Dishonest and incompetent

I decided to place an order online for some sprouted grain. Apparently the grain was out of stock, but *nothing* on their Web site indicated this.

Three days later, I got an e-mail saying that my item had shipped. However, over a week later, when I tried tracking the package, there was absolutely nothing to track, suggesting that the U.S. Postal Service had never even received the item!

So, I called the company to find out what was going on. Unfortunately, you couldn't talk to anybody, so I had to leave a message, in which I asked them to call me back. Well, instead of calling me back as I had asked, they lazily just sent me an e-mail instead (as I learned only later) 🙄. Since I'm not someone who checks e-mail very often, I had no idea that they'd sent me an e-mail. So I called them again and left another message, this time threatening to dispute the charge with my credit-card company. Apparently that did the trick! 😊

Anyway, they finally called and said the item is *still* out of stock, and won't be shipped for another week (almost three weeks after I placed the order)! They also never apologized or offered to do anything to make this up to me. Some companies will give you something free or give you free shipping when there's a problem, but not this company.

While I think this company offers some good products, they obviously have no idea how to run a business—and are dishonest to boot. 🤮 So, unless you enjoy incompetence, please stay far away from this company.
