Loyal and Happy Appsumo Backer
I backed this once on AppSumo and am pleasantly surprised that my lifetime allowance is indeed exactly that- time to give appsumo their flowers. Never once have I been contacted by Happy Scribe to say that this was a promotional period only and that they were trying to extract more money from me, etc., etc. The software just works; it is absolutely rapid and is a great fallback for me to transcribe meeting notes when my Plaud allowance has been expended. I could not recommend highly enough. It has also helped me out in creating transcription for foreign films, which again is rapid and highly accurate. Just a great software that does exactly what it says, but quicker than you expect. A rare example of something that just works. Each and every time. Well done, Happy Scribe.

Absolute Garbage
Absolute Garbage. Do not sign up or wait to create accounts
Their site pretends to upload and transcribe. You wait.
Then they say you gotta signup to get the transcription.
So you signup. Once signup is done they pretend to generate the whole transcription. But will stop midway.
Then they'll ask you to pay despite initially on the frontpage saying that "No credit cards required" to try.

Hi there, sorry this felt misleading. Our free trial gives you 10 minutes of transcription with no credit card needed. On a 30-minute file, for example, the first 10 minutes are transcribed for free and a subscription unlocks the rest.
The idea is to give you enough to judge the quality before you pay anything.

Look no further - great product
Great product - very accurate and detailed. It picks up even fait conversation in a large group with non-native English speakers. Love the summaries and AI chat function. And it has strict privacy protection to boot.
