Intensive & worthwhile 200 YTT

I've just finished my 200 YYT in Moyobamba with Moksha Yoga Amazonica and I've really enjoyed myself and learned a lot in the amazing jungle of Peru.

This 200 YYT is a great introductory training that gives a good basis for beginners and intermediate yogis. It has motivated me to further my knowledge of yoga philosophy and to deepen my asana practice.

Vincent Roy draws from his personal experience in martial arts to complement is teaching, which was great for pranayama, as where Shirley Castro Chia was responsible of all the organization. She took good care or us!

We had great excursions that allowed us to discover the region.
These adventures were not very touristy, therefore very authentic.

We stayed at a hotel in Moyobamba, which was pretty and comfortable. Food was also good, although not always sufficient. Therefore make sure you pack some extra snack with you :)

The only other thing I would recommend is to get your own private room, as the trainning is very intense and you don't have much time on your own.

You are responsible of your own experience and I would suggest you make the best out of it!

The worst school ever

I’ve finished off the training last week in moyobamba.
I been practicing yoga for 12 years in a really discipline ways not just asana practice but also studying the philosophy of yoga.
This yoga teacher training was an absolutely and completely disaster.
The owners of this school has changed the actual owner Vincent Roy is a liar.
From the organization until the schedule, the subject of philosophy and yoga asana was everything a completely disappointment. He didn’t know what he was doing. Everything was weird and confusing.
Everyone was feeling unhappy with the content of the course and how they were teaching everything.
It was the first time they were running the teacher training, we felt we were the ginny pigs, the amazing thing is that we were 20!!!
Any of us could off believe how can he being teaching teachers.
We spend 2 weeks talking about the 8 limbs of yoga, he wouldn’t have any understanding of yoga philosophy, during the class any of the students were putting attention and at the end of the course the half of the students will be skipping the class.
Any discipline and any passion from yoga from the owner of the school.
I’m upset and sad, for all of us the 2 weeks were a real pain.
Don’t study in this school.

I did my 200 hours yoga teacher…

I did my 200 hours yoga teacher training at Moksha Yoga Amazonica and could not have found a better place! The teachers are passionate about and dedicated to the teachings of yoga, from a humble and open heart. What I learned was authentic yogic practices, from shatkarma cleansings in the morning to pranayama, meditation, both gentle and challenging asana practice, and I especially loved all the yoga philosophy classes where I learned how to practice yoga in my daily life, off-the-mat. Thank you so much for everything! I 100% recommend this place!

My experience at Moksha Yoga Amazonica was by unbelievable. Practicing yoga and meditation in nature was truly sublime. Every day at this school felt like a gift and the time passed so quickly!
I can recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a friendly environment with first class teaching.

Many thanks to everyone who made my stay so special!

Lots of love,
