Kate Brackenbury was my recruiter contact at Harper's and she was wonderful to work with. I applied for a position at a law firm that interested me and while I did not get the advertised position, Kate put me forward for another role within the firm that she thought would be a good fit. Throughout the whole process, Kate was very supportive and friendly and I really felt looked after and advocated for. I ended up receiving a better than anticipated offer thanks to Kate's hard work and I couldn't be more pleased. I would definitely recommend Harper's for anyone looking for expert knowledge, guidance and support as well as a friendly and approachable team.

I was faced with a nightmare situation the week before Christmas 2023 as I was let go by my previous employer after 6 weeks of employment. I contacted Kate (Monday) to see if Harpers had any temporary work that I could be considered for after Christmas whilst looking for something more permanent. Kate mentioned that she was working on a permanent BDM role that matched my skillset and experience and would like to put me forward for the opportunity. Kate put together an amazing profile to convince the employer to offer me an interview even though I didn't quite have the product knowledge, background or experience the company were looking for originally. Kate successfully booked a first stage interview (Thursday) which went really well and led to the 2nd interview being booked in for the next day (Friday - last day before Christmas holidays). An offer was made to me on the Friday afternoon which I delightfully accepted. Kate did such an amazing job and had took the time to create a fantastic profile to convince the employer that I had the transferable skills required to be considered for the role and arrange a first stage and 2nd stage interviews and handle and channel feedback from both myself and the employer. With a little help from Emma I accepted the role that offered a much better salary, bonus, company car scheme and development opportunities all within a week, which is unheard of. I can't thank Kate, Emma and the team enough for supporting me through such an horrendous situation with the commitments we all face plus having my first born due in March 2024. The swift action took by Kate and the team allowed my partner and I to have a fantastic Christmas a look forward to a very bright 2024!!! If you are considering trying to find a new role then I would highly recommend Harpers recruitment. Thank you Kate, Emma and team for such a wonderful experience.

I had a great experience with Harper. I was initially hesitant of using recruitment agency afraid it'll be a long process to get a job, but something completely opposite happened. I applied for a role on Wednesday night, received initial call from Harpers on Thursday morning, scheduled interview for Monday, second round on Friday and was told on the same day I got a job. The whole process took just over a week. Holly was my consultant and she was a pure pleasure to work with right from the beginning. Her positive attitude, professionalism and smily personality made the whole process easier and more relaxing. She was always available to answer all of my questions, gave me valuable tips about the company and even called on a day of interview to test the video and sound (since I was nervous about having my first virtual interview). Have to say that my interaction whilst applying for employment has been seamless with Harper. I originally saw an advert on Indeed for a post I was interested in. The post was within a national institution and something I really wanted to peruse. Harper and especially Paige from the Nottingham Office managed the whole process very effectively. From my initial contact I was made to feel valued and treated with respect, all the way through to the completion of the process. I had a few tests and telephone calls/interviews and these were always in a timely manner backed up with email and text confirmations. If I was told I’d receive an email or a telephone call I received it. The requisite tests were via zoom and telephone. Sending documents/retuning test papers is all electronic. I was fortunate to be offered the post but even if I hadn’t, I still intended to post a positive review based on the professionalism of Paige and Harpers. I have worked/been employed by other recruitment agencies who I can honestly say do not come close to Harpers

I initially rang after seeing a post advertised on indeed with Harper Recruitment. Spoke to a lady that didn’t deal with the post I was after. No more than 30 mins later I spoken to Rebecca Spicer. This is when my experience went from 0-100. She was amazing. Keeping me in the loop and listening to what I had to say. She helped me get through to the interview stage and beyond. Always ringing to check in how it went. After each interview. Very calming and happy demeanor. Gave me the confidence to really push myself in my interviews. Fantastic experience. Even though I’ve now got my job she said if there’s anything she can do up until I start, probably beyond that too, then she would help. I feel that’s just who she is. Anyway a credit to the company. She should be proud of herself and her job. She better see this or at least be told about it. My name also comes through as standing when it should be Pierce.
