Excellent service, they completed the job very well but I had a little issue with a staff

My guy placed the TV exactly where and at the height that I requested. Great service. I highly recommend Handy!

This company is a scam. They were charging my credit card for months for cleanings I never had. When I went to use the credits, they deactivated my account, and customer service (only by chat) was never able to give me an answer, and they disconnected the chat. stay away!

The cleaning crew came ready to get right to work. They had supplies and equipment for the job. They listened to what I wanted and things went smoothly.

Bait and Switch Tactics - Avoid Handy at all Costs
I booked Handy for a thermostat installation on December 28th at 10 AM. At 9 AM that day, they emailed to reschedule for December 30th at 6 PM. Incredibly, at 5 PM on the 30th, they rescheduled again for January 8th.
This is completely unacceptable. It seems like Handy has a pattern of baiting customers with appealing booking times and then endlessly rescheduling until people give up. Reading other reviews, it's clear I'm not the only one who has experienced this.
It feels like a deliberate scam to keep installation fees without doing the work. I'm extremely disappointed.
I strongly advise anyone considering Handy to look elsewhere for reliable service.

I've been using Handy for a few years using home cleaners. I've not had any problems other than canceling a booking. My last booking was canceled 24 hrs in advance and they issued me a credit because they charged me for it (which was dumb). Trying to use the credit issued is usually straight forward right? You'd think it would apply to your next booking... Nope, they try to add the credit to future bookings to keep you with a weekly plan. I'm done with this POS company. I'm also disputing the charge with my cc company and, I'm canceling my account. It's a shame that some business owners think that in order to have a business that thrives you need to rip people off. The people they hire are dodgy too. They say they'll show up and they don't and they'll bill you for that too.

Needed to mount a TV in the room that was recently completed. I had a kind of renovation in the room, the design, furniture and all that. TV was the last thing to be mounted to the wall.
I asked these guys for a help, booked specialists, specifying the date and the time, the application was completed quickly and without any troubles. It was surprising.
Then, the next day guys arrived and helped to install the TV correctly. The payment was minuscule, which is also delightful for me. Kudos, to ya'll

There is NO WAY that Handy has a 4.2 star rating. They have zero customer service, zero accountability, and will do all they can to ensure they get your money whether you get an actual service from them or not. Pay your teenage kid to do whatever task you were going to ask Handy to accomplish. At least then you know you stand a decent chance of getting decent service.
Edit: I have again reached out to both LG and Handy and still have little hope that I will see this problem resolved.

Avoid this company. They not only overcharge but also refuse to issue refunds, even when the professional cancels at the last minute, leaving you stranded. There’s no way to reach customer service by phone—only a chat option where I waited over an hour for assistance, only to receive no real help. They claimed I canceled the service, which was untrue, and the professional blatantly lied. To make matters worse, the professional called me at work, attempted to renegotiate a time more convenient for him, and even suggested I pay him directly outside the app. The experience was incredibly unprofessional and shady, both on the part of the service and the individual they hired.

Scheduled an apt 2 weeks in advance. Stayed home from work. They canceled 1 hour before appointment time. They rescheduled without my consent for a Friday night. Two days later. I went online to cancel and get a refund. That took 45 minutes.

Handy rubbish sent out a guy and his team to clear a house of rubbish. I am in the trade so was able to negotiate a fair price. The guys that arrived were absolutely amazing but I discovered 40% of their earnings go to Handy Rubbish who are based overseas and just sub the work out. This amount is before they tip. Not a fair set up at all.

Purchased an install from Lowe's, who uses handy. I never got a name of the installer or any contact information, i was unable to get the information from them. on the day of the scheduled install i got a message saying they had to reschedule because they did not have a pro to do the installation. This is unacceptable from any company.
Their customer service sucks they kept sending me to their parent company Angi who just kept telling me to wait they would find a pro at some point.
Again this is unacceptable.
how can you schedule an installation before you have anyone set up to do the work.

Horrible company. I used them for a 6 month trial for cleaning and the last cleaning the cleaner stole clothes, money in private areas so they went through all my stuff, phone chargers, and probably more but that’s what I noticed so far. They also left my freezer open and a light in a cabinet in my kitchen that melted a bag and couldn’t caused a fire. I filed a claim but I doubt they do anything. Don’t ever use this company for anything

I just got off the phone. I had purchased a TV from Target who used Handy to perform the installation. Well, I thought I had scheduled the service, but I got no response via email. When I went on Handy's chat service, I was told that I needed to call Target back to fix the issue. After going thru two phone people at Target, they sent me back to Handy which had no idea what I was talking about. I've given up and will contact a third party to get my TV mounted.

I first encountered Handy when I bought a Google Nest thermostat that included installation.
Google referred the scheduling to Handy. I've now had FOUR different appointments and each time NO ONE has shown up.
Every time I contact Handy about this (and you have to use chat, the phone number DOES NOT work), all they want to do is reschedule. Then (like GroundHog Day), it happens all over again. I wait around and NO ONE shows up.
I'm now going back to Google Home so they understand what a problem and embarassment this company is to them.

This is the worst company that we have dealt with while setting up our house. We reserved two times and requested for a handyman for two job. Both the times, they cancelled the job stating that "Handyman not available just the day before". And here is the worst part, they don't refund your money to your credit card. They refund it to your Handy Account. Who does that? The first time, they did not refund our money to our credit card, we went ahead and booked another service and they asked for more money. So, we went ahead; but then again they cancelled the service and then we are stuck with $178 in our Handy account. Handy, you guys have a horrible Business model and its a very cheap and unreliable way to do business. Shame on you Guys.

I hired a professional they charge me $200 for cleaning and then they replace them with an illegal migrant man and I was extremely scared. I tried to cancel the booking and they refused. This is a bait and switch. They bait you with this really great cleaner with great reviews, and then they switch it at the last minute to a scary criminal

The machine I hired leaked everywhere. When I complained they said they would need to get an engineer to look at the machine. Never heard from them again. Shockingly poor 💩
customer service .

Amazing installation. The two guys left the TV square and plumb against the wall so over time, it won’t tip to one side. Left the TV clean and spotless.
