I will start by saying that if you are looking to buy a Handpan and/or accessories, and need guidance, look no further HandPanShop.nl is THE place.
Bear with me, this it a bit long, but worth reading, it will give you the trust you need to invest with HandPanShop.nl in a such a beautiful, soul touching instrument.
No, I am neither biased nor paid for this review. It is all my true and honest self experience.
The store has a beautiful and warm atmosphere, you are greeted with smiles and people wanting to help and guide you making you feel at home.
I left the store super happy after buying a beautiful D Kurd 432 Hz. I was visiting from Mexico so I was given the choice to take it with me o have them send it to Mexico. I chose the latter. This was July 2025.
Now let me tell you my story so you can understand better why I recommend HandPanShop.nl so strongly.
When finally the package arrived at Mexican customs, the amount of bureaucratic procedures and the high tariffs (60% of the instrument's value) requested to liberate the instrument, were absurd.
After several months of my Handpan being buried in Mexican customs they returned it to the Netherlands, where it sat in customs for several more months until just today, 7 months later, the Handpan was finally back at the the store, luckily intact.
In the middle of all of this mess and the time it took, Henk-Jan Pelle, the owner, was not only involved every step of the way looking to assist, but went even further, he reimbursed me without even having the instrument back, simply trusting he would.
The absolute best in customer service.
I am very grateful with everyone at the store for their guidance and teachings, of course Henk-Jan specially, he is a true gentleman of his word!
