Quick and precise service

I am someone who has experienced progressive hearing loss over time, caused not only by the natural deterioration that comes with aging, but also by a radical tympanoplasty (middle ear surgery) undergone since childhood. For a good part of my life, I have relied on hearing aids to restore my ability to hear and communicate effectively — especially given my profession as a university professor.
Now retired, I remain active and am determined to stay that way. After having used numerous hearing aids from brands such as Widex, Oticon, and Starkey, I was finally rewarded with a stroke of double luck: discovering an excellent audiologist, Mr. Andrew Heine, who suggested I try Phonak's newest model, the Infinio Audéo Sphere Ultra i90 R. The result was a complete success.
Following a thorough evaluation and audiogram, Mr. Heine made a precise and appropriate fitting, and after just two follow-up visits, I am experiencing a tremendous improvement in my everyday life. I am once again able to participate fully in social situations — not only with family, but also returning to bridge clubs, cinemas, public events, and auditoriums — gatherings I had long been avoiding due to my inability to follow conversations and understand what was being said around me.

Professional and friendly approach at the right price.Excellent service. I am recovering from a major operation and can't walk yet, so having Andrew come here was a life saver. I chose the top of the range which had a church loop receiver, music setting and background reduction for noisy environments. I am a church organist and can be driven to the church and have had lots of problems with echo messing the sound but not now.

Andrew came to our home at no extra charge and did a very thorough assessment. Though the hearing aids weren’t cheap, everything was included in the fee and the hearing test was free. Andrew also offers a great follow up (still included in the original fee) and replaced a damaged part imediately by post. The hearing aids themselves have been life changing - very hi tech and link to my smart phone. Highly recommended.

Andrew assessed my hearing status through an audiogram in the comfort of my home. The results provided the baseline for improvement with a selection of hearing aids, from which I chose the Phonak aids. Andrew delivered the new aids, testing them and setting them up to support my hearing difficulties. At each stage, Andrew was ensuring that my best interests were being understood and delivered. He has since revisited to ensure that my aids were operating as expected and that I was satisfied with my choice. He provided a personal service from start to finish and I had great confidence in his experience to help me with my life-changing choice.
