Waste of money

First, they took 7 weeks to arrive. I got two responses to my initial queries about where they were. Then no response at all. When they did finally arrive, they were just awful! Dreadful sound, no matter how much I fiddled with adjustment. Clunky. Uncomfortable.

Their website offered a pair of HearWell Lite for $99.00. Its a lie!

Their website offered a pair of HearWell Lite for $99.00 a pair. I thought they would be worth a try given their moneyback guarantee.
This turned out to be an utter scam. They only sent one hearing aid, not a pair and when asked about this by email they denied the price was for a pair. Unfortunately for them I scanned and saved a pic of their website.
Secondly, they took more than a month to arrive. When I questioned their very slow delivery, they said the courier in Auckland mis-scanned the package and they had to claw it back from the couriers and resend. That is absolute BS as I still have to packaging and it was sent directly from China to my address.
When I told them that their courier excuse was a lie and their website was false advertising (they have since amended their website!) and that I was fed up with them and that I would file a complaint with the Commerce Commission under the Fair Trading Act they stopped communicating with me.
My advice to everyone is just DON'T!

Did investigation on company all come up well at the time, see now not a reputable company.
If I could give one star I would.
Very disappointed.

Advertised as NZ-owned - operates from Canada and will not refund

Purchased hearing aids for my father, who has significant hearing loss. The product is designed only for mild to moderate hearing loss, something that was not made clear at the point of sale and was only discovered after purchase. The aids were completely inadequate for his needs.

I requested a refund and return on 15 June 2026. Despite multiple follow-up emails over three weeks, I have received no returns form and no resolution. The company claims to be proudly New Zealand owned and operated, but the Wellington Hearing Association has publicly stated that HearWell NZ operates out of Canada and has been reported by multiple customers for exactly this kind of behaviour.

The pattern in reviews here is consistent, refunds are not honoured, customers are given the runaround, and emails eventually stop being answered. Save your money and go elsewhere.

No Money Back Guarantee

All over their website and their advertising are "money back guarantee" promises. Until you try to get your money back. I bought them, they're not fit for purpose because they are too big for my ear canal. Don't buy from them, they are scammers.

They say that they're NZ based, but by amplifiers came from overseas and took weeks.

This company advertises NZ owned and…

This company advertises NZ owned and operated with a special support email, I bought a pair of hearing aids that arrived a month after order and were the wrong ones, I have tried contacting the company via their dedicated support email with no reply. I suspect they are not even in NZ and while they did send me some hearing aids there appears to be no support at all and I paid for the elite I was sent the pro. I only ordered these because of the bluetooth capability which the pro does not have. I wore these devices while standing in traffic and was nearly deafened with the background noise. Beware of this business, they promise a lot and deliver a little.
