Very very poor service still no goods 2 months after ordering

Very very poor. I have placed an order in 20th March and still have not received it 2 months later. I have emailed 20 times with no reply or responses at all I have also called 5 times and no one answers just saying hold as busy and then goes to a message to say leave message and we’ll call you back. The last time was 2 weeks ago and absolutely no call back at all. I’ve now emailed again but not holding out much hope. My order was £100 so I am out of pocket and no goods. Don’t know what else to do. Worse company I’ve dealt with will never order again.

Appalling service

Appalling service. I order an item and at the time was given a 3-7 day delivery window. And yet after two weeks of waiting and several calls full of misinformation, I have been told it will be another two weeks. I understand of the challenges that the present environment brings but such a complete disregard for customers is truly staggering. Suffice to say I have cancelled my order and will never either order from them again or tell anyone to do so.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling! Have placed an order on 27/04/2020. No communication so far! I have sent them emails, raised tickets, called numerous times, left voicemails- still nothing. Asked them for refund- no reply. Now have raised a dispute with my bank. Don’t know what else I can do. Don’t think I have ever dealt with such a bad company ever. I understand times are hard now, however they could have at least contacted me! They have my email, contact number! Leave a voicemail, or something to let me know what is going on. Please shop somewhere else! I do hope I can get my money back(((

Didn't experience any issues, pleasurable service

Having read reviews online after placing my order, I was skeptical as to the quality of the service. I decided to call (got through first try around 1pm) and spoke to a gentleman called Sam who I assume to be the owner of the company. He was nothing but courteous and we spoke about the reviews honestly, noting that its mostly only those who have something negative to say who leave reviews. It seems many people do not notice delivery times vary for many of the products on the site.

I ordered a chair from the website for my office and not only was it the lowest price available online, it also arrived well within the delivery times advised. I had no issues using the service whatsoever. My only qualm perhaps would be the invoice stated no monies would be taken until despatch (might be worth changing), and I did not receive a despatch notification. That being said the item arrived so quickly I couldn't really complain.

My advice would be to call and speak to Haus personally if you have any doubts, as it turned out to be one of my more enjoyable online shopping experiences! The chair is also great, thanks Sam!

Do yourself a favour....shop elsewhere!

All I can say to anyone buying from them is good luck. They have a standard modus operandi - it will be cheaper than you will have seen elsewhere. You will read the reviews and go ‘mine will be ok’.....but unfortunately there is a very great chance they will take your money and leave you sat there with no clue what is going on. No replies to emails, 6 minutes on hold and then it cuts into an answering service, but they won’t respond to your message, no response to twitter....and so it goes on. yes we are in difficult times, but this appears to be an awfully run company. Customers seem to be a real inconvenience to them. Do yourself a favour...go elsewhere and spend that extra £10....you will be better off!

Please for your own sake don't use

Beginning of the year we tried to by a TV stand, and it was slightly cheaper on Haus direct than elsewhere. Didn't really read reviews before hand, ordered and felt pleased we managed to find a deal. Received confirmation email (which states money will not be taken until item is dispatched) and payment was taken instantly. First concern was when we didn't receive any information about expected delivery.
Tried to contact to find out. Emails sent, with no response (not even automated reply). Rang their customer support number, and after 15 attempts my wife managed to get through. Guy on the other end was pleasant enough and said our item was being "QA'd and would be with us shortly". Date of latest delivery arrived and we haven't heard anything, so we try to contact again.
Emails not responded to (one of which received an automated reply), so we tried ringing again. On 7th call my wife manages to get through and they agree to cancel, saying money would be refunded within 48 hours. It wasn't, and wasn't for more than a week.

TLDR: If you MUST buy from them make sure you use a credit card.
Never received the item, didn't get a refund. Had to go around them to sort.

Great product and service from…

Great product and service from hausdirect.com we have been looking for a desk for sometime and the mini office was more than perfect for us. Great price too, can’t fault the service and quality in the item we have received, delivered within the delivery window advised. We have purchased before from this company and our experience has been fantastic each time. We shall be back!

Ordered an extreme lounger on the 25th Feb that was displayed as in stock with a 3-5 day delivery time. Still hasn't arrived and the website just says "processing"...they don't respond to emails and they never answer the phone!! **AVOID**

Ordered on the 3rd January 2020 and received my order 10 days later, product stated usual 5-10 days so for me this was a service experience I rate 10/10.

I read a number of reviews before ordering, some good some bad, I even called and spoke with a lovely gentleman called Sam twice who assured me our order was on schedule and would be booked in prior to delivery. What more can I ask for.

They advised me to use the help desk service which is handy but at 62 years old I do like to speak on the phone and am quite traditional in my ways. Maybe for the more online savvy generation but not for me unfortunately.

Pleasant company to deal with, no hesitation in returning, thank you haus Direct. All the best.

Do NOT buy anything from Haus Direct
I am going to keep the review of HAUS Direct factual, so you can make your own minds up if you should buy ANYTHING from this outfit. Even though I suspect that the Operations Manager or someone is going to respond to this review by refuting all of the information below explaining that their customer care is second to none and it is all my fault. Anyway here goes…..

My order was placed on the 21st Dec 2019, with a 5 to 15 day delivery window. My product was advertised online as, “In Stock”, so taking Christmas into consideration I would expect my product to be delivered at the latest by the 15th Jan 2020. However after placing my order and then reading the other reviews about the poor customer service, lack of communication and products not being delivered on time, I thought that I better get in touch to see how things were moving along. I raised 3 cases in total on the HAUS Direct website (Helpdesk) and was informed that a 48 hour response is to be expected……..I am still waiting now for any update and communication through this portal. To be fair the website operates in a slick manner and as far as first impressions are concerned it looks very good…..however this is clearly just a facade for the incompetence that sits behind it. The first ticket I logged was on the 6th Jan 2020, which I chased on the 8th to the Helpdesk, Sales Management and general Sales Team due to the lack of ANY response what so ever. I decided to give HAUS the opportunity to respond but they didn’t, this included the multiple voicemails that I was leaving. The voicemail service is also a complete joke; ring the number, receive no answer, wait on hold for 10 minutes then the Vodafone voicemail kicks in, I left a message on a number of occasions which no one has ever responded to. On the 10th Jan 2020 I struck GOLD and Sam picked up the phone and confirmed the following; the product was in the UK, it was with the courier company and they would be in touch during the following week to make arrangements for delivery, I should expect a call on the 14th Jan 2020………guess what that didn’t happen on any day of the entire week.

There was no communication from anyone in any format from Haus until I contacted them again on the 21st Jan 2020.

Due to the fact that I cannot spend all day chasing my furniture order, I didn’t contact Haus until the 21st Jan 2020 again via the website in the form of another ticket. On receipt of this submission I received an automated response informing me that my ordered was queued for booking, that Haus has had a busy January and thanks for my patience. At this point I decided (in my opinion) that what I had been informed on the 10th Jan 2020 may not have been correct. So since the 21st Jan 2020 I have been exchanging e-mails with Kirsty, at last a breakthrough in communication. This probably only happened when I informed HAUS in writing that I may look to cancel my order and request a refund. Since the 21st Jan 2020 I have been e-mailing at least twice a day (I feel sorry for Kirsty, because I bet she has to deal with numerous customers like me that are faced with the same predicament). I was informed on the 23rd Jan 2020 that I would be contacted on the 24th or latest the 27th Jan 2020, but again on both days no communication from anyone. At this point I decided enough was enough, I had been waiting around 5 weeks since I ordered this furniture and I was concerned that it would never show up. I e-mailed in the evening and informed Haus that I would like a refund. As if by magic the following day the courier company contacted me to make arrangements for a next business day service.

The product which is manufactured by Maja from Germany is very good and would purchase furniture from them again.

I cannot believe that any business operates like this ………As I say, you can make your own mind up, but I will NEVER be using Haus again for any future purchases.

Thank you for helping my father with…

Thank you for helping my father with his recent purchase, Sam took the time to talk my father through the steps to place his first ever order online and was very patient with him. You know a good company when you experience one first hand and no matter how large or small the order value my father a felt at ease with the Sam. The goods were delivered in 4 days despite Sam advising 5-10 days, even better than advised.

I have put the TV stand together and it looks great, assembly was straight forward too. Fabulous service from hausdirect and brilliant product guys 👍🏻

Buyer Beware

I highly recommend never buying anything from this company. I am still waiting for an order I placed at the beginning of November with a 4-6 week delivery time...12 weeks later still no item. I emailed several times and got no response. I called several times and it was incredibly difficult to get through - you get a very bad crackly line and an automated message that says 'you are in a queue and your call will be answered shortly' - but no one answers. You have to keep ringing and ringing until eventually you get through. I was advised that the desk I ordered comes in 3 boxes one of which is missing and so a replacement of that box was on it's way from Germany, due to arrive on 21st January 2020 - 5 weeks late. I have emailed to chase this but have had no response. They have already taken the money for this item so seemingly have no incentive to resolve this issue, I on the other hand am £269 down and without a desk. What is even more galling is that they have the audacity to still be 'selling' the same item online despite not being able to fulfil my order. I feel that I have been more than patient, (even allowing for the Christmas break), and what is most annoying and frustrating is being completely ignored with no sign of a resolution. What appalling customer service.

Very friendly staff and best price.

Very friendly staff, I was provided with a same day written quote for some Maja office furniture, It was also the cheapest quote i had received, I was advised it would take 6 weeks - 8 weeks due to the shipping time from Germany and it arrived on the 8th week.
I've now installed it all and its all perfect, extremely pleased with this purchase and with the service provided by Haus Direct. Will definitely use them again.

Avoid like the plague! I placed an order for over £600 two months ago and no sight of the item I ordered. I tried calling and writing them (I sent four emails to their customer service, sales and communication department) and got no response whatsoever!

Total Shambles

Ordered a bag for £375 18 working days ago. This is a premium product which should come with a premium service. I know they stated the bag would take 10 working days to come however I am now nearly double that. I am unable to call them over the phone as it goes to answerphone. Shambles of a company

Trying to return the item is impossible

Trying to return the item which took over a month to arrive as it looks nothing like it did on the picture. You cannot log in into your account on the website as it does not work, tried calling customer service (you cannot ever get through to them and leaving voicemail leads to nothing), e-mailed them a number of times and was promised by an automated email that someone will be in touch with me in 3 days maximum, still have not heard back from them. Worst company I have ever encountered. Furthermore when you get a delivery from them, it is to the front door of the building, the delivery company wouldn't even deliver it to the front of the flat of the building where there is a lift. Avoid at all costs and use other online companies.
