t matter if the money is going into your pocket or in the pocket of your actually carrier instead of finding better solutions for your customers.

Everything up until I returned the item was great after that it was a shambles. Waited almost 3 months for a refund which I only got because I bothered to call them and follow up. If I had forgotten about it or not bothered to call I would never have got the refund. Seems shady, won’t be shopping there again. Back to trusty old spirit Halloween!

i ordered a costume for my son 3 months in advance, with the economy shipping method that was suppose to arrive within 5 weeks, way before the time i needed it. eventually it never arrived. when i contacted them they said that since it was economy shipping, they can't help me and never got even a refund. would never buy from them again.
I ordered a costume Jan 19th for a party on Jan 31st. I ordered expedited shipping so it would get from MN to AK quickly. I paid for 3 day shipping. As soon as I ordered, it immediately said it would take 4 days. Ok no biggie. The order wasn’t processed for 2 days, and of course the costume is nowhere to be found. I tracked to package to UPS and it says it will be delivered by Feb 6th. Absolute garbage! Thank you Halloweencostumes.com for screwing up my 50th birthday party. I’ll make sure everyone knows about this. I called the customer service and they refunded me, but that doesn’t fix the problem I now have. I tried to be understanding about shipping late and paying for 3 day shipping but at this point, a refund doesn’t mean much of anything. I would give this company negative 5 stars if I could. Do NOT order from this company.

Genuinely awful company that does everything they can to keep your money, even when they don't hold up their end of the service agreement. I ordered 2 Halloween costumes and when they arrived, they were defective. It was too late to get a replacement in time for Halloween so I asked for a refund. Their policy says they charge you for return shipping AND an 18% restocking fee! Customers shouldn't have to pay that when the merchandise is defective, so I contacted customer service. First they tried to get me to keep the defective merchandise for 20% off. I said no. Finally they agreed to waive the fees, so I followed their instructions to send the merchandise back. I waited the (ridiculous) 4 week processing period for the refund to show, but it never did even though I could see that the package was delivered. It's like they hope customers will forget about it so they never have to pay out the refund! Luckily I kept records of everything because I finally got my money back by disputing the charge with my credit card company. And even then, this company tried to fight the dispute so it took longer than usual! I will never order from them again and I discourage others from doing so.
