Don't ever trust this company, they're useless.

I took out a five year maintenance contract with this company at around £200.00 per year for my stairlift. They managed to put so much oil on it, it poured out all over my stair carpet ruining it completely. When called out to effect a repair for an intermittent fault, never in the whole 5 years did they manage to find and fix it. Eventually the maintenance expired, they never fixed it satisfactorily and now have the cheek to want£125.00 call out fee. How can i be sure they will fix it this time
When I complained, their attitude was un helpful. They disputed my account of their failure, denied all liability and lied about their performance claiming to have fixed the fault each time I will never use them ever again for my mobility needs. Cowboys.

After they'd made the sale they didn't care about customer service

After a year and a month my mum's stairlift batteries failed and soon after that the seat swivel function stopped working and also the sliding track function.
Certainly the 'not fit for purpose batteries' should have been detected at the 1 year service. Hampshire mobility washed their hands of any accountability and said I should have bought the extended warranty, which they said they put in the posted. But I don't think they did send it or they forgot to. I asked why the warrenty was not emailed and the reply was: "elderly people often don't have emails" (very patronising). Everything else had been emailed, the quote, the invoice the T&Cs etc. It suggests a scam to me. Hampshire mobility said the cause of the battery failure can be misuse... my mum used the chair correctly, she is not heavy and it was used just 3 or 4 times a day.
The product was expensive, it's rubbish and Hampshire mobility really don't care.

DO NOT BUY INVACARE PRODUCTS

Hampshire Mobility Services provided us with a Invacare Rea Azalea wheelchair.
The footrest rail failed through metal fatigue and the foot plate hit the ground almost throwing our relative out of the chair.
HMS have done their best to have this covered by the warranty that Invacare provide. However, Invacare claim that the damage to the foot rest was done before the break of the rail and thereby conveniently 'proves' that the footrest somehow hit the floor damaging the rail. Invacare are impossible to talk to directly in that you can speak to someone but they will just tell you to speak to the shop. You cannot leave a review on the Invacare website. HMS have accepted Invacare's version of events despite witnesses and have not felt able to pursue this further leaving our relative having to pay for a failed product.
DO NOT BUY INVACARE PRODUCTS, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WARRANTY ARE WORTHLESS

This awful company took my elderly…

This awful company took my elderly parents money (£3K) for a stairlift and months later (well after the 6 weeks installation date) there is no stairlift and no communication and no refund. My poor mother had a stroke and needed this stairlift. What an awful company.

I was a bit reluctant to buy anything…

I was a bit reluctant to buy anything on line however it couldn’t of been better. Jak was helpful from sale to delivery and must of become frustrated with all the checks I was doing because I was doing everything through messenger. First class customer service and first class electric wheel chair purchased. Thank you Jak. If ever I need anything else you will be the first port of call.

Good stairlift, disappointing customer service

Although the installation was good and the stairlift is working well, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We paid the entire cost up front as we were told this would reduce the usual 4 week wait, however it then took around 7 weeks for the install to happen. There was a lack of proactive communication from the company during the time we were waiting, and we were given install dates and information which wasn't correct. I hope that our experience is a one off and that other customers have a better experience.

Hampshire mobility services

I arranged for Hampshire mobility services to visit my mum with regards to having a stair lift fitted . As I live in Spain it was all done via email and they were excellent . The quote was good and mum went ahead and had it fitted within 2 weeks . She is now happily whizzing up and down on it ! The fitter was great ,explained everything clearly to get . Excellent service , definitely recommend them

Stair Steady to the rescue!

We were very impressed by the efficiency of the whole operation. From first enquiry to completion of installation took just two weeks. I am recovering from a badly fractured ankle and had been unable to go upstairs for several months. Stair Steady has made a huge difference to my mobility during the two weeks since installation and has greatly improved my self confidence. A big thank you to Hampshire Mobility Services and to Kevin in particular.

Stairlift Supply and Installation.

Stairlift Supply and Installation.
The service provided by Hampshire Mobility was excellent, all completed in one morning on the date agreed. We had a problem with the sensor on the Stairlift which we reported at 5.00pm on Thursday and an Engineer came out at 9.15am on the Friday to overcome the problem. This was a very good experience.

Extremely efficient service

Extremely efficient service. Stairlift fitted in a morning with no mess left behind. Simple instructions that my parents could understand even though they have dementia. Thank you to all concerned at Hampshire Mobility.
