We do not have to take the scooter apart to travel and we have more room in the SUV. No more lifting for my wife of 52 1/2 years.

Stairlift annual check-up
First we were told the service man would be here at 1:30. He arrived after 3:00p.m. With no explanation.
He did not seem to know what he was here for or familiar with having an annual stairlift check-up to ensure the system is working correctly.
The initial installation service included two handrails. One handrail has a loose plate that can be screwed back but it not secure. All you have to do is touch it and it is loose again. He screwed it back but was told it was not stable and continues to come loose. He just shrugged. His attitude was non-chalant. The service call charge was $207 which is a rip off for doing what we could do e.g., take a brush and just go down the rail. We were not feeling impressed with the service as we had been in the past.

I was scheduled through the VA to…
I was scheduled through the VA to receive a power chair and lift for my car. I also received a ramp to my front door. I received a phone call from Harmar Mobility telling me about the equipment I was to receive and dates and addresses of the business that would provide these services. The entire experience was smooth and painless, the representatives polite.

Allowed my husband to remain in his home
My husband used the lift for approximately 15 months before he passed away. It enabled him to remain in our home and we were both very thankful for that. I have kept it and use it to transport clothing and other items up and down the stairs. Someday I might need it to transport me.

We have had the unit for close to 2 years and it works great.I’m 79 now and was around 77-78 when I installed it myself.Great product.I’m 6’-6” 230lbs and it Carry’s me easily.We also use it to ferry clothes up or down to be washed.

I have two of these lifts
I have two of these lifts. One on my car and another on motorhome. Had the one on car installed by a dealer, the second one on the motor home a neighbor helped me. Took some time getting it set for my scooter since it was not the same as the swing away on car. They are wonderful allowing independence.

All around terrific!
Fast service. Installation within a week of purchasing. Better price than from other company. Very personable and competent sales gal and installation person. Stairlift has been used for almost 6 months now by 2 people. What a God send!

A lift for me and you
I find the lift for my folding wheelchair to be well made and perfect for my chair. It’s not always easy for me to use it as I am an amputee and must rely on a walker when operating the left and loading my chair. This has nothing to do with the lift’s design.
