Items that are badly damaged and normally advertised as a/f (as found) are not so identified here.
Yes.. they tell you if you ask… but there is a thin line between deliberate deception in making a description and perhaps they come near to it!

i attempted to register for an auction end of march 2025. they never responded. they never said yes or no. i sent 7 emails. i called invaluable, which is their platform. they did nothing.
i had two disputes over 10 years. one occured at the same time my wife died. i bid but not pay because i was in the hospital. when i came out i offered either to pay the entire amount or the difference with the underbuyer. they could not be bothered. the other dispute with a belgiun auction house i found cheating.
i don't mind if hannams auction refused . but they never bothered to at least hear my side of the story. i even offered to put up in cash my bid before the auction date(150 pounds). nothing. disgusted with invaluable as well. sorry we have no authority. so what are they good for??????

Item I won at auction through Invaluable was not as described orquality I expected for the price. Minimum postage - even for single or small items is £20. They dont allow you to cancel bid at 10% charge like other auction houses either.
The hardwood stand that I won in their auction was broken when it arrived,it was badly broken but the way it was packed securly was impossilble for this to happen in transit,but when contacting them they insisted that it must have happened in transit and quoted me the legal rangle and said that nothing more could be done!
