Worhtless website, dont trust

Dear all people I am a just normal citizen of the Netherlands from Amsterdam.
As you all know its Corona time and as a single and lonely man you are looking for companionship. Its doesnt matter what kind friend or future relationship.
As manny hundreeds of people registered in this website I am registered to.
How does Happn works what I could and have discovered.
When you are new and you have just download the app but you didnt pay any Euros cent every profile you click its a crash.Ok , you write them a normal polite mesage. 80-90 % these profiles you wrote them your first mesage they never answer and these who answered they send you a mesage I am sorry not interested. My question to you dear Happn, how can you match someone when they are not going to have any further contacts.
Next thing is, all these profiles 80% are non existed profiles or they have taken from the other sites.
I mean com on in 3-4 months there must be any woman who would like to and who will answer you .
There is no choice to change your preferences.
after 1 month you have been registered , you have got 0 and 0 and 0 and again 0 crashes.
So, when you have paid than you get again 0 and 0 and again 0 replies.
With other words this web site sucks.
Dont waste your time here .
They just want to take your money.
I mean com on ,I even tested , I have clicked in
to 100%of the profiles likes. There must 1 from the profiles who will respond to you.
If there was a 0 stars or -0 stars I would give to these worthless website.

Bad app worse management...

I got banned for no reason. I received a message on my instagram from a man saying: what a pitty! you are so beautiful and it is a shame that you have sponsored content in your instagram ( I copied pasted my description from another app to Happn) so you will get banned for that.. and some other strange things ( I think the dude was called Kevin)

After a minute, I got bloody banned! no questioning if I had sponsored posts( I dont!). This is a shi-tty app run by shi-tty people and shi-tty direction. You cannot ban someone just because a dude thinks I am making a business.. AVOID AT ALL COST! I am happy I didnt pay for any of their subscription but they can freely trafficate with my data.. DISGUSTING

Bit scammy that I've been swiping away for months and have never matched with the 8 people that "liked me"

Pay 30 quid to see them...I think not....the whole thing stinks.

Give it a pass.

Don't bother with it!

Let's be honest here, it is an awful app! Why I paid £80+ for subscription on an app that only shows people who live 30 or 60 miles plus that you haven't even past or been near! None of the matches who I have spoken to have been near Stoke or Crewe which are the only places I have been due to where I live and work. 9/10 are fake/scam profiles too as they have the scam emails on the bio's and all over their photos which shows happn have no controls over stopping them and are certainly not interested in protecting your rights. You have to pay subscription to even chat which is disgusting. The customer services are a waste of time because there is no way to stop subscriptions unless you go direct to Google Play and put a complaint in about happn not cancelling subscription as requested. It's the worst app you can ever imagine! Don't waste your time with it, trust me! Even POF and Match are better than this crap!

Not worth using

Happn has changed so much, you are unable to even match with people who liked you without upgrading fro subscription, a whopping £30 per month!! When I contacted customer services I got a very patronising response. Would not recommend.

Creepy and disturbing

Poor focus on antisocial behaviour prevention, no vetting of people which is absurd considering the app’s default setting is to share your approximate location with strangers, and the time when you crossed paths!

I had the app for one day only and received threats from a guy just because I did not reply to him for 3 hours after we had spoken just the once. He threatened me, highlighted several times he now knows the area where I live thanks to Happn, and kept insulting me.

I reported to Happn and all I got was an automated in app message that they hid my profile from him. I’m receiving threats and all I get is an automated message and not even a follow up or an email confirmation.

Seems like a dangerously irresponsible approach for an app which is centred around crossing locations in the physical world to have no vetting and inadequate customer support. I would never use again.

you know its fake when it advertises…

You know its fake when it advertises school uniform wearing virgin misfits who have never had sex and contact u without you contacting them with one word greeting. I can just imagine marketing people deciding this is the way to get depressed ugly lonely men. I rcd a text that advertised 1 month subs with tiny print at 1 am. it' said 20 dollars for a month, but in minuscule print it was 80 /160 dollars for a service that as 6 people in your area. With zero transparency of what you are clicking on. If you download the app it will basically send you prompts constantly until you accidentally click. It's wrong. It's designed to messages you so many times and at so late an hour you wont be able to see the small print. And there is no confirmation button like on amazon and pretty much every app that isnt preying on people. W When it knows you realise this and there are no subscribers. It reactivate old profiles as if they are current. this stuff should be banned. I just had several one word messags from people they created. Luckily I work in commercial law and am in government! So I'm used to this financial fruad. if they have caught you on constant fake messages and misleading advertising, employees faking profiles, them go to google and post fake profiles. Pls auto one click unsubscribe/refund. this is literally fraud. This is not legal! Luckily it is illegal everywhere if you can provide prof. These sights prey on people not saying as it will advertise they are lonely, it's sexist to the max and illegal. Sub'd to many dif apps and sating sites, but this site is quasi legal fraud.

Passing the buck!!

I have been back and forth between google and happn re a refund and neither of them are owning the responsibility to resolve my issue. Google were a little bit more helpful by reportedly having escalated my case. I am stuck between the two as a lay working person just trying to get my money back. This has been going back and forth for sometimes now. I JUST NEED THIS SORTED!!
