Effortless and hygienic way to get rid of neighbour's cat mess in the garden

Our neighbour's cats leave a lot of mess in the garden every night. It was a nightmare to deal with: that horrible smell and feel. Handiscoop (the short one) just took care of that all - clean, easy and effective. I feel like I got the joy of being out in the garden back.
I don't currently have a dog, but if I did there is no way ever I would be picking up after him like all those people grabbing hot mess by hand when I have this amazing little tool.

Idea is ok but falls short

Idea is ok but in reality they’ve missed a real opportunity. I bought this as a wheelchair user and have just got a new puppy. It needs a much easier clip to keep it closed and also needs to fold. Wheeling my chair with a puppy, and an almost 3ft scoop is neither easy or convenient. Ok for at home use but out and about, nope.

EDIT: The 45cm is too short for anyone unable to bend. Please just consider making a folding option and it would be perfect.

Dear Helen, thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear the Handiscoop Easy Reach did not meet your expectation. We also sell a shorter 45cm Easy Walk version of the HandiScoop, that may be much more appropriate for your requirements.

Needs a bit more thought...

I purchased the 85cm easy-reach a few days ago from Pets at Home.
I am unable to bend forwards so I thought that this particular item would solve my problems on a walk. However I was wrong. I don't have enough hands to deal with the Handi~Scoop, an exuberant Rottie and the poop he had just done.
I have arthritis in my hands and so gripping the tab on the loop and pulling to lock the jaws closed was not possible. A single handed "click on~click off mechanism would be more helpful.
So my doggo does his poo and I have to pick it up~ I need one hand to hold him and two hands to deal with the Handi~Scoop bag, not easy because the jaws need to be together in order to tie the bag...
It works in the garden when all I need to do is pop his offerings into a bin but on a walk not so much.
It is a great idea to have a poop scoop of a suitable length to eliminate the need for bending but if this is meant for use on a walk it's not it.
