The designer for my project did a very good job...and the furniture pricing was competitive. However, that's when the quality of customer service declined. I was given a delivery date of September 17 to Oct 1st. Therefore I anticipated that the delivery date within that time period, probably towards the later date. I have to empty the furniture out of my living room and contacted the company for an updated schedule...after a few attempts to pin them down, I'm told that the scheduling is correct...the ship is due to dock on October 1st...not delivered to my home by 10/1 as they misleadingly represented.

I am so upset at this process. I have used Havenly twice before and loved it. This time I had to wait 6 weeks for the designer and after 2 months of design tweaks she still couldn't get the design down. I had to throw in the towel. I don't think she wanted to listen to what I wanted with the space at all. Would change the things I liked and add what I didn't. So upset the project didn't end where I wanted it. I am not purchasing from my board.

I signed up for Havenly with a designer in August and was told the designer would start working on my project on September 3rd. I logged in on September 6th to see the progress, and found out the designer had cancelled my project and a new designer had not been assigned to my project. So now, I am back in the queue to have another designer start on September 18th.
I should have been notified that the designer (Begona) left my project. Hopefully this new designer does a nice job. Unfortunately, I have already paid the fee....otherwise I would cancel and use another design service with better customer service and communication.

My designer, Tayler was fantastic. She listened to our needs and budget guidelines and put together a wonderful office design for us that we literally followed to the tee, it was that good!

The designer we were matched with was top-notch. We purchased the service that involved having him come to our house to take measurements. His design was fantastic and we were pleased.
But that is where our satisfaction ended. We purchased the recommended furniture through the Havenly site. Over the next few months it either came sporadically, was backordered, or arrived broken. We paid our housekeeper's son to run over to our house every time a package was delivered because it was unpredictable when things would arrive (the shipping info on the Havenly site was typically outdated). There is no way to talk to someone live at Havenly. You have to email a generic address and someone gets back to you a 1-3 days later. It takes 2-3 days for them to then address the issue. If there is an issue with the furniture delivered, it takes about 3-4 weeks to get a replacement. We also had furniture delivered unassembled which is not supposed to happen. Again, we needed to email Havenly, wait for a response, they emailed the seller and/or deliverer, which takes another few days, and then a few more weeks to get the issue taken care of.
When items are backordered, they refund the amount paid as an account credit which means that you have no option but to continue purchasing from them.
Save yourself - if they are recommending furniture from a major retailer like Pottery Barn or West Elm, buy from those companies directly. Any purported "discount" Havenly is offering is not worth it based on the hassle involved in actually getting the furniture delivered in the condition that is promised.
Update: Havenly just credited me $249 for the shipping on this latest furniture delivery fiasco and gave me a $300 merchandise credit for the "inconvenience and frustration." Not sure if I'll use the merchandise credit after all of this but I appreciate that someone other than me thought that my experience was highly problematic.

Thank you to Alejandra for your design expertise!
It has been such a fun experience creating a living room that our family will enjoy for years to come. Alejandra expertly picked up on my style and was so patient as I asked questions and revised a couple of options. She was prompt, pleasant, and wouldn't stop until I was 100% satisfied with the outcome (while remaining within budget). Thank you again!

Molly was a fabulous partner in designing both my daughter's and my bedrooms in our new home. She had on-point ideas right from the start and had such great suggestions it was almost as if she could read my mind when I couldn't articulate exactly what I was envisioning. When a product was sold out or wasn't exactly what I was looking for she was quickly able to find a replacement. Her responses were quick and, even though I felt like I was taking up a lot of her time, she always made it feel like she was having fun creating our beautiful new spaces. I can't wait to see the final results after our furniture arrives! I highly recommend Molly at Havenly for anyone who needs a keen eye for interior design.

Dinah was an amazing designer! She has a very good design eye and she puts a lot of attention at the decoration and your requests! If you purchase a package! I recommend going with Dinah S.

Prior to Havenly, I had used a service called "Modsy". It was so good! The platform gave you access to make changes real time in the 3D design and really see what things look like with different scenarios. Apparently, "Havenly" took over the platform and now you can no longer do this. Honestly, it has been the biggest waste of time ever. The designers are probably best positioned to design a dorm room. Do not ask them to design a living room. The $$ investment is negligible, but I can see why!!! You get what you pay for. It's horrible - do not waste your time!!!!

I started the process with Havenly and worked with a wonderful designer on two rooms. However after I placed my order I have had a poor experience with customer support.
Havenly does not provide customers with order numbers through their actual vendors (west elm, potter barn, etc) so you have to go through them for any order support once you make your purchase. However, Havenly does NOT provide customer support via phone and does not answer emails in the promised “24-48” hour window. The actual stores provide much better customer service, however without any order numbers through the vendors you can’t actually resolve anything (but at least you can easily get in contact with them).
If you use the site (at this point I probably would not recommend to a friend or family member), I would recommend buying any items through the actual vendor and NOT using Havenly as a middle man. There is no benefit to the customer to use their platform when ordering, and actually seems to be a little detrimental.

I can't in good conscious recommend using Havenly's services.
Our designer Erin was awesome. She did a great job at matching our style, providing work product on time, and making requested adjustments and additional suggestions. Worth way more than the amount we paid for the design.
This is where the review turns. Havenly and our designer Erin are open about the fact that the designers earn commission on products you buy from your design through Havenly. I assume this is where the designer make the majority of their money because the design fees are definitely not high enough to cover a fair wage.
Ordering and fulfillment via Havenly was a nightmare. I cannot recommend it to anyone. Havenly acts as a middleman and provides poor customer service and communication in exchange.
One of the items I purchased (curtains) was allowed to be ordered and paid for, but then within a day or two I was informed the curtains were out of stock and I would be issued a Havenly credit instead. I had to then request a refund, because the curtains were available from the manufacturer. This was granted but should have been automatic.
Next, I never received any shipping updates or tracking information from Havenly on my other items, until I reached out to customer service directly. This led to some items arriving at my home without warning, which could easily led to damage or theft if I didn't happen to be home when the packages arrived. We lucked out here but the lack of tracking information and communication was alarming.
Also after reaching out multiple times about the status of items (it had been 4+ weeks since ordering) I was informed that another of my items (a chair) was out of stock and discontinued so that order would not be fulfilled. I was refunded for this item after many days. I hate to think how long it would have taken to rectify this if I had not been constantly reaching out.
One final example, a TV stand I ordered was listed as being from Company A. After many weeks the item still had not arrived and I had not received any updates. Upon checking my account it reflected that the TV stand would now be from Company B. I looked up Company B and found the same TV stand at a significantly cheaper price and with free shipping (I was charged $79). Upon bringing this to Havenly's attention, I was issued a refund for the difference in price and the shipping cost, which was appreciated. But this was given "as a one time curtesy" because I was outside the price matching window. To me this is an example of poor service because I was not able to find the price difference during the matching period because they changed the suppliers.
I could go on.
I can't recommend ordering through Havenly and because the designers work on commission I can't ethically recommend using their services to just shop elsewhere.

This was my first time working with someone for interior design. I was just SO stumped on this room that I needed for several purposes. Molly was absolutely amazing to work with! She totally “got it” when I tried to explain what I was looking for and was so receptive to feedback. Things were turned around on time and she offered several options for how to move forward with the space. I’m delighted to see the space finally coming together and reaching its potential.

I honestly wouldn’t change anything. I used Havenly at the same time as Space Joy for different rooms and Heavenly was far and away the better choice. All of my designers were super communicative and helpful and really stuck to my vision but actually making it happen with their design skill. Shopping was super easy and so was asking for changes or alternative products. They even honor store coupons when ordering through their website. Shout out specifically to Lexie, Maria, Candice and Simrin. Just amazing to work with. I can’t recommend them enough.
I won’t design anything in the future without them.

Havenly has a conflict of interest. They bought Interior Define furniture when it was going bankrupt. You will be pushed to purchase Interior Define for any sofa or chair choice. The images and specs that the Havenly reps find do not match what is currently being shipped. We ordered an Alexander love seat March 2024 for over $1,200, something that should get you a reputable sofa. What we received does not match photos. Specifically, the back cushions are significantly shorter, an inch below the chair back and looks mis-sized. When I emailed support and included a photo asking what the dimensions should be, even the rep said that according to all images, the cushions should extend an inch or two over the back. The rest of the sofa looks fine, we simply would like back cushions that match expectations that the Havenly rep also had. Another rep took over only to offer a refund, but one in which they will take 50%, or over $600 for their false advertising. I am still engaging with support to find a better resolution, whether that is getting correctly sized cushions or some amount of money back as good faith. As it stands, you cannot trust Havenly and cannot trust the Interior Define specs nor images. Interior Define was clearly going through issues that led them to bankruptcy and it appears that 2024 is getting worse.
Update: Havenly support has since offered to try sending new cushions that will arrive in 10-14 weeks. If those cushions still do not match specification, they will return $249.

I worked with Candice Stephens and it was SUCH a great experience! I was very unsure about the direction I wanted to go, but she was so incredibly helpful and thoughtful! She got to know me as a person and created a space that I'm absolutely in love with!
Candice is such a pleasure to work with, I can't suggest her and her designs enough!

Working with Candice Stephens was an absolute delight! She effortlessly brought my vision for my daughter’s nursery to fruition. Instead of opting for the traditional nursery decor, I envisioned a modern, feminine, and funky space – one that I would also emjoy spending time in, given the countless hours I'd be there. Candice's responsiveness and timely attention to all my questions and requests were so appreciated and It was a pleasure collaborating with her every step of the way. I appreciated that she didn’t push heavily to purchase from their website. Highly recommend working with her!

The process is extremely slow.
I purchased for multiple rooms, but trying to find a designer who is available when you need them is next to impossible. You will go to choose a designer that states they are available next week, but then after you choose them, you will get a project start date 2-3 weeks out from the "next week" availability they stated they had.
I've used Havenly once before, and the design was ok but I didn't end up purchasing anything because I didn't "love" it. I decided to give them another try, but I am regretting the decision.
I've booked an interior design service for a couple of rooms. Went through quizzes and room questions and picked a designer. All good so far.
After waiting 3-4 weeks for the designer to become available they started working on the design. After a few days they asked me which vendor I want to buy the furniture from. After they learned I'm in Europe, not US they told me they cannot do the design because they don't have vendors, then blocked my account and refunded my orders.
I was perfectly happy just having the design and finding the furniture myself, then leaving a tip. But obviously not an option from a website stating that only recommends buying from their affiliated vendors and not forcing the clients to do so.
Would be helpful if the website states they don't do interior design for clients outside US. That could save couple of weeks waiting for the designer.

I used Havenly for a whole house design in 2021 and loved it. I spent over 30k with them and loved my designer so when I moved to a new house, I needed to do one room and engaged Havenly again. I have to say they are a completely different company now. My biggest complaint is their customer service team. They have absolutely no way to speak to a human being. If you call the number, it makes you send an email and they have 48 to 72 hours to get back to you. They don’t update the shipping details from their vendors frequently enough. The delivery dates they give you go by and then you email them and they don’t respond for days when you are expecting items. That gives them a built-in excuse because they seem to always blame the vendor. I ordered a leather sectional from them, and it was delivered by Wayfair, but had a damaged piece. The driver had me text the pictures of the damage and then Wayfair called me immediately to replace the item. The day they were to replace the item, they never showed. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with Wayfair customer service they told me that the account had been flagged for fraud because the credit card number is not the same as mine. They said Havenly has to call them. So I waited a week and a half for the replacement and then now I have to wait for Havenly to get back to me which will take days. Their design services are excellent. The customer service model is really really awful. I recommended Havenly to many many people, but will never do it again. I hope to finally have this sofa situation resolved, but I know it’s going to be a nightmare.
