HBOMax/TNT Sport - Guilty of False Advertising - Don't Trust Them
I saw HBOMax/TNT advertising, stating that they would be showing ALL Champions League matches from the Quarter-finals onwards. Being a Liverpool fan I was persuaded to take out a subscription. Settled down to watch tonight's match, only to find the 2nd leg was switched to AMAZON Prime.
Contacted HBOMax to complain and was just fobbed off by "Oh, sorry for the inconvenience, but you can watch it for Free on Amazon." No, I can't if I have already had a free Amazon Prime trial within the last 12 months!
Surely this is a case of false advertising, to state you are going to show ALL matches, but then only show some. I have been a sports subscriber to Eurosport and Discovery channel for many years, now both under the TNT/HBOMax umbrella and never had this problem before. Especially to make a change so very late. Spoke to DEB and she just said "We're sorry we didn't know this was going to happen." What!
My advice, don't trust any of the sports advertising on HBOMax and just expect rubbish customer service from these folks. Its obvious they are just so big now they can afford to give bad customer service and expect to get away with it. I will be cancelling my subscription as they cannot be trusted and their advertising full falsehoods.

So many commercials and you are not informerede sufficiently about this when signing up. The adds completely ruin the viewing experience for. Stay away - HBO used to be premium now it’s discount.
Continously disappointing
They make some good content, but then they cancel the continuations based on completely rubbish factors instead of giving the contents a chance to gain popularity.
No customer service
Uses the excuse to cancel my lifetime subscription that they couldn't charge the annual payment, without notifying either before or after, and even though the credit card is the same as last year's payment.

Just paused (well - discontinued) my subscription - and it was easy to do. They didn't try to hide it - and that is a big plus in my book.

Buffering and flickering
Buffering and flickering with most of what I watch. It is a shame because there are good shows and movies, but it makes it difficult to watch.
Incompetent customer service
Their services does not work on my computer suddenly since i can not log in, but works fine on my phone. i therefor contact their customer service, the only help i got was a link to their site which asked you to clear cache and cookies check that i have internet the usual classic which i have already told them i had tried (tried that before i contacted them not a complete dumbdumb), so replied that has been tried, and that i managed to find a work around to let me log in by disconnecting the network and using my phone as a hotspot which allowed me to log in but not letting me watch anything replied this and updated them with the info and they just stopped replying, I assume the case was a little bit more difficult than just sending a link so better to ignore it. Hbo is fine if it works if you get problems and need to contact their customer service good luck there is no help to get there, only incompetence

I found out they didn't have the subtitles in the language I needed. So I requested a refund which they refused because I had skipped through one episode.
This is a far stricter refund policy than other streaming services and I won't be back.
