We paid extra to have two-day shipping because my child had a party to attend the upcoming weekend and she needed an Alice in Wonderland costume. I placed my order on a Tuesday, and the initial shipping estimate was for Friday. The next day I checked the shipping estimate, and it said Thursday. I was happy that it was ahead of schedule. Well, on Thursday I check the status again, and the delivery date is now Saturday. Not the end of the world but cutting it close since it is the day of the party. Well, I get up this fine Saturday morning to see that the costume delivery dates has been pushed back to Monday. Again, her party is Saturday, Monday is after the event. Sure, she will have it for Trick or Treating, but she won't have it for the party she has been looking forward to for weeks. Her and her group of friends had themed costumes and now she is the odd one out because of this delay.
Since I had paid extra for shipping and the item was no longer arriving in time for the event, I contacted customer service. The most they offered was a partial refund of the shipping. I come from a retail background and this was a very disappointing outcome. I won't be shopping here again and neither will my friends and family. Very disappointing.
UPDATE: The company did the right thing by not only refunding the shipping, but also the cost of the outfit. I hate that I had to resort to negative review to prompt action, but going through the customer service chat didn't yield the minimum of what I was requesting which was simply having the cost of shipping refunded. We received the costume on Tuesday of this week and the quality of the materials is fantastic. I have updated my rating as a result.

An ‘Exit Scam’ is when a once good company scams as many people as they can on their way out or business, and I am SURE that is what is happening here. If you ‘Sort’ the reviews here by ‘Most Recent’, you will see that it started this year, and there likely won’t BE a “next year”.

A entire week goes by without so much as a confirmation email, a tracking number, or anything. All I can see is that my Visa was charged. I send emails, I try to call, I even hop in the chat— nothing. There is literally no way to contact this company. I finally figure out through my bank that they cancelled it on Oct. 14, 2025 without any notice whatsoever— but tried to keep all the fees associated with the transaction!
This company is exit scamming at worst, and predatory at best, because they used to be a good company. This has placed us in a total last-minute scramble to make sure our kiddo’s FIRST HALLOWEEN wasn’t a complete debacle.

I will be sharing my and all the other reviews here in as many places as I possibly can because this company used to be legit, and exit scams are VERY EASY to fall for.
UPDATE: As you can see, I included BOTH order numbers so that they could not push it off onto Sezzle, but they did anyway, choosing to ignore their own order number. This is classic Exit Scam behavior.
Claiming that “they don’t see an order with my name” could only possibly mean three things— that I am lying, that they are lying, or that they are incompetent. I promise you, I have not put my personal information out here, AND verified my account, just to make a fake review.
All you have to do is look at the other reviews once you sort them by ‘Most Recent’ and you’ll see just how bad this situation is. You can cross check this against any of their social media pages— Facebook, Instagram… they are all FULL of recent complaints, bad reviews, and scam accusations.

I spent over $100 on a costume and paid for expedited shipping. When the order did not arrive on the date promised, I checked the status to see that it had never shipped. After waiting 2.5 hours on the phone to speak to Customer Service, I was told that the costume was never in stock, despite me paying and waiting for it. They processed the order cancelation as a "Return," charging me an 18% restocking fee and shipping fee for an out of stock item that never shipped. I will be filing a chargeback with my bank. I cannot recommend ordering from here.

I have ordered in the past with no issues, but on my latest order I selected priority shipping to have costumes in-time for an event & Halloween. The estimated delivery date still shows 10/22/25, and the order hasn't even shipped yet. The costumes will likely not arrive in time, and we will have to purchase with a different company.
I can't get in contact with anyone for updates, as there phones are always unanswered and voicemail full.

sent the wrong costumes and had to replace with a new costume order Essentially we were bait and switched on first order then reordered the original costume and were charged for both. But the customer service which is obviously a scam wont pick up to start a return on the first wrong item. Don’t use them, Please for the love of god use another vendor. You have been warned

I placed an order for an adult-sized Richard Simmons costume a week ago. Yesterday I received a package that instead had a child sized corn on a cob costume. However all attempts to return the item and get the correct item before Halloween are hitting dead ends. Their phone number is a black hole that never picks up, and they don't respond to the email form on their website. You can't depend on this company.

Service is excellent, and costumes are of very good quality. My kids wear them year round just for fun. An excellent company that actually cares.
I knew I was taking a gamble ordering from here based on all the bad reviews, however I couldn’t find the outfit I wanted anywhere else so took the chance and glad I did. Opted for the fast delivery and the order arrived exactly as described right on time. I was updated every step of the delivery journey front the USA to my house in UK - arrived in 3 days can’t complain.
Ordered a spooky Halloween decoration, the item was faulty when I received it. I live in the UK but the website i ordered from was a Co.Uk website. Obviously i expected them to have a UK warehouse but it was shipped by airmail.
Cant get hold of customer service by phone, and live chat is taking forever. If I return the item i wont get a replacement before Halloween. I'm just left with a plastic cheap looking witch that I probably could have bought for about £20 or made one myself.
1st and LAST time I will be shopping from here,

Ordered a Good Witch costume in a small. We already had the medium which was too big. The costume arrived worn, marked, damaged and faulty with the body star off centre, no headdress or choker. I was able to compare the medium to the small and there was no comparison, it was clearly worn and inferior in very way. We had to get a seamstress at mode cost to amend the medium same day as it was for a show.
Contacted the company same day, they put me through an arduous process of wanting photos which I’ve now provided by Dropbox link and then they went quiet. No returns form, no information on returns - just says to contact them. But their contact is poor. I shouldn’t have had to provide photos for their mistake. There should be a returns form. I also see they charge a restocking fee, well they won’t be charging me that for faulty goods!!!

We placed a sizeable order of Halloween costumes from this company this year, trying them out instead of our usual go-to costume store. Three of the costumes fit other family members, although the quality was noticeably below what I’d expect for the prices we paid. Unfortunately, my costume didn’t fit, even though the sizing chart indicated it should have.
After reviewing their return policy, I was honestly shocked. They charge an 18% restocking fee, require customers to pay for return shipping, and then reserve the right to decide whether your return “meets their criteria.” If it doesn’t, they keep both the costume and your money. Excuse me? That’s some pretty terrible business practice.
Given how inconsistent costume sizing can be, especially when their own chart isn’t accurate, this policy feels completely unreasonable. I’ve decided to just keep the costume and sell it myself rather than deal with this nonsense. We will not be ordering from this company again.
And no, I didn’t bother calling customer service just to be told the same nine-point list of strict return requirements already posted on their site. Lesson learned; we’ll be going back to our trusted costume store next time.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We bought a $200+ animatronic for our Halloween party. We just set it up and put batteries in it, and within 3 minutes it didn’t work, then started spazzing out then started SMOKING severely bad and almost caught fire even once the batteries were removed. We opened it and sooo we can’t return it and even if we could we would have to pay an $8 label fee and an 18% restock fee for over $200 weeks saved up TO HAVE HIM OUT OF THE BOX FOR 3 MINUTES BEFORE HE ALMOST CAUGHT OUR HOUSE ON FIRE! We saved up for this and we are both so upset.

Update: costume was delivered. Still spend 1 hour 45 minutes on hold on the phone trying to reach customer service (never did), and never was provided any shipping info so communications/information definitely needs to be better.

I had to cancel an order I made. No fault of HC folks. I was in the "Chat help" and Bailey B. was a great help to my issue. Was sent the transcript / and refund outline after our conversation.
I have bought items from this company two times (a year apart), and both times they sent me a wrong item. The first time I ordered an adult male costume, and I got a child's racing costume, and the second time I ordered an adult male costume, and got a female ringmaster costume. This company has no idea how to pick and ship items.

I purchased a costume, they delivered it to another city and would not send another to the correct address and would not offer a refund either. I would think that purchasing would ensure they would at least deliver to your address but they delivered to a different city and still refused to take responsibility for it. Unreliable. I spoke with manager and she was saying because it said delivered even though it was delivered to the wrong place that they are not responsible.

Was having problems trying to return something that didn’t fit my child. I emailed beginning of October (return window closed on October 12) finally got a reply to my email on October 14 and said it was not eligible to return. I called several times within the time frame with no answer, too! Disappointed.
