Less than two years after purchasing the product, it started to deteriorate becoming completely unusable a few months later. As Hans Grohe advertises a 5-year warranty as part of company philosophy, I decided to get in touch. And that’s where things started to go wrong big time.
I understand that products can fail. That is when customer service steps in. Unfortunately, the Hans Grohe customer service is one of the worst I have come across. Naturally, it was all my fault. Apparently, I installed the hose the wrong way around. If the product is so fragile, why is it not made clear that committing this mistake will lead to its rapid demise?
I sent images and the invoice and was told that I was lying because the images I presented and the invoice don’t refer to the same item, which is both ludicrous and insulting. I have asked to speak to the manager and sent an email to the head office address. Both have been ignored.
Hans Grohe products are premium products. People spend more because they expect superior quality and service. Hans Grohe failed on both. Even the basic customer service rule of never insulting your customers is not part of the company philosophy.
The entire experience was irritating and extremely disappointing. I will never buy Hans Grohe products again.
