Been looking at getting a VW Transporter T6 for some time now but despite doing lots of research I have found it a bit of a minefield. Very scary for someone like me that knows very little about the mechanics and what to look out for. Well after seeing a VW Transporter T6.1 at Hardydubs that has been well looked after and at a good price for a 3yr old van, I finally felt confident enough to take a look. Well so glad I did. The van is in great condition and excellent value in comparison to others I have been looking at. Nick was lovely guy, very open, honest and helpful. Thank you for putting me at ease. I am so pleased with my purchase and looking forward to lots of dog agility adventures with my girls🐕.

Frustrates me to see a 1 star review has ever been left. Customer must be clueless as I’ve purchased over 10 campers now for our raffle company and each and everyone is perfect every time. It’s no longer a worry, we order what we need, the camper gets built to how we want it and we simply go and collect. Thanks for everything!

I've always wanted to own a campervan so after hiring one to test the waters eventually being hooked the hunt to find the right van started.I saw one stunning looking van for sale but my initial enquiry (first contact with Nick) was replied to "sorry its been sold BUT I have another which is nearly finished. Regular non pressured contact from Nick eventually the van is done. Nick sent a load of photos through this was the one. I got the train down to Barnsley was picked up by Nick taken back to his workshop. The van was stunning. A full detailed demonstration of the full workings was given by Nick for a first timer was very informative. The workmanship of the conversion was flawless. The van was bought. After sales support is always there. The van has been used frequently since I bought it with no issues whatsoever. The whole experience of wanting one to seeing one to buying one and using one was made so effortlessly Thanks Nick... If you're a Newby and looking for a first van look no further than Hardyvdubs..

We bought a VW T6.1 converted camper from Nick. Nick was friendly informative. Not pushy at all. He was very accommodating and gave honest advice and recommendations. The van is beautiful we love it and cannot wait to start adventures in it. With the high spec conversion we will be the envy of the campsites Would def recommend Hardyvdubs and would not hesitate to drive nearly 2 hours to purchase from him again . Thanks again Nick .

Excellent service all round. I brought a VW caddy which had some great modifications, 19” alloys, coilovers, interior seats and cab upgrades. The quality of the parts used and installation were of a very high standard. The caddy looks and drives like new. Nick is very friendly and relaxed he gave me the keys to check out the van without any sales pressure which was refreshing. The quality of his work sells for itself. Well worth the travel. So if you’re looking to get a transporter camper or Caddy van Nick is your man.

Having looked at numerous places for a camper van conversion we stumbled across Hardyvdubs in Barnsley where we met Nick, what a breath of fresh air he was, down to earth, honest, and very knowledgeable about every aspect of owning a camper. Not only is it his job but it’s his passion too, he went above and beyond to adapt the van for not only to use as a camper but also to use for work purposes, nothing was too much trouble, he was always at the end of the phone with any questions I had, the only negative we had about him was the choice of football team he supported! We would 100% recommend him to anybody who is wanting to buy a camper.

Seen a camper i was interested in so gave them a call. Spoke to Nick. Very helpful and honest over the phone. He was very confident that the van i was interested in would be sold to the first person who seen it. I am a couple of hours away from Nick and he said if i was to get the train he would pick me up from train station and if i didnt buy the van he would pay for my train ticket. He picked me up but didnt need to pay for my ticket as the van was just as expected. Tip top quality conversion and in immaculate condition. 100% recommend hardyvdubs for your next camper.

We were looking for our first campervan and had been to see a few but the moment we met Nick at HardyVdubs we knew we were going to buy from him!

He’s very knowledgeable and answers all of your stupid questions (without laughing… well, a little bit of laughter, he has a great sense of humour!).

The workmanship of the conversion is superb, with lovely touches like the solid wood work tops and table which gives it a unique feel. We have had many compliments!

We haven’t had reason to test out the after sales service yet but I’m 100% confident that it would be as excellent as the rest of the service.

We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending HardyVdubs. Thank you Nick for making our campervan dream a no hassle reality :-)

We have just purchased our first VW Camper from HardyVdubs.
Buying a van from a dealer hundreds of miles away can have its pitfall’s but rest assured Nick is a great guy to deal with .
Excellent communication throughout the whole process , nothing was too much trouble when I wanted to add a few extras.
The build quality is excellent , we are so happy with our purchase .

We had been looking for a VW camper for a while when we chanced across Hardy V Dubs. Straight away from speaking with Nick on the phone we felt confident in putting our faith into him and parting with our hard saved cash. We picked up the camper a month ago and to be honest have spent more time in it than at home!
The van has been faultless and very well put together. All of the components Nick used in construction have been spot on and his knowledge and advice has been invaluable. We're new to the whole campervan scene but have a few die hard VW Transporter mates who have all given it the once over. They were all mega impressed with the build quality and the bits used to put it together. Some nice little touches and extras and is a well thought out build/layout. Better than many we looked at that were up for a lot more ££££!! No issues so far but we so wish we had had an extra sliding window put in the sliding door to give a bit more ventilation in the back. No fault of Nicks though as we worked to a budget. Buy with confidence! Top tip - We bought an engine undertray for additional protection (Ebay £50) as these don't always come with one!

Over the past few months I had been looking for a T6.1 camper. I was on Facebook and noticed one of Nick’s at Hardyvdubs in Indium grey and fully kitted out plus looked in excellent condition. I drove up and knew this was the one, had that feeling immediately, cracking conversion. Nick is a great guy, knows his stuff and couldn’t do enough to explain the camper and the loads of questions I had being new to the scene. Within an hour I agreed to purchase and the next day got the train up and drove it home. As mentioned, I’m new to the camper scene and Nick has been great with any questions I have had since buying. Only happy to help which shows what a great guy he is and business he runs, as a customer knowing you have that confidence in such a purchase adds so much value. Thanks Nick
