Zero Communication

On 1 March, I received my much anticipated delivery of the Federal console table which I ordered on 16 December! After unpackaging and spending an hour assembling it, I am extremely disappointed. It is flimsy and completely unbalanced! The legs do not all reach the floor which means it wobbles and therefore does not serve it’s purpose. You can see where the metal is soldered together that it is not at a right angle and therefore I am unable to get the legs straight. I have contacted HausDirect 3 times since 1 March and have not received a single response. I have paid in full for my item and it is defunct. Terrible service.

Love my new wardrobe

Received my new wardrobe within the expected timescales as stated when ordering. The quality is amazing and I’m very pleased with my purchase. I’ll be ordering another as soon as I can as I love it so much. Was worried after reading the reviews as hadn’t checked them, however my concerns proved to be wrong and I received updates along the way. Delivery man was also very friendly.

Do not order from this site

Do not order from this site - my money was taken almost 4 months ago and I have nothing received my item. I’ve repeatedly called, emailed and messaged on social media and out of about 15 attempts to contact them I received one response, promising my chest of drawers would be delivered at the beginning of February. It’s now 9th March and still nothing. Save your money and don’t make the same mistake I did.

Great products, service and value for money

Having not seen the bad reviews until after I had placed my order, I expected to encounter issues. However, this was not the case. My sofa and chairs arrived within the timespan quoted on the website despite being in lockdown. I was very satisfied with the company's communication and the delivery company used. Great quality products and value for money. Would definitely order from this company again.

They broke their own T&Cs by billing me…

They broke their own T&Cs by billing me on order and not on dispatch. No answer to phone, e mail or help desk tickets. I am sceptical about the review stats here as the majority fall into poor with a few at 5*
Don’t give yourself a road to angst; find a company you can trust.

Exceeded expectations!

Incredibly sceptical after reading all the bad reviews, but I'm so glad I went for it and ordered my desk! Customer service was fantastic, my order arrived well in advance and the courier bought it directly to my flat. Couldn't be happier ☺

OMG wish I had looked here first

OMG wish I had looked here first. Absolute terrible company. Still not received order, won't answer phone or emails. Really cant believe a company can be run this poorly. Next port of call is my bank or trading standards. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE!!!

Like many others be careful

Like many others ordered, continually see order processing despite items being shown in stock.
Contacted through online form and get a stock reply, followed up by e-mail and nothing so calling next but not expecting much.
Be clear, they state “no money will be taken until dispatch” and as with others this is utter rubbish as billed immediately, so they have my money and no goods or contact.

The worst company I've ever had the…

The worst company I've ever had the misfortune of ordering from. Ordered 11th July, received the product 24th November. I tried to reach out by phone to see what was causing the delay and kept being told that "somebody will call you back with more info", which never happened. I submitted a ticket on their online platform, which got completely ignored. I emailed, again ignored. All we needed was some form of communication to tell us what was happening but instead they just refused to acknowledge our existence. We have reported them to trading standards due to consistently advertising products as in stock and taking ongoing orders when they know full well that they have nothing to fulfill the order. Just do not even bother risking it with them. They do not deserve to be trading, and I'm certain it will not be long before they have to cease their operations.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Very poor - no customer service, no communication.
Did not delivery in their 6 week time frame, after 8 weeks asked Credit Card company to raise a dispute and get my money back also emailed to cancel order. Surprise surprise 2 weeks later the desk has been delivered. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.

Do not order from Haus Direct

Do not order from Haus Direct. You get a confirmation email for your order, they take the money from your account then you never hear from them again and the customer services department don't seem to exist because I have never managed to get through to anyone on the number provided. Just a switch board lady that says she will put you through and that's it.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE!

The worst company.

Desk took literally 3/4 months to arrive!

Sent back due to quality issues.

Go to John Lewis!

Communication is TERRIBLE as you have to hound them in order to get a response although simply phong them is the best way to go as they usually answer but then it takes days to get a result!

NEVER USE THESE JOKERS.

Genuine company, NOT scammers

I have to say, I was worried when I read so many negative reviews after ordering a desk on 17th September. I started to panic thinking I'd been scammed. However, this is a genuine company and I cannot fault their service.

After noticing my order was still showing as "pending processing I contacted them within a week of the order. My call was answered and I was given assurances my order would be fulfilled within the 30 days shown on the website. A week later I received a call from ITD International, the shipping company, to let me know my desk would be with me on 18th October.

I received it yesterday and I'm very happy with it. It's good quality and much cheaper from Haus than others selling it online.

I can only assume those who experienced delays have been victims of the challenging times everyone is facing at the moment because of this pandemic. Please don't worry, it's not a scam and you will receive your goods.

Thanks Haus Direct and sorry for doubting you.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! Ordered desks which they took money for straight away - took them 3 months to deliver only after we chased and escalated. Terrible / non existent customer care. Very unhappy customer experience

AVOID!

Please, please void Haus Direct. I ordered a chair on the 7th of August. After weeks and weeks of waiting with no updates, being unable to check anything on their site, and not being able to speak to anyone in their sales team, my order was cancelled today (14th October).

They are absolutely useless. They bill you, so they have your money, and then you never hear from them again. Zero customer service with no means of speaking to anyone.

I wish I had checked reviews before this absolute waste of time and money.

As nearly all other reviewers have said - AVOID THEM!

Order completed ........eventually

Ordered a Richmond desk 5 July 2020, it was delivered 7 October 2020 - 70 working days according to my calculations. I have previously left 3 reviews (all one star) on this order. The desk is really good, am very pleased with it, was flat pack but I managed to put it together ok and it is as described on the website. Good value for money so I can now confirm the company is genuine and will deliver your order ... eventually.

Haus really do need to look at their processes - they say they take payment on delivery - but this is....well, its hard to say its anything other than false. Their interpretation of 'delivery' is very different to the average consumer... they actually take payment on order. Maybe delivery was genuinely delayed because of Covid - but their comms can only be described as appalling. When Haus say an item is in stock ... it isn't they don't carry stock, they order from the manufacturer where (in my case at least) it plainly was not in stock! I did get a call from Haus mid Sept to say the order would be delivered at the end of Sept / beginning of Oct, I also had email correspondence with them over the delays to my order - but they obviously do not understand why so many of their customers are complaining, they really do not get it and think customers should not complain and should interpret 'delivery' and 'order' in the same way they do.

Anyway, to finish on a good note - I am very happy with the desk, good quality and good value for money.

Item ordered over a week ago

Item ordered over a week ago. Money's been debited from my credit card. No communication re despatch, no one picks up on customer service telephone, voicemail is full. No reply to my emails. Ridiculous!
