Happy with our new T Roc

VW Tiguan 2.0Tsi 265 Rline

From initial discussion right up to delivery of the vehicle, I was treated as a valued customer. All my queries were listened to and all my questions were answered clearly and correctly.

Vehicle handover was professional and unhurried despite the dealership being very busy at the time.

I am more than happy, both with the vehicle and with the whole purchase process.

Service was top-notch

First time buying a new car on my own which I found quite daunting. I needn’t have worried. Craig was professional, courteous and kind. He patiently answered all of my questions and basically took the stress out of the process.

Very bad review for service team Skoda

Been thinking about this review a lot but been left no choice and it hurts to write a poor review for a car brand I’m highly passionate about. The full run down from the start
I own a mk1 Octavia VRs that sadly broke down before Christmas(either not starting or starting and stalling out),spoke with a lady(can’t remember her name) to get it booked in was a good experience sadly no loan cars which I understood with short notice. Jack called me to inform me that an air sensor was causing the issue with my car paid the £115 fee and the amount for parts and labour which was claimed back through my AA.
Then not even a month later my car breaks down again with the exact same issue,rang skoda up and spoke to a lady again and explained car is doing the exact same again. She got it booked back in but was a couple of weeks before being looked at so I asked for a loan car to be told they had none…this time wasn’t really acceptable in my opinion having worked in the car trade for a branded company I should’ve been given a car however I had to make other arrangements to get to work via train which caused me a lot of issues and not even having time to see my kids. I made it clear that I wouldn’t be paying the £115 fee to look at the car as this shouldn’t been happening again to which it was agreed but was told if there was an issue that wasn’t related IE if it was breaks failed I would have to pay. I knew that it was the exact same issue as before so made it clear I’m not paying and she said that’s ok. Comes to my car being looked at jack informed me that it was going to cost over £1000 to repair a pump and a sensor to get it running which I declined and said I’ll get my car recovered and be having it off the road. He then told me I needed to pay the £115 to get my car back and I explained all this to him but hit a wall so I can’t get my car back. Explained that the car will be scorned and not insured so don’t put it on public road as I’ll need to buy a new car that takes priority and he said that’s ok.

Overall not happy and I stand my ground in not paying the £115 as the issue should’ve been picked up before hand not a temp repair to try get more money from me which is how this looks. I will leave this review here and on google but will update if I get any response.Its only because I have knowledge of the trade and the car that I confidently know I am in the right.

Edit in response to your reply- clearly your heads in the clouds and will be taking further action as you’ve damaged parts of my car and car seat as well as stealing items from my car

We can confirm that your vehicle has been recovered to us on two occasions. the first resulted in a repair which was covered by your warranty. The second was for a different fault (Fuel and Air Pumps). This was not covered by your warranty and we offered you an interest free payment plan to help with payment. This was not taken. there is still an outstanding balance for the work completed.

The first repair was covered by a 12 month warranty so should it reoccur during that period it will be covered.

We do pride ourselves in delivering the highest levels of customer service and we believe we have done so during both of your visits to us.

Franz was very helpful and explained the purchase process when buying and collecting my new car. He explained and connected my phone to the car for me . Answered any questions that I had. All made very easy.
